We are only using Time Registration for projects, not attendance. The Remaining Hours line in the Grid View causes some confusion. Is there a way to remove it? We are on Apps 10 UPD22.

The remaining hours field is standard core IFS so any attempts at removing / hiding is customization > modification of the system.
If you are only using time registration to book hours against a project / work order than I would recommend that the schedule has no expected hours in it therefore this will then show no remaining hours as per below:
