Hello, could someone please point me in the right direction for training documents, webinars or videos that may help with Demand Planner setup and functionality. Thank You

 I would like to a quick report on the 12th of the month for the prior month.  So on April 12th it will run for the month of March.  On May 12th it will run for the month of Apr and so on.  This report is also run manually by the users.  Is there a way to dynamically set the From/To date to be the prior month or do I have to create  copy of this report with the dates dynamically set in the select statement?  I obviously don’t want two exact reports because of having to remember to make all changes twice.  Below is the a screen shot of the server task schedule.  

Hi,We are using an integration from our external configurator to feed the DOP structures with parts and routings. When looking at the Shop order costs for the DOP controlled parts they do not seem to follow the same logic as for the parts that are manufactured to inventory. As an example, if the routing say 10 h for an operation and the worker is clocked in for 5 hours, we want production to get paid for 10 h, but being able to analyze the clocking to see that the worker did it in 5h. This works for regular shop orders, but for the DOP controlled, the Actual cost calculated is based on 5 h instead of 10. Shop Floor Workbench is used for reporting the Shop orders. The checkbox “Default time to report” is ticked on Site. Anyone who knows what goes wrong?

Hello All, I’m hoping there is somewhere in IFS to track this. It was recently discovered that an Availability Control ID was applied to a large group of parts in an inventory location. I have not found a place in IFS where you can view when and who applied the ID. I’ve checked Inventory Transaction History, but I do not see the transaction there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,We are a company that is producing different plastic profiles. For planning we use APB. As we may produce several items that have the same shape (tool) but different lengths we want to put them together and reduce set up time between shop orders. We were told that we can use set up matrix and sequencing. During test it worked fine, unfortunately, after setting this up for all our tools, it created millions of combinations and APB crashed. Is anyone else also having the same requirement? If so – how do You handle that? Do You use APB or perhaps other planning tool? I would be grateful for any suggestions and ideas 😊Best regards,Bernadeta

I am in to project based manufacturing and using DOP Orders as well.I have scenarios to swaping all shop orders connected to my two projects or two DOP Headers.I can use group by for Project ID or DOP ID and can select all my connected Shop orders. However, drag and drop does not support for multiple Shop orders.Can you advise, how can I do it in Manufacturing Visualizer.BR,Thushan.

Hi, We are currently on IFS Aurena app. I noticed that If I create shop order manually then IFS shows me ‘Create manufacturing analysis’ option to register control plan for particular operation on shop order but if my shop order gets created from DOP then ’Create manufacturing Analysis’ option gets disappeared from operations line menu .  What should I do inorder to register the manufacturing analysis if the ‘Create Manufacturing analysis’ option is not there ? It doesn’t allow me to receive the shop order without doing that. Please help. 

Is there a way to move multiple serialized parts to a common inventory location in apps 9 or do they need be moved one by one?

The part is a software program and we do not suppose to serialized software.Is there any way to disconnect this part from serialization?

Hello all,under Aurena Rel. 9 there is a dialogue "Shop Order Materials with Shortage / (in Germand FA-Material mit Fehlmenge)".I have set the shortage monitoring for one part and received requirements from shop orders. However, nothing is displayed in this dialogue.Can anyone tell me what the dialogue can be used for and in which context?Many thanks

Has anybody determined the situation in which one may want to set the Inbound Work Center location(s) as Not Allowed for outside reserve/backflush AND set the Inbound location(s) as Not Shared? Just trying to get a feel for how the combinations of thesetwo settings can work together.

Hi, all of a sudden we have a printer that is printing double sided.  The 2-sided option within the device settings is unchecked.  The printing default settings and preferences are set to 1 sided as well.  Printing form other applications to this printer are 1 sided so it is something happening in IFS.  Printing to other printers by the same user results in the proper 1 sided.  We are using IFS 9.  Thank you for any assistance with this printer!!

The company that I work is looking to utilize Package Part.I was wondering if somebody from the community has some documents about to utilize such module. We are currently in IFS 9 and we are looking forward to upgrade to IFS 21. Anybody has some advice what is new in for package part or what was new for IFS 10 regarding to package part.I will appreciate any feedback from you.

I am looking to build a single query statement that pulls back all parts that are part of a given Part Structure.  If I look at the Tree view in Engineering Part Navigator it shows all parts that are part of the system.  I need the ability to query the database for all parts that belong to this tree.  If someone out there has done this can you please share.  Another way to look at it would be I want everything on the Multilevel tab.  Although the tab shows all part records the view it is based on does not (ENG_PART_STRUCTURE_EXT). Any help would be appricated.

Hello everyone.  I’d like to know if anyone does the following or if it’s even possible. We use standard costing.  Site A manufactures a part that has material, labor and OH cost bucket IDs.  The part is then transferred to Site B.  Currently we use the P-150 cost template to set the standard cost in Site B to be the same as the standard cost in Site A.  The problem is that the cost in Site B is only associated with cost bucket ID 510.  I’d like the material, labor and OH costs from Site A to be the same in Site B.  Is this possible?  Thanks!

Hi, How do we set the status “Scrapped” on Design Objects? When we try to do that, we get the message “This state change is not allowed when the operational status is In Operation”.And the Operational Status seems to be read-only. Thanks in advance!
