Solved

Hi IFS Guru, I am trying to down load the list of WOs through Active Work Order ( Maintenance>Work Management>Preparation and Planning>Active Work Order) in Excel format, all the tables was downloaded except the Object Description is not get downloaded in Excel, it is showing on the screen in the same column as “ Object and their description) but when downloaded in excel only Object ID is downloaded, even in the Column Chooser option Object Description field is not available, is there any way around to get this downloaded from Active Work Order.Object Description is important for us for the scheduling purpose otherwise we would have to download from Functional Object and match it with the list from Active Work Order, which is not a practical solution. We are using IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.8.20230509084539.0. Appreciate your help on this ! Regards Shez

Hi,The documentation on NotifyMe App, describes a step to “Register the Mobile App”.Is there a document explaining the process? [IFS Cloud - 23R1 UPD 6] My Status:I have created the Azure Notification Hub. And the notifications are received to the Notification Hub.Which means the Notifications are sent from IFS Cloud successfully to the notification hub. i.e. Application parameters in IFS Cloud are correctly defined. The Notification Hub metrics shows that the requests have failed. Understandably this is due to not setting up the Google and Apple settings which requires keys from the development team.Thank you,Sanjaya

Hello, I have a situation like the one in the picture below. The scheduling period is two days and activity duration is very short(3min).I would like to show "part Stock level" in a spaced out and visually understandable way. Could I focus on just one day? is it possible to zoom in or enlarge “Allocation over time” only for visualization purposes?I would like to show clearly what is happening in terms of the part stock level (Resource -Part Tab) and the chart trend (es: up and down)Is there any way to see this graph in a better way?  ThanksStefania

When I try to generate with Work Order Criteria Generation from this screen  I’m getting the following error details. I notice that it’s traying to generate also Calendar based WO. And below, I’m getting status of unfinished WO.Does someone have an explanation? Great thanksBest regards

Hi All,I’m trying to find a way to get a table sorted (decr) at the opening of a specific screen (Shop orders).I’ve been through a lot of topic, but cannot find my answer nor a list of syntax possibilities. The issue I face is not about setting a behavior at the page startup, which can be done easily, but rather how to sort a table based on a specific field (Start Date) with advanced search. If someone has an idea about that or documentation about IFS Aurena Advanced search (no SQL), I’m all ears ! Thanks,

Dear All, Playing around with the IFS MWO Service app for Cloud. One of the features is the ‘New Request Quotation’. When you click it you get a window where you need to enter 4 mandatory fields: Description Customer Service Service Organization Description and customer are no issue. But under ‘Service’ and ‘Service Organization’ my drop down menu’s remain empty. Where do I add information so that these become available? For Service Organization => In IFS app I did find a window called ‘Service Organization’ and I added some default in but this does not seem to go through to the MWO app. Is this the correct window?  And for the ‘Service’ field, I don’t have any ideas. :-) Thanks for your help. Best RegardsRoel

Hi,Does anyone know if we can define different Payment Terms for Customer Agreements in IFS (Cloud)?Customer (in real life) can negotiate for better prices, discounts AND better payment terms for different Agreements .In Customer Agreement we define special prices, discounts, delivery terms etc. That is great. But what about Payment Terms? One Customer can have different Agreements, but only one payment(?)Br. We are on 23.1.8 and have started the release update process to move to 23.2.5.When we reach the Order Delivery step, the job runs for approx. 5 hours and then fails. The error log shows 2 issues, one with core IFS code - we’ve been advised that will be fixed in 23.2.6 and one relating to an area we have developed, which will need to be redeveloped once we have updated to 23.2.X.Rather than waiting until 16th May for 23.2.6 we would like to ‘delete’ the release process we have started in Release Studio and try again with an earlier 23.2 release (23.2.4 for example). Is this possible?  If so, how do we do it?

Hi everyone,I have a IT1 apps10 testing instance that until recently was working fine, now all of a sudden certain deployments have stopped working - namely ifsapp-main (in MainServer), ifsapp-int and ifsservices in IntServer.  When I try and restart them I get the error “ Error occurred while performing startApplication : Failed to start the application with status failed”Can anyone point me in the right direction to sort this out?

23.1.4Post-migration of documents and document files from Apps9.I have a document revision where the Responsible Person = BSCOTT (connected to User BSCOTT). The History tab shows that an access line for BSCOTT was inserted at migration for Administrator: 1, Edit Access: 1, View Access: 1 and there is no record in the history tab that this line was ever removed. There are no records in the Access tab of the document revision page. The View Document command is not available to BSCOTT at the document revision page. Run the Generate Results in the Access tab and the only result is User IFSAPP has Admin Access as a DocMan Administrator. Connect the document revision to a Sales Part. Sales Part is not used to control access to documents. At the Sales Part, user BSCOTT can View the document file per the screenshot below.Anybody ever encounter this discrepancy in access?Any idea what could have been missed in the migration?

Edit: Solution has been found and implemented. Hello I tried running revaluation but I am getting the error below. This has never happened before.  Below are the revaluation accounts and GP9 posting control:     I would really appreciate help on how to resolve.

Can we use Conversion Factor for a Non-Inventory Purchase Part? We have a contract supplier for which we create a shop order for the finished good inventory Part and create a purchase requisition/purchase order (non-inventory part for labor to pay the supplier) against it. When receiving the PO, we will receive the labor first and then receive the shop order for the finished good. Our non-inventory part is set to ‘kgs’ and finished good inventory part is set to ‘eaches’. IFS does not allow us to set the conversion factor on the non-inventory purchase part. When we receive the shop order for 10, it is received into the inventory as 10, but we’d like it to be converted according to the conversion factor How can we handle the situation to receive the PO/shop order with a conversion factor?

Does anyone know what causes the “Total Cost” value on the CRO cost lines to be a negative value? We’ve seen this happen with CROs where the repair shop order is processed, material and labor are applied and when the cost lines are generated the LABOR cost category is a negative value even though the shop order cost is positive.Thank you
