Looking for positive/negative feedback from users that utilize Cloud warehousing modules for everyday business.  

Here goes a question for all of you who have some expertise deploying containers in the Data Migration Manager (or experienced in any type of migration tool with PAYMENT_ADDRESS as the destination).I’m trying to understand why, upon deploying PAYMENT_ADDRESS, I get the following error:Method NEW failed : ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [MAPPING_TYPE] is mandatory for Payment Address and requires a value. I am providing a value for MAPPING_TYPE as you can see in the screenshot:Error on Data Migration Manager. Notice the field has MAPPING_TYPE has data! I tried changing the value of mapping type to other values to see if that could be the reason (I tested with values such as “CHK” or “PAYMENTADDRESS”) bu

We are receiving the following error when trying to complete a manual invoice on a Consignment PO.  The parts have been consumed.I’ve seen another post regarding this same issue but there was no resolution.

We’re investigating if it’s possible to select Shop Orders based on their status for loading into the Advanced Planning Board. Based on the research that we’ve done to date there seems to be no way of doing this within the standard system.Does anyone have any previous experience in doing this, or have any suggestions of how it could be achieved?

I have 9 rents on buildings I have to pay every month.I see there’s a selection to “Create Recurring Invoice” in the header.If the system doesn’t allow the same invoice number for the same company/supplier, how does it set up an invoice number to associate with that month’s rent?Also, how easy is it to go in and stop one recurring invoice in the event the rent goes up with the new contract?We are using IFS APP10Thank you,Scott 

Hey all,So, like almost everyone, I’m pretty new to Report Studio in IFS Cloud. We have been using Crystal Reports and because that is getting deprecated, I’m having to learn it pretty quickly.Anyway, there have been two things whilst making the laser check print, that should have been easy to do, but weren’t, and because I couldn’t find them, I thought I’d share.The first was the payee address, this was coming out as a single line, which is less than ideal. After a week, I brute forced it after adding a calculated field to the ADDRESS_LINE table, with the data member as the ADDRESS_LINE and the expression as [].Join( [PAYEE_ADDRESS], Char(10) ). Nowhere in the documentation, does it explain this, especially that part where [] is the data member.The second part was the amount. We pad the start with asterisks, but the format would not stick for whole numbers, so, 1200 would not come out as ****1200.00 even though I had the format setup. After a day of tryi

HI,I’m currently experiencing an issue when trying to complete a Request Work Task via MWO (Report In).Although the clocking out data is successfully passed to IFS Cloud, the task remains visible under “Work Start” in the MWO mobile app and Work Assignment.Each time I attempt to close the task, details such as the survey, description, and debrief are correctly transmitted to IFS Cloud.  However, the task stays open and reappears every time I reopen the app and sync.The failed transaction returns the following error:“Not allowed to change the status when the Work Assignment is downloaded to a mobile device. - ORA-20110: JtExecutionInstance.NOSTATUSCHGALLOWSTATUSLOCKED: Not allowed to change the status when the Work Assignment is downloaded to a mobile device.” Could you please advise how I can resolve or manage this issue?

Hello,We are setting up the product estimator and noticed that when an existing part is added, or a new part created, it is not possible to add by-product information in the estimate/estimate item. If a new part is created in the estimator, and an existing part product structure is copied into it, the information also does not seem to port over.Does anyone know if this is a limitation?

Hi community! Is there some setting to use to have the reservation done at picking? Our customer only uses picking in the process but to setup an internal trade between companies we need to somehow handle the reservations on customer order. If we do the setup on “customer order type” that reservations will be handled automatically, WHEN will the reservation be done? Say that the delivery date is month away. Thanks!/Emma

Both data migration and IALs create tables on the database dynamically. Can we know if the functionalities in these areas are affected by the upcoming EBR changes? ​@chanaka-shanil hope you can provide some guidance :) Best Regards,Damith

Hi All,In App10 version we could use the condition based search quite effectively. We caould have enter more than records in one condition. But in cloud it seems condition based search is only working for the first item that we are entering. If we have multiple records for one condition based search is not working. Is this a known issue in cloud?

The posting controls we set up are IP16 and IP18.  We set up IP16 with the Liability (AP)and IP18 with the Prepaid account.  When we ran through a full test the of the Payment Schedule process beginning to end of paying the down payment, the prepaid account was zero and the down payment ended up in the liability account.  This leads me to believe that I might have the posting controls set up backwards. How does everyone else have these two posting controls set up? 

This seems to have been asked a few times but I’m struggling to find a resolution.We are running IFSCloud 24R2 and have our engineers using the IFS MWO Service app.We currently do not have SSO enabled so are logging in using credentials set if IFS Cloud but are finding these time out on a regular basis which is causing our engineers a lot of frustration having to keep logging in.   Has anyone found a good way to resolve this please as this is becoming a major issue for us. 

What solutions do people use for integrating External Supplier Invoices into the eInvoice Modules of IFS?We receive the majority of our invoices from suppliers via e-mail and want to automate the extract and loading of these invoices into IFS.We currently run APPS 9 but are planning to upgrade to Cloud within the next couple of years. ThanksAndy

We are currently trying to create a Sales Opportunity and a Sales Quotation for a customer categorized as End Customer in IFS Cloud. However, we encountered an error stating that the customer is “not of category Customer. My questions are:Is it technically possible to use the category End Customer for these processes? Are there specific configurations or settings required to make this category valid for Sales Opportunities and Sales Quotations?Thank you in advance!

After terminating and subsequently rehiring an employee, users encounter the error “Employee is not valid” when attempting to report time transactions. I’m upgrading from APP9 to Cloud (24R2) and am having trouble getting the subscribe functionality to work as it does in APP9. Am I missing some kind of basic data setup or security? For example, on the Work Task screen, I select the bell to subscribe. I’ve set my expiry date 1 year in the future and select both Send Email and Notify My Changes. I toggle on Work Stage field and click Ok. On the Work Task when I enter or change the Work Stage Value I would expect an email and a notification in the upper right bell (similar to APP9 in the notifications section of the navigator). I can’t get either to work. I’ve tried various fields and screens with no success. What am I missing?
