Hi Team,I’m using the Attachment functionality in mobile to capture attachments for ESCALATION table. From the IN_CORRECTIVE _MAINT designer screen by using the Attachment icon of damage photograph field(user_def13), i am saving the data.After choosing an attachment and while the record is saved, the damage photo.user_def13 field stores a negative integer value such as -1, -2, etc., in the DB instead of the Attachment ID. Is there any step to be configured to capture the Attachment ID apart from the above? Can we upload credit limits in a batch to ensure they are up to date in IFS? For example if I can extract a file from our insurers of current limits can these be quickly input into IFS, or do I have to check and update each on individually?

We created a Credit Invoice from a Customer Order Invoice.  It created in the Preliminary Status, but does not give us the option to Print.  Can anyone explain what is causing this?

Hi All,Could you provide exclusion tables for 24R1 when cloning ( Say clone from PRD to UAT/TST).In addition, what is the lead time for IFS to clone an environment from PRD.For example, if I need to clone UAT from PRD and new cloned UAT needs to be ready by today, when should I inform IFS via a support ticket?Is it one week ahead or two weeks or any other time frame?

When looking for an inventory part through the mobile work order, I am getting the below message I used the find part option under the Material section under Work Details,  

We are using IFS cloud version 23R.1.8. Goal to solve: I want to set-up a storage at the production line with the most commonly used materials (eg. screws, bolts, washers). I will use real time consumption to decrease the stock-levels at the production storage. Once the level of material is below a certain point I want to automatically get more material from our main storage. Therefore I have set my eyes on using Kanban Circuits to solve this with signal type Automatic (Reorder Point).Problem:I have successfully created a Kanban Circuit in our test environment (which has production data), activated it and made a replenishment using “Kanban Reorder Point Request”. A Transport Task (TT) of the needed quantity is created automatically, so far so good.My problem is that the reserved articles are not placed on a new TT but on a closed TT from 2020. I have tried different locations and get the same issue, but it varies on which existing TT it places the material on. It never creates a new TT

Hello, We are using matrix structure. We have setup the Position structure as Field Tech > Manager > Sr. Manager. Now in a particular Organization unit, How I can align my position structure so that the Manager should have access to the Field Technicians only assigned to him not all the technician available in Org Unit. Currently, If I set 2 manager over 20 Technician in a Org unit, both 2 have access to all 20.

Hi allI'm working with Linear Assets in IFS Cloud and I can't find the Linear Assets tab in the Work Order.In the MP action when creating using Linear Asset Connection Type this tab is enabled. I expected this behavior in the Work Order.When printing the Work Order, the information on this tab is available.Regards, 

The DOP process completely stops the netting process, if the shop orders for certain sub assemblies already have serial numbers assigned, and if we trying to net from inventory sourced orders.  Does anyone have an idea, on this issue?

I am working with a Customer’s CBP environment on Cloud 23R2. I was able to download the CRM Panel manifest file and upload it on to Outlook.I can see the IFS CRM Panel Add in, however on clicking it - I see the below error: What am I missing from a setup perspective? Appreciate your inputs.

Due to internal network restructuring, the Windows host of our on-premise IFS Apps 10 is going to be having a change of IP address.With the obvious DNS updates catered for already, will changing the IP address of the host affect the running of any of our IFS software? Is there a known recommended safe documented way to do this ensuring that the IFS software doesn’t break?Thanks - Jon

while exporting the resources data, it is getting downloaded in arp format(screenshot below) and when we are opening this arp file, it is not showing in readable form in notepad. Please let me know how to view the data inside the downloaded resource arp file in readable form. PSO version 6.11.0.11 

Hello All;I have a client who is utilizing intersite functionality to direct ship material to an external customer on behalf on another site.  Everything is flowing normally, except when the PO lines have a receive case of “Receive into Arrival, Inspect at Arrival”.   At this point, they do not want to use an alternate receive case.The Direct Delivery is being processed by the intersite flow.   The PO lines are updating to “Closed” status but the Receipt Lines are in “To Be inspected”.  In order to complete the Register Inspection Results the PO Lines have to be manually reopened.   I would not expect the PO Line to close without the Register Inspection Results completed.  Is this the expected behavior?The client is on 22R1.8

Hello,  I would ask you a question. It is possible in Oracle Db updating or deleting data in views? I tried update column in some view, but I got error: “Cannot perform a DML operation on a read only view”. Is there an option to update view not in oracle db, but in IFS cloud app? Exist other options? Thanks

We are using IFS Apps 9. While investigating why we couldn't close certain projects, I discovered that some labor hours are listed as Committed hours in "Activities." Additionally, the associated project transactions are neither approved nor have cost accounting vouchers created, even though they have been invoiced. It appears that only a few of these transactions are non-invoiceable.Can someone clarify what is happening? The time card for the day seems accurate though. How can we avoid this in the future? 

Community, I have a customer order, say 10 lines, all are purchased parts. current supply code is set to “Inventory Order”, MRP will create purchase requisition supply. End user is requesting the purchase requisition created by MRP share the same purchase requisition no, is there a way we could make this happen? Thank you.

I have 2 users getting this error when they use F3. We have cleared the App_data and also cleared cache. It doesn’t go away but happens only once in a while. Hi AllAfter upgrading to IFS10 (Update 15) from IFS9 some of our users that occasionally are getting a hard error when querying the Customer Order screen? I am 99% sure that when we clear the users Personal Profile, it clears the error. The difficulty is users that have years of alterations in this and other areas who do not want their profiles cleared.Has anyone else worked with this issue and may have a solution or workaround?ThanksMikeNote: We haven't managed to get the View Detail script of the error yet.
