What are some good resources for learning IFS?  I’m not able to attend IFS Academy due to costs.  I’m just wanting to know if anyone has good resources for learning.  I have gone through some of the e-learning available in IFS 8 but I was told it was not available in IFS 10.  Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi, I created a Custom Field in the LU IncomingInvoice which returns the Coordinator Name based on the PO Reference. But there could be multiple PO References separated with a semicolon. When that is the case IFS returns no value. Is it possible to solve this issue, so that IFS returns multiple values when there are multiple PO References. When using query builder, I get multiple records when I use Join.   In The example below, I get 3x the records I expected, each record being duplicated 3 times.  I am assuming I am getting this due to the Join, my records from View A, the same records from View B, and the same records from the Join.  What can I do to only get 1 set of records and avoid duplicates?    

I just went through a successful upgrade from IEE to 23r2 deployed On PremI have the provided IFS_INVENTORY, IFS_SALES, IFS_CRM, and IFS_PRODUCTION_PERFORMANCE models deployed for Data Mart and scheduled.I scheduled my Data Mart Refresh Category, Data Load, and Model Processing in a db task chain, these execute successfully, and I see my logs in both data and process runs.For some reason I don't see any data past the day I did the initial data load in SQL Server, the data is fresh in the MVT and BI tables.Can someone assist with this, if so, please let me know if more information is needed from me?

We want to remind the suppliers of the deliveries on a daily basis and to come to us as an information report on who the reminder was made to.We did this with 3rd party apps. But I know that IFS is capable enough to do this as well. So we don't want to depend on 3rd party apps.But in order to complete this, I have many questions and problems in my mind.How to send the report sent to each supplier to me as information (e.g attachments)? How do I attach the excel report to the sent emails? How do I send email body as html with "Operational Report -> Report Formatter". How do I send the email sender from our email address like supplier@xyz.com. Or how do I make the sender header "Reminder for Pending Purchase Part"? Can I insert graphics such as lobby elements into the email?We are using IFS 9.4. And we couldn't find answers to most of our questions from the community and the help document.Your every information on the subject is very valuable to us. Thanks.  

Hello All, Can somebody provide a good document/tutorial/work instructions on how to create a Business Report? I don’t seem to find any good manuals that describe the possibilities and ways that we can use business reporter. For example: - If I use a Repeater on a row, can I use this repeater and define this immediatley as a dynamic XLS table? - Can I make a Pivot table of this? - How can I create a bar chart that takes into account the dynamic range of the repeater? - How to add an additional ‘calculated’ column to the table? (Calculated = I just want the difference between 2 source columns). Thanks for your help! Best RegardsRoel

Hello,We have an issue surrounding business reporter that is causing frustration in its users. After initial login in Excel, we are able to use BR as needed. However, if we get timed out and attempt to login again, we get the error below. The only workaround we’ve found involves closing all instances of Excel and reopening the business reporter. This is a pain when working on many reports, or when we just have many different documents open. Occasionally this doesn’t even fix the issue and we need to restart the entire computer. Is anyone else experiencing these issues with BR? Hi, I need some help with a SQL statement for a Quick Report I try to create. I want to show the total amount of a Purchase Order including charges (when a charge or multiple charges are applied on an order) and excluding tax. I created the statement below, but did not get the desired result. The statement is working fine, except the bold part. The statement returns only a value in ‘Total Amount’ when there are charges applied on the Purchase Order. And also, when there are multiple charges applied on the PO, the statement returns multiple lines. Hi, I have an issue with adding a field on a lay-out in Report Designer. I want to add a field on the pdf lay-out of the Customer Invoice, but two tables overlap in Report Designer with as result that I am not able to add the new field. Hi allI am trying to grant access to a user to run a specific quick report we built. But it seems to me that if I grant FND_QUICK_REPORTS to him, she getto run all the Quick reports. is that correct? What's the best way to give access? I am missing the presentation object I used to have in IFS10. This is 24.1.1 by the way.Thanks,Asela
