Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible, in standard IFS functionality, to make the attachment of a document mandatory when an employee submits a specific type of absence request (for example, sick leave).

Context:
We would like to ensure that a supporting document (e.g. medical certificate) is systematically provided when employees request certain absence types.

Question:
Is there any standard configuration in IFS (Cloud) that allows making document attachment mandatory based on the absence type?

If not, has anyone implemented a workaround (e.g. using custom events, validation rules, or other configurations)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @ksebf,

There is no standard OOTB functionality or configuration to enforce a supporting document attachment for a specific type transaction, however, requirements can be achieved using a BPA configuration or custom event.

Please refer to discussion below.
