material flow from one work center to another

I believe the simplest way is to connect the respective material line with the operation in product structure.

Then you can control the material flow (how the reservations and backflush is done) and the locations that you need the materials to be issued from, via the below highlighted settings in the work center.

our work center has designated location for inbound/outbound floor stock locations, we would like system automatic create transport task to move raw materials from central warehouse to work center inbound locations before the operation starts. the report picking should take place from work center inbound location, would that be possible?

I believe that handling this issue through the standard flow may not be feasible, and it might require a small CRIM to implement a custom solution. However, it would be worth waiting to get input from others as well to ensure we explore all options.
