In IEE Apps10 - having profile issues. 1st issue - trying to add a Custom Field to base profile and it looks like it is going into the right spot until you hit Apply or OK and it disappears - cannot get it to stick
2nd issue - Estimate screen is overlapping (product screen overlaps where components and operations are added) - once I try to fix - adjust margins - hit OK - the margins fix however the fields below all get scrambled and unusable
For issue 1: Field disappearing after applying a profile change
Check that you are definitely making the change under a base profile and not a personal profile. You will need to switch to a base profile by navigating to Tools<Options<User Profile.
For the 2nd issue - Estimate screen is overlapping
If you find that the custom fields overlap into other tabs, you can associate the field to a tab to stop this. Once in ‘Object properties’ click on the field and choose the ‘Change tab association’ to attach your custom field to a tab. Hope this helps.
