Unable to find History Log data

On Shop Order > Control Plan tab we turned history log tracking on for some columns. The cells that I select are populating in the Record History / History Log. This issue is also occurring for a custom field created in the Analysis Results page. The results show in the oracle database, but I am unable to find them in IFS.We turned history log on for some columns in the material and operations tabs without issue we have had no issues, history log its functioning properly and accessible via View>Record History. This is true for IFS standard and custom fields

Error in Mixed Payment

Hi All,We are getting below error message when we are trying to approve the mixed payment. Here we try to write-off project invoice through a mixed payment. We have set pre-posting in project and those are available in voucher which is created for project invoice. But when the invoice is picked for the mixed payment, pre-postings values are not available in Matching Transactions tab. Even we are not allowed to fill pre-postings in mixed payment window. Default Receive Case for inventory part in IFS Cloud

Hi All, Previously on Apps 10 it was possible to define the Default Receive Case for Inventory Part on Site Windows in Sales and Procurement tab. I try to find out this field without any success. If someone knows where this field is hide, it will be a hudge help. Thanks in advance.

Include rebate transactions in periodical settlement

Hi,I have a question regarding our periodic settlement process that I’m struggling to solve. Note that we are using IFS apps 10.In Month A, we record sales on several part numbers, and a periodic settlement is created and invoiced for that month.In Month B, however, the customer returns some items purchased in Month A. When running the periodic settlement for Month B, the rebate transactions generated by the RMA are not included in the settlement.We contacted IFS, and they explained that if the net amount of a part number is negative, it won’t be included in the settlement. However, this still leaves the question: how should we handle this situation?Is there a way to manually include rebate transactions?

Instant Authorization

I will get this dialog in apps10 update 16, does anyone knows the solution for this, the same works in production with update 11 ? the invoice should be seen in the Instant Authorization window, if i click on okay IFS crashes and closing down the application.The dialog say that the plugin for acrobat reader is missing.

Cancel matching on Manual Supplier Invoice

We have scenarios where we can have single line Manual Supplier Invoices that need to match to hundreds of PO lines. If a single matched PO needs to be unmatched (maybe due to an error while selecting lines, or a query raised) , how can this be done in IFS Cloud? The Cancel Matching command in Cloud cancels all of the matched lines forcing the user to go back and have to redo all of the work they’ve already done.Example (just for demonstration purposes), I’ve raised a Manual Supplier Invoice, linked to a single PO with 2 receipted lines. The PO is still in Preliminary status. I matched the 2 PO lines using Match PO Receipts. The posting lines were created automatically. I now need to unmatch one of the PO lines because a query came through from the person who receipted it. If I select the posting line(s) then click the Cancel Matching button - it cancels both the lines. When there are 300 or 400 lines already matched this is a real issue. Any pointers would be greatly appreicated!

Purch UOM conversion to Inventory UOM - Pack size?

Hi All, seeking suggestions here.I am having Pack of 100 (PACK100) as my Purchase UOM and Each as my Inventory UOM for my purchase part as supplier only send pack of 100 and I am breaking it down to each after receiving. When I raise a Purchase requisition requesting 150 for the part when converting it to a Purchase order Qty will update as 1.5 of packs. But ideally supplier would send 2 packs. Does IFS has any out of the box function to set a standard size in this kind of a scenario to pick automatically 2 since the supplier is provide packs of 100.Any help highly appreciated.Purchase Requisition Purchase order Thanks,Chamath

Discrepancy in Has Follow on field in work assignment in work tasks

Test Steps follow,Create multiple visits for user 01 via PSO→ assign them to user :01→ then cancel the visit 01 (automatically system will cancel all the visits)In below WT example, Has Follow on field = TRUE for all the cancelled WAs But for this example, only visit 1 as Follow on field = TRUE for others it is set to FALSEDoes anyone explain this discrepancy?

All Part Cost Calculation - Extremely long run time

All Parts Cost Calculation was run as a background job on 09/11/2024 at 01:30. It completed 10/11/2024 03:10:21 so a total of 25 hours 40 mins.Previous successful completion 03/11/2024 10:40:24 took nearly 23 hours. This job had been running regularly taking around 6 hours before November.There have been some significant changes to product structures recently which seem to have resulted in these extremely long run times. This is high priority as we are unable to run this job in a timely fashion so it will impact finance timelines to prepare end of month/year reports. Ideally this job needs to run in under 8 hours.Any advice on changes that can be made to batch queue configuration that may improve this?

Issue with DNS Resolution with IFS Cloud Build Place DB

Hi,I am having issues with the Azure VPN connection to our IFS Cloud build place. I can connect successfully, but the DB host name resolution does not work. For example, we are given this DB host for our buildplace:myhost-dev2-db.build.ifs.cloud:1521/alepdbI cannot connect using this host name, and I can’t even ping that host. If I use the database’s IP (10.37.x.x), I can connect and query the DB normally. This is fine as a workaround, but the IP can change.Is there a DNS server that can be manually added to my Azure VPN profile?Thanks

Team's overview screen for Managers

I would like to get an overview of my employee details like one screen showing time transaction details for my team while authorizing their time cards, absences,etc. I’m aware about quick time authorization screen although it just shows total number of hours worked on different wage codes, it doesn’t give details about it.Can someone please advise which screen can give a better overview for managers as per above requirements?

How to trace background jobs?

Here is a question for all my fellow IFS Community members. The title kind of says it all but to expand a bit, I’m trying to troubleshoot some code running in the background of IFSAPP10 and, I would like to add some TRACE_SYS.Message lines. Traditionally, I have always been able to see the content of those lines using the Debug Console, but since this code does not run after the UI generates an event (like clicking a button) and rather gets executed in the background, I’m not sure where those TRACE_SYS.Message lines will appear. Is there a place were I can see the content of any tracing I do an that scenario? Thanks!

Crystal Report Error in retrieving the parameters because : CWPKI0823E: SSL HANDSHAKE FAILURE

Hi,Recently, I have updated our dev environment from 22R2 to 23R2SU6. However, since the Crystal report is required SSL communication. I found an error (from kibana log) when I try to call a simple crystal report. The message is :"message": [ "CWPKI0823E: SSL HANDSHAKE FAILURE: A signer with SubjectDN [CN=ifs-cloud-rpt.MFADTH.local] was sent from the host [ifs-cloud-rpt.mfadth.local:443]. The signer might need to be added to local trust store [/opt/ifs/wlp/output/defaultServer/resources/security/key.p12], located in SSL configuration alias [defaultSSLConfig]. The extended error message from the SSL handshake exception is: [PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target]." For your information, I have create self-certificates for the CWS server (both RootCA and SiteCer) but I have no idea how to put a RootCA.pfx via ifscloud-values.yaml. is it certificateFile and certificatePasswor
