Hi,Is there a way to version control IAL files in cloud to make it automatically picked by the automation? Or else we have to manually deploy them across environments?ThanksRoshanga

We are starting to use service contracts (IFS 8) and some of our customers pay for one year in advance. Is there a way to have the service contract set up to show monthly the consumption of the prepaid dollars and then start charging when the year is used up?

Good afternoon,we updated our IFS to 25R2 since 2 weeks now and I realized a sudden change, that customer orders are falling more frequently into Blocked status due to credit limit being exceeded. The Credit limit is not new to us, but I am surprised how customer orders that have been shipped will still fall on blocked status.I noticed this because the Incoming Delivery Notifications go into status Stopped.In my opinion, if an order is released and free to be shipped, the credit check should not be applied to those orders anymore. The check should only happen at the Release stage. Anybody else having this experience with 25R2? I couldn’t find anything in the release notes, so I am not sure if it’s a bug or intended by IFS.

Hello!I'm hoping I can get some assistance on this questionFor reporting purposes one of our branches would like us to create a GST-Exempt tax code with 0% tax and ensure this will reflect on the Tax Transactions screen.This is currently what we have set up for them, but the NA does not pull on the tax transactions If I were to create the GST- Exempt 0%, how would I ensure this gets reflected on the tax transactions report?Thanks in advance! 

Hi Experts,We have a specific requirements from customer. Does anyone faces such situation, your guidance is highly appreciated.Customer has an Appointment Window for 6 months in current legacy system. So they want the from IFS too. But as per IFS that long window is not allowed. Do you have any best practices for the Appointment Scheduling window. I have experience of having 42 days Scheduling window (3 days Dynamic Work Days + 39 Appointment Work Days) but not working with 6 months window. If IFS doesn’t handle such long window any workaround to handle 6 months appointment booking window.Your timely suggestion will help me a lot. Regards,RR

It seems that you need an existing record in the Register Arrivals screen in order to select that line and then use the line-specific commands to Create the PO.  What if you’ve never created a PO for this PN?  In this case, when you search the Register Arrivals screen, there are no records and when there are not records, there is no line to select to enable the command to create PO. Thank youPatrick

We are running the cleanup of inventory background job daily, we have this set to 0 days before current date so it will clear everything with an old activity date. The job is running each day as I can see that it is clearing out inventory, however I am left with lines that will not clear. These lines have 0 on hand quantity, 0 in transit, are not frozen and the last activity date is prior to the job being executed.  The transaction history for these parts are also showing as old dates.  Is there anything else that would block these lines from clearing when the cleanup background job is executed? Thanks

Hello,We are upgrading from IFS 10 (IEE) to Cloud.  Some of our “10” users access the Time Clock from their laptops.  Is it possible for an IFS “end-user” to access the the Cloud Time Clock?  We have Time Clock IAM (service user) Clients working but would like the added flexibility.Thanks!  Troy

Hello IFS Community,I exported a layout from the IFS CFG environment on the Report Definition page. It’s a working layout that I previously modified and now need to update. However, when I try to open it in IFS Report Designer (connected to the CFG environment), the PDF does not open.I haven’t made any changes yet. Even when I try to open layouts that I had successfully modified before, the PDF still does not open.Has anyone experienced this behavior or know what might be causing it?As shown in the screenshot below, I am connected to the CFG environment. 

This seems like a basic request but I cannot find any way to achieve this inside IFS (Apps10).If we have a part shortage, how can we generate a list of all top level parts (manufactured units) that this part could go into?With a lot of manual work/expanding of assemblies we can get there using the Complete Where Used and Component Where Used screens, but we have to expand all of the multiple level sub-assemblies in order to find all of the top level parts that are impacted.Surely there has to be a better, quicker way to identify just a simple list of top level units (final assembly) that would require a specific part?

Hello,I want to add a custon field “Read only” in the page Inventory Part In Stock.The entity is InventoryPartInStock.I created the custom attribut to this entity. Using “Page designer” I can add the field to the page “Quantity per Location Details” But the field is not available on the list “Inventory Part In Stock” Do you have an explanation or an idea? Thank you per advance.

Hi,Hope someone has a good idea for my following case:Two advance invoice were sent to customer and paid(1000aud) in full. After that, the customer order quantity was decreased.The shipment was sent and the last invoice was created(900aud), cupia generated automatically -100aud via offset. In this case, customer has overpaid. Could anyone please guide me how to handle this open cupia?Thanks,

Dear All, I was working with Work Orders, Permits and Isolation orders. The whole idea was to create Work Task Templates and Pm actions involving Permits and Isolation orders so that 1 Work Order would suffice. I want to create 1 Work Order where 2 Work Tasks need to be done (with a dependency Start after Finish).The 1st Work Task involves welding so the machine has to be 100% electrically isolated - and will be performed by a Welder. The 2nd Work Task is a calibaration mode, so the machine must have power, but still be isolated from the normal production. Conveyor belts (that are powered separately) are not allowed to be running. So different kind of permitThe thing is, apparently to be able to start the 1st Work Task, both permits need to be released. Despite the fact that the Work Task are 2 completely separate things that are performed after each other, by different people, maybe even with a day in between due to scheduling conflicts.  So this does not seem to making sense to me. I

When I will create new invoice in customer->invoice through + icon, I want have switch on PrintTaxCodeText on VIEW IDENTITY_INVOICE_INFO and when It will be in false state, it will not create new invoice with error pop up window like “Invoice was not created”.How should PL/SQL block look like?Thanks 

Hi all,I was little surprised  that we dont have any screen in IFS which can tell me to historic inventory transaction and inventory on hand at that time….  I was looking the “ inventory Transaction History ”I am able to see the inventory transaction but it does not have any field which will tell the running total ??? Can any one tell me if such functionality is exist  but i am not just aware of it?

Hi All,Facing an issue with allocation/commitment,  activity was committed  at 4  AM but resource shift will start 08AM  and end at 4 PM for entire week  but how activity  got allocated at early Moring before shift time .  ex: SLA of the activity was 09/09/2026-11:54 PM  end  SLA- 06/10/2026-12 PM when i see in PSO task was committed at 4 AM today (06/10/26) actually  without shift timings PSO should not allocate and commit but how this was  committed? we  defined commit rules and  Time Before Shift Start  to 4 hrs. will  pso allow to commit task  before shift time  due to  time before shift value? can please suggest how we can stop allocation/commitment before shift time?

Hello I am raising some questions on behalf of customers.Our customer was always requesting Partner to raise cases but this Partner will be replaced to another company, hence they (customer/new partner) need to know how to raise the case from themselves.Is it possible for user bulk registration to IFS portal? if answer is yes, could you please tell us the process and all required information?
