One of our customers upgraded to 24R2 recently. The release upgrade started on 1/22/2025 and build place was updated on  3/7/2025.Now, in their Build place (DEV) environment, the application version and framework version are different.However, in the relevant TEST (useplace) environment both application and framework versions are the same. Could you please clarify,How something like this could have happened What is the impact this will have on future deliveries/fixes. What can be done to get the useplace and prod environments to the same framework version as dev.

Is there any news on the Deprecation plan for Quick report and Custom Events in higher versions in roadmap

When a Shop Order is Infinite Scheduled (unscheduled by MSO) the Operation Start and Stop Times are consecutive. Each operation step is to begin when the one prior completes.When I run MSO, the last operation step is not scheduled to begin right after the one prior. The first 2 operation steps are “Set Up” and “Test Piece” and have machine set up times. The last operation step (COA) is the actual production run and uses machine run factor.Each operation uses the same work center, resource and labor class. Each shop order is backward scheduled. The only interesting thing I have found is that the first 2 operations, when scheduled by MSO, are scheduled to run at the Start Date and leaves the 3rd operation step for a day before or day of the shop order finish date. What am I missing here? 

When implementing IFS Cloud Service and Maintenix, assuming a 10% customization rate, what would be the expected testing workload? Please break down your response by Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and System Testing.

Hi Experts,After executing Transfer Inventory Transaction , there are multiple records inSupply Chain and Manufacturing Posting Analysis that remain in status"1 (Created)" and are not transferred. Common Characteristics of the Records:The affected records share the following attributes:Accounting ID: Negative value Posting Type: M1 (Inventory) Posting Event: ARRIVAL (Purchase Order Receipt) Posting and Transaction Source: DUMMYBased on our internal investigation, we were informed that these records may berelated to posting simulation.  Q1.Could someone clarify what it means functionally when Posting IDs are negativeand used for postiong simulation in IFS? Q2.Under what conditions are such records created? Q3.Are these records expected to remain in status "Created (1)",or should they eventually be processed/cleaned up?Regards,

Hello Can any IFS Customers, Partners or IFS Consultants in the Community elaborate on an upgrade you’ve made from IFS App9 to the Cloud?We are in App9 UPD14, we are debating to go through App10 or not. What do you think?We have quite a lot of customizations and configurations and maybe, only maybe, some of them will not be needed after the upgrade.  Thanks!

Hello Community,I am looking for assistance with the installation of the IFS Sustainability Planner application.According to the installation and user guide, the solution should be available through Microsoft Teams and Power Apps. However, I cannot find the IFS Sustainability Planner/Sustainability Hub application in the Teams app catalog, and the installation steps described in the documentation do not seem to match what is available in our environment.Could someone clarify the following:How can the IFS Sustainability Planner Hub be installed? Is the Hub available as a Teams application, a Power Apps solution, or through another deployment method? Are there any prerequisites, licenses, or permissions required before the application becomes visible? Hello Team, I am trying to create quick report in 25R1 version. We have report which needs to be generate data with specific column values along with some null columns. When I am trying to prepare following kind of query then 25R1 is not allowing me to save the query.  I cant use Alise here as report needs to have specific structure.  May I know what would resolution here? Note- following query is given for example actually query needs to have many null column along with some actual data columns.  

I am trying to understand the Maintenance Change Request in 25R2. Would appreciate some help in understanding the way of working. How to use the second step in the assistant? Looks to be reporting fields, are these supposed to be used on the current task or why should I add data in for example “action taken” when I create a new MCR? As a technician I would like to report that the work report and interval for the job is incorrect, how would I go about to do that? Without adding any of the toggles in the first page I am not able to create the MCR. I would only like to report duration and work descripton changes, not anything related to material, resources or object. Is this a bug? Why is the object updates limited to test points and parameters?

Hi, Is it possible to modify the planned value in the Maintenance Plan even after a Work Order has been generated and completed?We updated the condition value, but the Maintenance Plan did not regenerate as expected.Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks!

Hi Community,Our integration service provider sends both the incoming Customer Order XML and the related PDF attachment to our IFS Reader separately. PDF name include Order reference.Is there any standard mechanism in IFS to import this PDF file and attach it within IFS, preferably to the corresponding incoming Customer Order, same as we do on incoming external supplier invoices ?Any lead is appreciated.

Hi,I am trying to understand is the standard IFS process and system behavior when a material reaches its expiry date.Specifically:• Does IFS automatically block expired material from allocation to a Shop Order?• Does IFS prevent the issue of expired material to production?• Is the material required to be moved to an MRB or quarantine location?• What is the standard IFS workflow for dispositioning expired material (e.g. Scrap, Rework, Use-As-Is, Return to Supplier)?• What is considered IFS best practice for aerospace and defence manufacturers managing shelf-life controlled materials?From a Quality and AS9100 perspective, expired material should not be available for production use until an appropriate disposition decision has been made.Any inputs from Industry experts would be greatly appreciated.

An aerospace and defence Customers Quality department have raised an issue as below  -1) When an Item gets expired IFS displays the expiry date in inventory part in stock screen as well as the item can be visible as expired from the Inventory part lobby. This is perfectly fine.2) However this item according to Aerospace Defense industry global standards should be immediately triggered for disposition . In IFS system such items are only flagged and there is no automatic creation of an MRB case.Is there an out of the box standard solution for this without any configurations or event actions ?

I am assuming this is not an option but thought I would put it on here for clarification or possible other ideas.Is there a way to add pre posting data on the Supplier Agreement line instead of having to put it on the PO each time we do a release?I wanted to test setting up our monthly utilities on a blanket purchase order and do releases.  But, there needs to be pre posting added to get the posting controls correct.Currently on IFS Cloud 23.R1 SU 5.

Hi All,I am running a flow on a situation where company A is purching a rental asset from the company B. In that case in the Company A there is a PO in the part lines tab to purchase the asset with the ownership “Company Rental Asset”.Upon releasing and sending the PO. Inter company CO is getting created in the supply site which is Company B in my example.But this Customer order line state the ownership “Company Owned” not “Company Rental Assets”. If the demand is coming from “Company Rental Asset” then the supply should also be in “Company Rental Asset” is it? Seems other line data is coming from the interco PO line but not the ownership. Is there a setting known to anyone to control this behaviour. I have set up the sales part as “Sales and Rental” in the Company B. 

We sell product quite frequently to cash customers. IFS does not seem to support One Time Only Customers with Customer Orders, and from what I can see Instant Invoices do not work with inventory parts. What are others doing to get round this issue?

Hello,  In the UBL, for a customer e-invoice BtoG, do you have the BT related to the service code ? We have done all the setup for BtoG but the BT service code does not appear ?Do you have the same issue ? Thanks

We are starting to use service contracts (IFS 8) and some of our customers pay for one year in advance. Is there a way to have the service contract set up to show monthly the consumption of the prepaid dollars and then start charging when the year is used up?
