We have an issue where Parts are being reserved to a Customer Order (via scheduled Create Customer Order Reservations job) 24 hours before the parts were produced on the Shop Order for the same Parts. I have a copy Pick List referencing the lot batch from the Shop Order, and the final step of the Shop Order wasn’t reported and the Parts received into stock until more than 24 hours after the reservation took place. As far as I can tell there was no partial Shop Order Reporting and the full quantity on the Shop Order was received into stock at the same time, but 24 hours after the goods were reserved. There did not seem to be any pegging of Customer Order to Shop Order and the CO Supply Code was Invent Order.  Is there any way that a batch can be reserved and appear on a pick list, prior to being reported on a Shop Order?

Hi All I have observed this on previous IFS versions as well. This is 24.1.9 The validity period has passed, but the agreement remains active. Isn't this fundamentally wrong?  Thanks,Asela 

Hi All, In IFS Cloud applications, License management window comes with a button “Generate Metrics”. This allows us to generate the license information realtime. IFSAPP user has the access to this button in most of our environments(Different IFS Cloud versions tested). But the button is not available for IFSAPP user for a customer who is currently in 22R2 version.Has anyone came-across this issue and was able to resolve? Please let me know if there is any possibility to fix this issue. 

Hello,After IFS Cloud update to 24R1 version there is no possibility to use Document Repository with Repository Type “Shared”.Client used Repository Type “Shared” and all document files were kept there. After upgrade client cannot access document files from Document Revision. Receives error: Error in downloading file: one or more errors occurred.First question: How to reach the document files after upgrade to 24R1 version if they are uploaded to repository with type „Shared“?***We tried to create new repository with file type „File Storage“, in the field „Path“ (in the form „Repositories“). When uploading the document file to Document Revision, document file is put to the docman place, but not into the certain catalog for the certain Document Class:And document file uploaded to repository is not named by „Repository File Name“.Second question: How should be created new repositories with repository type „File Storage“ that document files could be uploaded to the exact folder of the cert

There is a requirement of showing the capacity drop in the resource analysis window, when an employee is on leave. As shown in the screenshot, when the employee working full 8-hour days, the capacity line appears flat. When employee work partial hours (for example, only 5 hours), the capacity line drops accordingly, reflecting the reduced hours. Similarly, if an employee apply absence on any working day, the capacity should drop to zero (0) hours. How can we build this connection between employee absence and capacity in resource analysis in IFS cloud application? Appreciate your support. Dear all,In manual supplier invoice window when I attach a document for document class INVOICE ,I can see there is an attachment been attached and I can view it as well.Whereas in the same window I cannot see documents attached by other users in the same document class.Other users can’t see the documents attached by me in the same window.What can be causing this issue please.ThanksUdanee

After the database import we execute Batch.ins fetching from original build home to create the database processes, but the does not create the database processes for Freight interface. How can we recreate the database processes associated with Freight interface? Thank you.

Community,I have 2 kanban for 2 parts using Kanban Auto ROP. The transport task is created as expected.but, I am running the replenish job again, and again, then you will see the quantity is incremented by kanban quantity every time.Is it a bug?

We recently started to implement “drop-off” locations for Kanban-driven Transport Tasks.  Ever since beginning to use these we are seeing problems with too many Transport Tasks being created, but only for parts/circuits that use these drop-off locations for staging.Transport Tasks are being created as expected, and look correct, however we are seeing multiple Transport Tasks being created instead of just one.  It appears that one TT is being created every 5 minutes, which is the frequency that the Kanbans are being run at, which seems to indicate that something is signaling a new TT to be created even though one has already been created but just not yet fulfilled.Is this normal?  Is there some way to prevent this from happening, so that it will only create a new TT if one has not already been created?Presumably we could shift to e.g. 30 mins on the kanban generation, which would allow more time for the parts to be delivered from the warehouse, through the drop-off location and then to

I am trying to change the account of an object and add a missing department. In the Move Object screen, it let me save the changes. It did give me this pop-up message “The new values entered in the accounting tab differs from the values in preposting. Do you wish to save anyway?”. I selected yes and everything seemed fine. When I pulled the same asset up it had the old information in the “New Values” table of move object. I tried to change them again and got the following error message “Cannot proceed with transaction. There are existing transactions being processed for object XXXXXX”Where can I see the transaction being processed and move it through? I checked background jobs and did not see it there.   Thank you

Hi everyone, We’re encountering a persistent issue with how Private Activities (PAs) are handled in PSO, and we’d appreciate any insights or suggestions.Use Case:Like most, we use Private Activities to indicate when a technician is unavailable. Up until the day of the appointment, everything looks fine—tasks are scheduled around the PA within their respective SLA windows.The Problem:On the day of service, when PSO assigns work early in the morning, it appears to ignore the SLA windows. Instead, it schedules all tasks to begin after the Private Activity ends, leaving the earlier part of the day empty—even if the tasks were originally meant to occur before the PA.I believe we see the same issue with fixed assignments as well under certain scenarios. Example Scenario:A technician has jobs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (let say 4 one hour tasks), and a PA from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with his work day ending at 5pm Instead of correctly scheduling the tasks before 2:00 PM, PSO stacks them all after 4:

Hi Community,I'm currently configuring workflows in the Technician Portal and have noticed that the Service filter in the Workflow Configuration doesn't seem to be applied. Even when I set the filter to apply to specific services, the workflow is  triggered  for all the servicesIs this expected behavior, or am I missing something in the configuration?Would appreciate any insights or guidance on how the Service filter is supposed to work in this context.Thanks in advance!

When we are working with customers on their data migrations, it sure would be nice to have a NON-TECHNICAL list of all system defined mandatory fields and required tabs for the setting up a customer, supplier, purchase order, customer order, etc.For years we have always had to tell the customers to do a search for these fields by attempting to enter something and noting what fields are mandatory.  I think it would be far more efficient to have a published list of these things for the ENTIRE system categorized by application and table within the application.

Hello, I have a custom field that I had created for two different entities that have the same exact logic; the difference being that one loads on a list view while the other one never does unless you filter down to one instance. Does anyone know how to setup connect integration with Pagero in IFS Cloud?  I cannot seem to find any documentation anywhere and IFS Service Center would not help. All the guides that I have found on community are for Apps9 and Apps10.  We use it for P2P and O2C.  We are upgrading from Apps9 to Cloud.

I am coming across an issue with IFS Cloud 24R1 where a Request for Order Quotation has been raised from a Purchase Requisition in error and the RFQ then fully deleted. Raising the RFQ changes the Request Type to Quotation Request, which sticks, even when the RFQ is deleted. If the Purchase Requisition Line is authorised, the Request Type cannot then be changed back to Purchase Request, and this forces the User to create and process a Request for Order Quotation through to approval. This feels like a bug and the current process is not user friendly leaving the User with an authorised Purchase Requisition Line that they cannot convert to a Purchase Order without going through the lengthy RFQ process to approval.  

Hello,I am curious if IFS comes standard with any Quick Reports that a client would get when they purchase the ERP, or if all Quick Reports need to be created by the client. We have a list of dozens of Quick Reports in our system, and I’m wondering if any of them came standard out-of-the-box or if we made them all/had them all made for us.Thank you!

Is there any tool that gives us a model/diagram of the database structure in IFS.In particular, I want to see the ActiveSeparate table and dependencies. As an example, we use Visual Studio to model some databases we have, and it makes it a lot easier to understand the dependencies. Below is just an example of what I’d expect to see.  I appreciate that in Developer Studio, I have seen something similar, but when I use Developer Studio, I cannot find these models.

Hi,A 3rd party application called MC was purchased for a project of our company. And they can send xml to IFS from this application. Only invoices will be entered into IFS. Is it possible to enter invoices via xml in IFS10 applications?
