Do you know why a line_code (Expense), when updated, updates the bill cost? In the below example, the labor line code does not update the bill cost.

The only thing that I, believe, might be causing the change is that the Expense line_code has data in the cost_details while Labour does not.

It probably does update but its a multiple of zero, the bill price for the expense seems to be manually priced rather than from non part pricing rule so the user is either entering or maybe its set from a business rule?

Also it might be worth checking business rule 25 which sets out when repricing in general will occur automatically after non_part_usage line updates.

Just in case you want to set your own costs per line code and other criteria you can set this in the non_part_pricing the same as a sales price with criteria.

Below is an example of a one euro default cost applied where line code is not null (so to everything_

The expense line code has always been set up in the non_part_pricing.

The image shown is a list price for selling, the cost can be set in the same way just with slightly different settings.

I don’t think from your screenshot your EXP cost is set here though as it would show in the cost breakdown with a rule number instead of ‘manual’
