In FSM 6, under Import/Export menu there is a option called “Perform FSM MPM”. Can anyone suggest me how to execute this process, so that we can do import/export as per our requirement. Means how to import MPM data from a file?

Is their any way to deactivate baseline client scripts in FSM for a particular screen so that we can create our own customized client script and apply it to that particular screen.

We use intersite (internal) customer orders frequently and we just most recently started utilizing the IFS Shipment module.  We had a situation where we needed to undo the delivery of an order on a shipment; however, when using the Undo Customer Order Delivery, we received the message that this could not be done for internal customer orders.  Has anyone found a way or is there a way to undo customer order delivery for intersite orders?  

Using IFS10 When you go to  connect an object to a Change Request you are prompted to with the following screen:   We would like to be select documents as connected Object’s in this screen. Does anyone know if that is possible?

Hi - Hopefully I'm in the right area and also I hope that I am not asking a redundant question.  I did search forums did a search here.  I am working with a view/screen that the user wants a field inserted via column chooser that exists on the form that is used to populate view/screen.  Yes, you can create a custom field which inherits the value of existing field on form and have it become a visible column in screen/view.  I've already done that and that works. But it's READ-ONLY. This new column/field needs to be editable from screen/view as the field it's referencing is editable when viewing the form.  Thoughts?  Thank you all for your consideration.

Dear All,   I am doing the process of Multi Site Order, I want to know do I need to enter the Customer Own Address ID in internal customers as well? since we are already entering on external customer. Also, the check on single occurrence is still coming on internal PO and internal CO, Is this because I have not entered customer Own Address ID for internal customer and internal supplier,. Currently our task table doesnt have anymore spare User_Def fields. is there any other way to add fields to this table or do we have to create a brand new table and link them together? Our sister company ended up creating another table (CUST_TASK) but the user defs all work the same. In the UI designer you’ll see all these in the task selection However were trying to do insert business rules using the CUST_TASK table and running into issues. If we could do this on the task table that would be great but there are no empty user defs left

Using IFS10    The Change Request screen has 2 required fields out of the box.    CR Level and CR Type.   Is it possible to make these fields not required?

Hello,   We are in the process of setting up expense management and we have a few issues due to the way our organisation works. For example, we have the following structure: 1.Worker ​​​​​​​2.Leader 3.Project Manager 4.Area Manager   If the Worker does an expense sheet, the Leader approves it and Project Manager authorizes it. If the Leader does an expense sheet, the Project Manager approves it and the Area Manager authorizes it and so on. So the same person can either be an approver or an authorizer depending on the person who places the expense sheet. As we assign a rule attribute to a position, we are struggling to see how we could do it. I tried to add an expense_status from Confirmed to Approved to the EXP_AUTH but I am not allowed to do that as it already exists in EXP_APP. We have parts that are sold by the each, but our customer always buys them in case quantities (ex: 10 each). We cannot convert the 10 each to 1 case for various reasons, so I’d like to be able to use packing instructions to pack them in case quantities to avoid having the shipping personnel manually enter the weights and dims of each of the packages and then add the appropriate amount to the case. For Example:Part 82975 is shipped out as ten per carton in a 82122 box.I have created a Handling Unit Type of 82122 with the weights and dims of the box. We use this box on quite a few cases for this customer. I also created a packing instruction called C82975 which will then connect the 82122 box. I can then add the handling units using Apply Packing Instructions and adding the number of cases (in this example, 12) Then, I still need to add the ten each manually to the handling units to get the correct weights and dims. Hi, I have used the BGMAX template to upload an external payment to an APP10 enviroment. The ‘Payment Reference’ in the File and the invoice is the same. However it doesn’t match the invoice and is trying to create a Parked Payment because the Customer ID is null. Has anyone worked with BGMAX customer payment file before and had the same problem? if so what were the steps taken to overcome? Thank you! Pamith

Is anyone aware of use cases for the SLA attached to a service contract?  We can create an SLA template,  which can have multiple lines included into the template with different response and resolution targets.  It seems that the SLA only considers the first template line - we cant work out why. Any help from the community would be appreciated 

Hi - When completing the Terminate Employee wizard, IFS prompts for Employee Status (After Termination). When i enter a value in this nothing changes, is there a background job or something that is supposed to run that changes the employee status? I feel like i am missing something obvious here?

In the part need screen, you are able to click multiple parts to print out. however if there are 3 parts on 1 request/task, it will print out 3 separate print picks and generate 3 separate shipments. whereas if its done on the request screen it will put everything in 1 shipment / print pick has anyone had a similar issue? is there any way of fixing this?    FSM 5.7

Is there a possibility for the users to create a new task and assign to themselves from the FSM Mobile App (version 6.1) ? Please list the steps if possible ?

Hi, We have IFS Applications 9 and run the application mostly on Win 10 computers. We have a problem with dialog boxes not being “on top”. The dialog box gets stuck behind and locks the entire computer with no possibility to access the task manager or any other application. The only thing to do is to press the power button on the PC. Very frustrating! Anyone have any experience of this problem and (hopefully) a solution?   Thanks in advance!

We want to install a new TEST-environment and name it to IFSTEST3 (the copy is from IFSTEST2). I have already made a RMAN restore and have the new DB copy ready. But how to create a new instance the easiest way? We have 139 deliveries and I don´t want to install all these manually.

Hi, I’m trying to setup a connection to an external API from IFS 9. I don’t have access to REST POST requests but I should be able to make SOAP calls, but I’m not sure if I have a SOAP Gateway. How would I know if I have SOAP Gateway running? BR Kresten

Is anyone else experiencing issues where custom layouts or fields disappear on the users?  We are using a combination of base profiles with personal profiles. The solution thus far has been to have the user uncheck the custom layout button within properties but then check it back and everything resets to normal. Some users are fine with this but then some users say they have to do this often.

Would it be possible to setup IFS 10 to setup an event action to send a post request to an external API endpoint? I can’t do that in IFS 9.   BR Kresten

Can someone explain how the “Width (%)”  field on the Lobby Element Designer works, please?  I have to say my success in getting the columns to display correctly is more luck than judgement...     Any information would be much appreciated.   Thanks Linda
