Hi!I have a customer where we recently installed the IFS Solution ID 312399 which is supposed to contain security patches for IFS10 middleware. Now when they run their security scanning software, it still finds old versions of log4j.jar and commons-text-1.1.jar that is know to have vulnerabilities. Aren’t these supposed to have been replaced withIFS Solution ID 312399?
Issue Description:In our organization's PSO environment, we have a large amount of technicians with diverse shift types, where each engineer may have their unique shift pattern. Due to the dynamic nature of schedules, frequent modifications or creation of new shifts lead to operational challenges.Current Challenge:The issue arises when we need to adjust an individual's shift without altering the entire template. For instance, we may need to change an engineer's Wednesday shift for a single day to a different Category and apply a specific Rule Collection for that specific day. However, we observe limitations in applying a single-day shift change within the Advance Resource Planner.Query:Is it possible to modify an individual's shift within the PSO Workbench to change the Shift Category and incorporate a Rule Collection for a distinct day, without applying a template for that day's shift? While we understand the feasibility of accomplishing this through API integration, we are seeking gu
Want to understand when we will see the next “Due Next” Date in the RSP overview. We have completed the request tied to 5/28/2026, and expect the next due next date in the overview to be 10/1/2026. In the overview for RSPs the Due Next date appears as 5/28/2026 even though the request is close. When will 10/1/2026 appear as the next due next date? Please advise.Thank you,Ed

How to set lobby home page by default for new user in 25R1?
Dear All,In the previously used IFS Applications 9 (APP9), it was possible to configure detailed formatting settings for screen fields, such as:* Background color changes* Text color changes* Font weight changes (e.g., bold text)* Conditional formatting* Cell-level highlightingIn IFS Cloud 24R2 (Aurena UI), we have confirmed that Conditional Formatting and Emphasis-based background highlighting are available. However, we could not find functionality equivalent to the detailed formatting options available in APP9.Therefore, if anyone knows about the following points, please let me know.[Questions] In standard IFS Cloud 24R2 functionality, is it possible to change text color or font weight (e.g., bold text)? Is our understanding correct that the current standard Aurena functionality mainly supports background-color-based highlighting and Emphasis features only? Is there any standard functionality or recommended approach to achieve APP9-level flexible formatting features, such as arbitrar
The use case is like this.In a factory the customer has an area for assembly. The area is a Work Center and have 10 separate places wher assembly of a product can be executed. Each place is defined as a Resource in the Work Center. The Routing is set-up with multiple Opearation but use that same Work Center. The Product to be assemble, is in reality started and completed in one of the places inside the Work Center, all Opeartions are done in the place and should use one Resource only for all Opeartions done in the Work Center. The standard logic shedule the Operations to use different Resources. How can you use the standard logic to pick available Resource for first Operation+Work Center and use same Resource for all Operations in that Shop Order per Work Center?
Is there a good way to prevent Auto Reporting of Outside Operations by someone in the Shop Order? We recently found out an employee had closed and received a Shop Order using the “Auto Report Operations” toggle when doing the SO receipt (we always have a few Rework Ops that have to be closed at SO closure). They had missed that there was an Operation for an Outside Service that was still open (no Ship WIP or PO receipt). But, by using the Auto Report Operations toggle, the system closed the PO and Outside Operation automatically too. I see that I can turn on the Milestone Operation toggle for the Outside Op, but this would also prevent other subsequent Operational reporting in the SO until that Outside Op is reported. This isn’t operationally functional for us as it is very common to have an Outside Op for one part of the SO and subsequent Ops for other sections of the assembly which are unrelated (e.g. Op 20 is a Laser, Op 30 is a Saw, Op 40 is a Plasma, Op 50 is an Outside Op to
For purchase order no part lines our company has the set up to fetch the account based on internal customer. This will always result in 2 accounts. One has cost center mandatory and other account has cost center as Can.To avoid users forgetting to enter cost center in the order line we have done the pre posting set up (M108) as Mandatory pre posting. If we make this preposting mandatory then we will have to enter the cost center for our other account which cost center is set up as Can.Is there any setup so that mandatory preposting will only be mandatory for one specific account (the account with mandatory cost center in code part demands)
I am trying to migrate Migration Job Group but i am getting this error when i import, What am i missing
Hi all,We are currently reviewing antivirus impact in our IFS 10 environment (including middleware and migration instance), where we are observing significant file system activity and increased system load. The environment is protected by Trellix AV with real-time scanning enabled, and currently no application-specific exclusions are defined for IFS.We see that:Migration instance (IFS 10 MIG) generates high volume of file operations Middleware and batch/integration jobs trigger continuous real-time scanning This results in increased CPU and I/O usageIFS Support has advised that this topic should be addressed via the community, so I’d like to ask for practical input from other customers. 👉 Questions:What antivirus exclusions are you using for IFS 10 environments? Which directories are typically excluded (DB, middleware, temp, logs, integration paths)? Are there any specific processes that should be excluded from real-time scanning? Have you seen similar behaviour in migration environmen
We use standard sales price to calculate the sales price of the project transaction but when the expense is created ( via expense sheet) the sales price is equal to the internal price of the expense sheet.
hi folks, I am trying to run the below report, but I don’t know the meaning of this field “Project Demand Key”. There is no field description for this. Can someone explain what this means please? Thanks,Ashani
25.1.7I have a part with two Part Revisions, 1 and 2.This is an Export Controlled Part. When I want to assign a Primary Classification, Classification Scheme, and Export Control Code, neither Part Revision 1 or 2 is listed in the Revision No dropdown. Why are these revisions not in the dropdown? The field description for Revision No:The revision number of the part. If the part has had several revisions, the revision number will be stated. The revision number is automatically generated by the system. This is the number that designates a current or past version of a part or assembly. If IFS/Manufacturing Standards is not installed, the Part Revision value is set to 1. If IFS/Manufacturing Standards is installed, the value is retrieved from the Revision No field on the Manufacturing Standards/Part Revision and Attributes/Part Revision page. When registering purchase order arrival the value is retrieved from the respective purchase order line. For a number of transactions where a relevant r
We are encountering major issues with our upgrade from 24R2 to 25R1. This is our 3rd Cloud upgrade. The first two painful upgrades we considered these may be teething problems and related to upgrading to the latest version (as IFS recommends by the way). Now we decided to be conservative and go for 25R1, just one release up and 9 Service Updates rich. IFS also confirmed they have improved supporting these upgrades. Finally, we have customizations but very little (as compared to other clients according to IFS and our implementation partner). We are now 4 days in the upgrade process and do not even have the build place working with help of IFS. One issue pops up after the other is solved. Did any of you experience similar issues? What else? What more can we expect? Should we go for 25R2? Not upgrade at all? What can you advise?
Hi All,I would like to add ‘STREET ‘ ( NOT Address1) to the Company Address. How do I configure Address Presentation Layout to achieve this?

Hello,I'm struggling to populate a multi-choice Custom Enumeration attribute via Camunda Workflow in IFS Cloud. I have a custom attribute (e.g., Cf_Factory) that is a multi-choice (multi-select) custom enumeration. When adding a row using the UI, I can see (in the debug console) that the field expects an array like:Cf_Factory: ["CfEnum_London", "CfEnum_Manchester"] When I try to create this row using Camunda Workflow, things break: If I set a single value: execution.setVariable('Cf_Factory', 'CfEnum_London');, it works. If I try to set multiple values, nothing works. I’ve tried multiple things via a Script Task: ArrayList, Spin, comma-separated (["CfEnum_London","CfEnum_Manchester"]), etc Has anyone successfully set a multi-value (multi-enum) Custom Field via Camunda Workflow? Surely this must be a common task and usage for Workflows? I am on IFS Cloud version 23R2. Any advice or experience would be much appreciated!
We are encountering an issue in our Installation Report workflow related to the picture capture sequence within the associated surveys. Below are the details:Surveys Involved: 857 — Installation data capture with initial pictures 858 — Contains the “More Equipment?” question after picture capture 316 — Additional picture capture survey triggered when required Issue Description:As per the expected behavior: The system should allow the user to capture 4 pictures in Survey 857 Then prompt the user via Survey 858 asking if they want to capture 4 more pictures If the user selects Yes, Survey 316 should start for the next set of 4 pictures If the user selects No, the survey should end Current Observed Behavior:We have configured the Next Survey field in the answer options as follows: For the ‘Yes’ option, we have added Survey 316 in the Next Survey field. For the ‘No’ option, we have kept the Next Survey field blank. However, while testing the survey on the mobile app, we ob
Hello all, I looked here and I did not find a solution to my problem. Here is the situation : I have a purchase part with PCS unit but when I received 1.8 PCS out of 4 there is no blocking. Is there any parameter/way to do it please? thanks
Hi All, When we enter a new cost to a Resource Group, the below error pops up. However, there is no such costs defined for the Resource Group. This has happened even after we creating a new resource group. This behavior is there in one of our environment. Entering cost works fine in our another environment. Anyone, have seen this error?
This Service Request Task creates demand for parts on the Site (BFC-F). Perfect!IPAP shows the demand for the material on the request task #33. Perfect! We need to somehow show material demand on a “specific remote warehouse” for this service task (based on the functional/serial object). Service Tech will pick up material at RW.Has anyone tied supply chain demand to service tasks and how did you do this using remote warehouses? On IFS Cloud 25R2
Hello everyone,I would like to ask whether anyone using IFS Demand Planner is working not only with a standard sales forecast but also with constrained demand. In our current setup, we are using Demand Planner where the forecast is maintained in the Adjusted Forecast. This forecast is then transferred to the Master Schedule and serves as the basis for both procurement and production planning. However, we are facing a common challenge:The forecast often represents unconstrained demand, i.e., what sales teams would like to sell, without reflecting actual production or capacity constraints. Alternatively, the planning team adjusts the forecast down to a constrained demand level, so that it better reflects what we are realistically able to produce and deliver.I would be interested to understand how others are handling this:Are you working with both unconstrained and constrained demand in parallel? How do you incorporate capacity constraints into your planning process? Do you manage this dire
HiWhat is the connection between executing background jobs/database processes in IFS and actual database session? In 25R1 i have 2 jobs. Both are executing and have been executing for a while. I can see that 1 of them have a process id, and therefore a database process. We can also only see a database session for that 1. Is it normal behaviour for a job to sit in executing status without a process ID? And does there being a process = a database session. All queues are set up with 1 process, so them being in different queues shouldnt matter. Or am i wrong about that
