Objective: Access Template that gives view access to all usersThe solution to this used to be to create an Access Template with the Person ID = *This worked so long as * was not the person ID for the appowner, IFSAPP. (Easy solution: make a new person ID = IFSAPP and associate it with the user IFSAPP.)However, when a customer using Cloud 24R2 SU8 tried to do this, there was an error message that * is not allowed as a Person ID; no mention about appowner, just that * is not allowed at all.If that’s the case, what is the solution for this common business requirement. Thanks

Parent  - MP A (Manufactured), Component - PP A (Purchased)Both Parts are Lot TrackingInventory Valuation Method - Weighted AverageInventory Part Cost Level - Cost Per Lot BatchSteps Create a product structure for MP A with a quantity per assembly (QPA) of 1 pc of PP A. Receive inventory for PP A into cost bucket 110 at $2 per unit, quantity 10. (After issuing to the Shop Order, on-hand will become zero.) Create a Shop Order for MP A with a lot size of 10. Disable auto-close for this Shop Order. Perform Manual Material Issue for PP A to the Shop Order. Create the Lot/Batch. Receive the Shop Order and review the Shop Order Cost. Repeat the Scenario Using Backflush Recreate the same setup. Instead of manually issuing materials, enable Backflush for PP A. Receive the Shop Order and review the Shop Order Cost. Estimated Accumulated Cost changed to Zero.Is there a specific reason for this behavior?

Default Planned Cost driver and Progress method are both set to Connected objects. This settings are rarely in use for estimates and progress in our company…. and our users often forget to change them… this creates a problem when you set your baseline, since it does not fetch our estimates, but try to find amounts from Connected objects.So,-how to change default Planned cost driver and Progress method? That would help our endusers a lot!

Is it possible to do a search like this in Cloud to limit approvals to those the current user can approve? where (PERSON_ID = '#PERSON_ID#' OR &AO.Document_Group_Members_API.User_Member_Of_Group(GROUP_ID, '#PERSON_ID#') = 'TRUE') We have approvals attached to areas other than Document Management and I would like to make a lobby element for users that will show them those other approvals.

Hi Team,I have a request from customer to have a workflow to manage supplier invoice arrival. We already introduced Supplier invoice workflow using Posting proposal. However, there business scenario is like belowIndustry - Construction & EngineeringScenario AP team receive the supplier invoices directly from the Supplier and they need to assign this to Project Managers or Procurement team to get the source reference Eg: PO RefIs there an alternative solution to handle this requirement.I explained that AP team needs to get the invoices from the person who originate the transactions. However, looking for a solution to handle the exception where, AP team get invoice directly and they need to route it to different person via IFS Application.BR/Narmada

Hi,Our customer has an issue with OCI punchout with a supplier. Once the shopping is checked out no parts/lines are transferred from the punchout to IFS shopping cart. I investigated and found out that the JSON message we are receiving(for method Self_Serv_Shop_Cart_Util_API.Receive_Punchout_Response()) is missing parameters UserId, Supplier and most importantly BuyerCookie. The customer confirmed that they are sending these parameters in the POST request as below.  Also I have asked them to change the format as UserId[0], BuyerCookie[0], Supplier[0] just to test it out, but still we get the same issue. It seems the format of the POST request for the 3 parameters is wrong so its not mapping them to the Json message. I could not find any documentation other than what is available here Punchout Catalog - Procurement (ESSPRO) - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud. Is the parsing of the POST request from the customers portal to Json message happening at IFS? if so how can we check this, ju

Hi,Is there a Report for Contractor Time that has been registered but not yet invoiced (PRJT13 Postings Balance)? We are using Time Registration for Contractors to Enter Time Sheets. We then match the Supplier Invoices from the Contractors against the Project Transactions. These use PRJT13 - Project Time Reporting for Contractors Counter Booking. The Project Transactions Time Transaction credits PRJT13. When the Supplier Invoice is matched it debits PRJT13. At any time there will be a balance in the General Ledger in the Account used by PRJT13 relating to to the Contractor Time that has been registered but not yet invoiced (similar to the Purchase Order Receipts leaving a balance in the Account used by M91 relating to what we see in the “Received - Not Yet Invoiced” Report. Thanks for any help.Cheers,Graham

Hi,for one of our customer (Alliance 15.4.3), in several modules (Customer Center, Service Order,..) when the "quick search" field is filled-in in the QBE, then if you want to export the data listed in the scroller (in xls file for example), there are some cases where nothing happens : the is no exported file,  no error message and nothing is written in the log viewer. It’s stange because : - Case 1 : if you fill-in the "quick search" field (and only it) in the QBE with “COMPANY_A”, Alliance extracts N lines, but if you click to export those lines / choose xls file / and “submit”, nothing happens. - Case 2 : if you fill-in the "company" field (and only it) in the QBE with the same value “COMPANY_A”, Alliance extracts exactly the same N lines than in case 1 and the export function works well, you obtain the xls file…So for the SAME data listed in the scroller, you can export in the case n°2 but not in the case n°1. And for an other value, “COMPANY_B” for example, no problem. You can fil

Can work Order Planning gantt in IFS Cloud 24R1 be enriched with custom fields?I have a requirement where work order planners need to plan and schedule work orders based on Equipment Object groups. Object group is not visible in the gantt view, so my intention was to add it as a custom field with page designer. However there is no list of attributes in the page designer.

Hello,We need a verified script to completely remove the SapphireIMS Agent from our environment. This will be deployed via SCCM to ~6,000 Windows endpoints, so the script must be non-interactive and safe to run under the System context.Current facts: Install path (identical on all devices):C:\Program Files (x86)\SapphireIMSAgent\ A residual process named SapphireBackupTray.exe remains running after the current uninstall attempt. Relevant services are present and running on all endpoints. Requirements for the script: Stop and remove all Sapphire-related services and processes (including tray processes). Remove all associated registry keys and startup entries. Delete the installation folder and all files (including locked files). Run silently with administrative/System privileges (suitable for SCCM deployment). Please provide the verified script (and any recommended SCCM detection method or pre-deployment checks). If you have a preferred rollback or safety step to include, ment

We work in Assyst on the creation of new objects using a prefix and an index:Is it possible to use this also via the ETM? When I want to import an object through the ETM, the ShortCode is a mandatory field. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to read the last count value from the index in order to provide the ShortCode directly from the ETM.Thank you for your help!Jeremias

Hi together,we have the requirment to develop an interface which transfers data to an external system via REST and to use the response for a 2nd call. We did similar things already many times, usually we call the connect framework from PL/SQL (PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API) and process the response in PL/SQL via callback. This works fine as long the response data is placed in the body by the external system. But in this case we are getting back the response in the header. Is there any possibility to access the header tags? In this case we would need the information of “Location” for further processing.
