Technical Attributes and Class connected to Functional Object

Hi All, I have a question on connecting my Functional Object to a Technical Class (and Attributes). I did following:Created a Technical Class Created Technical Attributes (Numeric and Alphanumeric) Created Technical Class Template and connecting various Technical Atributes to the Class Template, and including ‘Attribute Values’ to the Alphanumeric AttributesCreated an Object Type Connected a Technical Class to my Object Specified the correct values for my Technical Attributes connected to the Object Type Approved my Technical Class for the Object TypeNavigate to Functional Object Add Object Type to my Functional Object This populated the tab ‘Requirements’ with the attributes from the Technical Class connected to the object type But…..Why are the values I specified on the Object Type not copied to the Functional Object? Shouldn’t this be populated as well? Maybe I am not understanding the functionality correct but I would assume the Technical Attributes of the Object Type Technical Cla

When negative charges are added to a work order,customer order or RMA the debit/credit invoice ends in Printed Status due to an imbalance in postings

After Update from IFS10 UPD13 to IFS10 UPD 17, we experienced an issue, that Invoices ended in status printed, due to an imbalance in postings.Customer invoice posting analysis show the error message ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (The difference in Accounting Currency for the Invoice 2023004303 has exceeded the limit .2) occurred while booking Invoice CD 2023004303.The error is caused because IP2 and IP4 postings are missing in the customer invoice postings.This message is caused by bug 164696.Has anyone already done a data correction for corrupted data which was caused by this bug?kind regards

Good Afternoon All,  I’m currently setting up/testing the transfer to payroll but when I run the transfer to payroll I’m not getting any payroll transactions.  Has anyone got any documentation on how to set up/configure?

Report Project Cost = On project screen nets to zero

We created a Project Cost using Report Project Cost - Non personal.This uses posting control PRJC3 and 4. But all that happens on the project monitoring screen is that the Debit and Credit offset one another to 0.How do you get it to show the committed cost you have posted and not offset. The debit and credit below just offset. We do not want this, we want one line to appear with a value of 10 so Revenue then shows 10.00

Crew document - Offshore operations

Has anyone experience with generation a document straight from IFS with data from the specific crew member? Next of Kin Competences Certificates (With certificate number, validity dates and possible attach the document as appendix)Just wanting to know whether it is possible to generate such things or solution directions.

Property Field Values - Multiple Fields

Good day.  I want to create a Property Code with the option of Multiple fields.  However, when I add the new Property Code I get the option for “Multiple Records” but the “Multiple Fields” option is not available.  Please can someone assist?  Thank you.

ORA-20110: ExternalFileUtility.FILENOTEXIST gets for External File Batch Process Cloud

The Customer has upgraded from APP9 to IFS Cloud.22R1Configure according to "https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/030_administration/030_integration/330_ifs_applications_business_components/190_ext_files_i/#external_file_”In the cloud when we run the external supplier invoice assistant in the batch mode we get the FILENOTEXIST error in background jobs"ORA-20110: ExternalFileUtility.FILENOTEXIST”  for the background. What more to check, please advise.Thanks in advance,Udeni .

Problem with saving a file in a repository of type "File Storage"

I've created a file storage repository and when creating a revision of a document, there is a problem with saving the file. When I try to write, I get the error below.  The repository configuration looks like below. In addition, I changed the settings here. Should I set anything else?

Pass Yesterdays Date in URL from Lobby Element

Is it possible to pass yesterdays date in the URL navigation from a lobby element?We’re trying to filter work completed yesterday, or ideally, within last 24 hours. I’ve achieved roughly what we need, but hardcoded, which clearly isn’t the solution. But wondering how we can do it dynamically?e.g. This works, but we need that date to change.page/Mapage/MaintenanceEngineerTaskExecution/AssignmentCompleted;$filter=WorkFinishDate%20ge%202024-05-19 Any help appreciated.

Credit/Correction Invoices in the Inter-site Flow

Hi.This is regarding creating credit/correction invoices in the inter-site flow. The scenario is as follows.Site A in company 1 receives customer orders from the external customers. They will raise an internal purchase order for the items to site B in company 2. Site B will directly deliver the items to the end customer. Site A will send the customer invoice to the end customer based on the customer order in site A.Is it possible to automatically create the credit/correction invoice in site B (Production Site) for the internal customer order, if a credit/correction invoice is raised for the external customer order in site A. Or wise versa.

How to add properties to Graphical Position Structure.

Hello,I am going through the HCM training module.  However, I can figure out why I can’t add a property to the in the Graphical Position Structure window. In the demo, there is a button to add a property.  Why would this not be on my instance of IFS Cloud?  See below... Thanks,

Configuration from IEE to IFS Cloud

Hi All, What are the methods or tools that can be used to check the compatibility of the configurations during an upgrade from IEE to the cloud?(Like we are using update analyzer when it is the same version ->21R1 to 21R2)Thank you for your time.

HCM Deviation cycle for recurrent absences

In order to create a recurrent absence for an employee, it is possible to create an Employee Deviation Cycle in IFS standard.In the following example, the employee is absent every friday for “time credit”. The absence results are generated in the time card, but the system still expect job hours booking.But if the employee is absent, he shall not be expected to book any job hours.   Thank you for your help!

Options greyed out for Supplier Offset Proposal

Granted user permissions for the projection, and they are part the Accounts Payable finance user group.  Are there other reasons why all of the potential Matching Methods options below are grayed out?

Generated new absence balances are not showing

Hi, I wanted to amend the annual absence balances for an employee and I generated the absences with the new balances. However, the generated balance is not updated correctly.  The application version is 22R2 SU6. Anyone knows the reason for this? Thanks in Advance.

Error: Field [TAX_BASE_CURR_AMOUNT] is mandatory for source tax item order and requires a value

Following error comes when trying to save Customer Order Line. System only allows to save the Line if Tax Code Column data is null. Can anyone please suggest in this regard?

We must provide your accountant with audit files in French format.Our accountant cannot process the XML format.Is there a TXT format and if so how to implement it?Business Impact:Tax control, very important, very little time to answer to their questions.

Integrated Demand Planner Client don't show data

Hi all, i have a functional demand planner server at 23R2 with some demo data and it accept all kinds of commands.Dashboard also is ok and with running status . The started commands finished without error and are also note in protocoll window.If i start the dialog "Demand Forecast" no data will be visualized and only the "entertainment" ring do his job . Also not after waiting hours any data appear.Do anyone know the issue and a solution or quide to resolve the problem?Thanks for supportAlberto

MWO Maintenance Synch task stay as posted- Sync never complete on mobile

HI All,We are having an issue in Synching MWO maintenance with our IFS cloud (version 23 R1 SU6). The synchronization task is created and its state is always posted. Whenever I open the app on the mobile, the Sync is automatically started and never finishes.The logs has no error messages. All the messages are info only.Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks Jaleel

Cost project transactions on Invoicing Advice

Is it possible to add project transactions Report Code Type = Cost to an Invoicing Advice.Have only been able to make work for Time.If yes, what is setup required that is different than Time?

Cost Return At field on Work Order Requisitions

In Apps 9 there was a field within both Part and No Part Requisition Lines called ‘Cost Return At’. If this value was set to ‘Arrival’, this would create a work order posting when the purchase order created from the requisition was received. I cannot see an equivalent field in Apps 10. Is this functionality available somewhere else? We basically want an entry in the Cost tab of the Work Order Task when a purchase order (created via requisition) is receipted.
