Community,Wondering where to define the Period Version in Sales and Operation Planning for Make to Stock window? see below LOV, it only shows the period defintion till 2024-12. Thank you. 

Currently in IFS Apps 10 we have multiple users that have search functions which sort the results via multiple criteria, an example of this is below,The above will show the user the stock of the entered part number in all the locations on site, the results will be ordered by the Location in ascending order and then by LOT number in ascending order, aiding the user to see the oldest LOT first.  The results would be then sorted in the format below   I am unable to find a way to perform this in IFS Cloud 24R2, I only seem to have the option to sort by a single column, are there any work arounds that will resolve this issue or is this function addition with in the roadmap?

Hi all, Can you help out how to set-up these configuration settings? We have Configurable sales part A, manufactured Sales part A can consist of B1, B2 and/or B3, depending on what is choosen. We never have B1, B2 or B3 on stock. B1 consist of C1.1, C1.2 and C1.3B2 consists of D2.1 and D2.1B3 consist of E1 B1, B2 and B3 will always be manufactured when its needed for a configuration. We don’t have stock of these.Cx, Dx and Ex will always be on stock. We have a safety stock of these, so we can manufacture them in advance using shop order reqs from MRP. Let’s say I run the configurator, and a DOP gets created. In that DOP, after release, I want to see the shop order to create Top Part A, shop orders to make B1 and B2, and a reservation for C and D components. Is it enough playing with the netting parameter on the inventory parts? Should I use supply setting DOP for more than the to

I need to delete the customer order line but couldn’t because it has some pegged quantities associated with it. To reduce the pegged quantity to 0 I did RMB on the order line and clicked on “Manual Pegging” to navigate to the “Manual Pegging of Customer Order Line” window. The “Pegged Qty” in the header section shows 24 as shown in the image below. But, in the Purchase order tab, the Pegged Qty is already 0. Initially I thought if I had some qty in the “Pegged Qty” field in the purchase order tab, I would reduce it to 0 but it’s already zero.  On the customer order line, the pegged qty is still showing 24 as shown in the image below:

We are using IFS Apps 9 and rely on the Shop Floor Workbench to clock in time for shop orders. Currently, when sharing time, users select multiple shop orders and click “Start Production” to allocate time across multiple orders with the same work center.However, when attempting to job onto multiple shop orders with different work centers, the “Start Production” option is greyed out. Is there a setting or configuration that would allow users to share their time across different shop orders with different work centers?We appreciate your guidance on this

We are currently in 23R1 and are prepping to go to 24R1 in IFS Cloud.  But, we are having a bit of an issue with our Shop Orders and associated time reporting.  We normally will set our Routings to have identical Machine Run and Labor Run Factors, and we adjust our Work Center Capacities to account for the number of people there (e.g. 1 person is 100% efficiency, 2 people is 200%, etc.).  But, with our larger projects, it is very common to have something take a month to manufacture.  And, during this time, it is VERY normal for the sites to add additional people to a Work Center for a day or two if they have some extra workers available (say, another Work Center is down for material issues or Maintenance).  But, when this happens, our Remaining Hours gets out of alignment.  For example, Person A will Start Production for the day, starting Labor and Machine Time, and then use Stop Production when they are done, totaling 10 hours for the day (say 6 am to 4:30 pm with 30

We had an issue over the weekend.  we went from Standard Time to Daylight Savings time.  From about 1AM to 3:00AM the time on our Time Clock and the Time on the Shop Floor Workbench did not match.  The Shop Floor Workbench was 1 hour ahead of the Time Clock.  During this time operators could not clock into jobs on the SFW because it said: “Start time for a clocking cannot be a future time.”  Once the actual time change occurred, this error fixed itself.Do the SFW and the Time Clock get their times from separate places?We are on Apps 10.

Using the “Compare Shop Order with Structure and Routing” option on a shop order shows blowthough phantom items strangely. I get that its doing a 1 to 1 with the product structure so it shows the phantom as being “absent” on the shop order structure and the blow-through components as being “additional”.But I don’t like how the default action is to “remove” the additional components, when they really should be there. We had a change order come through and a planner went through this screen to update shop orders and removed many components without realizing. If we use the “Update Structure Revision and/or Alternate” or “Mass Update Shor Order Structures” it updates the shop orders correctly. Just wondering if I’m missing something with a setting or something. Or if anyone knows if there is any plans to make the Compare feature a little “smarter” in regards to phantom structures.

Hello, I am getting this error But I have checked the Routing, the Workcenter, the resource templates, and resources to make sure that they are setup correctly and they are.  I am thinking that maybe there is a company wide setting that needs to be set.

How do I create a Operation Number in the Configuration Structure IFS Apps 10  

When enter a numric value 100, 50 in configuration rule, the value is converted to 100.5 even if I have web setting to use comma in qty per assembly.Anybody that has an solution to this or is it a bug corrected in later releases. We run IFS Cloud 23R2 

Hello Team,I have an issue discovered today.While I’l trying to copy an inventory part, the ABC Class is wrong. You can see on the screenshots below that the REF part is in class A, but the copied part is in Class C.Do you know how can I solve that ?

Hello Comunity, I have a question regarding the functionality of the Part Eco footprint module in IFS Cloud.                    Everyone in the product`s  distribution chain must indicate on the invoice the amount of the recycling charges based on the weight of hazardous substances in the product.  The Eco footprint module calculates the weight of hazardous substances from entire structure parts. Recycling charges must not be part of the product price.                                                                     Does this module a tool for recording recycling charges?Does anyone have a solution for this?                                                                                       Thank you for your answer.  

When doing odata batch-requests in APP10, the response contains duplicate Content-Length headers. I’m using .net package Simple.OData.Client to call the API, and this client detects this as an error and throws an exception: “The header 'Content-Length' was specified multiple times. Community, we have a part which is lot controlled. currently we have 2 bags of this part but with different lot batch number. my question is, how to merge this 2 bags into one lot batch number? We are on APP10 UPD9.Thank you.

Hi, a bit of background on our operations: We are a machine shop that carry out repair of various products that are not manufactured by us (eg. pumps, valves gear boxes etc). For a specific part depending on the type of repair required, we have created standard product structures and routings. (for eg. for a specific part, I have four standard repair procedures for which pricing varies depending on which repair procedure is required, i can use product structure and routing to define these four repair procedures). We currently use a modified shop order to carry out repair activity using the Shop Order module which allows us to schedule and plan our work centers. Hence, I am looking for a solution where the sales team can select the part with its specific condition code, i can define the pricing using different condition codes. And once the customer order is released, the product structure and routing for that specific repair is automatically populated in the automatically created sho

Hello,I was wondering if it is possible to use the acceptance sampling for not lot tracked parts, where the methodology would calculate then every time based on the lot size of the shop order.I have tested it, and it is possible - acceptance sampling calculates the sample size, however I am not sure what other consequences it might have? Thank you very much in advance for your help in this one.
