HIST_REC_LIMIT_MEAS is the maximum number of historical measurement records to be transferred. Customer has set this parameter to 3, so they will only see 3 historical records and that’s fine. But the problem is that on mwo the customer could see the oldest 3 records.  But we believe that seeing the oldest records is not important but seeing the latest 3 records will be more important for the service Engineer. Could you please explain why it has been implemented like this or is it a bug?

Hello, We are using IFS Apps 9 and need to mass update suppliers that haven't been used in the last 10 years. We have around 4000 suppliers that need to be updated. I attempted to update the SUPPLIER_ENT table using an Oracle query to set their expiration dates, but encountered a read-only view error.Could you please advise on which view allows us to update the "Expiration Date" of suppliers? Are there any alternative methods to achieve this aside from using a backend query? Thank you!

Is there a way to limit locations to a single part?Specifically, when a location has been picked to empty, nothing else should be receipted into that location apart from the original part. Is there any way to achieve this in APP9? 

Version Apps 10 update 20 We have a number of users experiencing this and similar errors when trying to access various screens in IFS. We have tried running the clean up scripts and deleting the contents of the 2.0 folder on their user profile but this has not resolved the issue. I have logged into IFS with their accounts on my PC and everything works correctly, but when I log onto their PC with my IFS account I also experience the same errors. Some of the errors include:Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.ArgumentException: Unknown form template class: tbwMaterialAlloc. Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Interfaces.FndFeatureNotFoundException: Navigation target i_hWndFrame is not to be found in the dictionaryThe current work around is for users to connect to a terminal server and run IFS from there.Has anyone else experienced this problem on screens including Shop Order

Hello,I’m encountering an issue where some users can view attachments without any problems, while others don’t even see the “eye icon” as an option. I’ve been investigating the cause but haven’t had any success so far. Could this be related to a missing projection, or might there be another issue at play? This is an example of the eye icon appearing.This is an example of the eye icon not appearing.

Dear Community,At a PSO instance 6.9.0.18 which is hosted by IFS Cloud Services connected to an IFS Cloud environment (23R2) also hosted by IFS Cloud Services.The Scheduling Optimization Configuration is successful with the “4 blue OK messages” when saving. Also when Testing, the response is within 2 seconds “Connection successful”.When sending a dataset, the background job is OK, and when looking at the Application Message created, that status is "Released”. There is an Input Message Data XML which is the LOAD XML and looks fine to me. But there is not Output Message Data XML.When looking at the PSO in the Event Log, we don't see any action here… I am an admin, I have full permission in both Cloud as PSO. Does anybody has any ideas where to investigate, push or fix stuff? Application Message: PSO Event Log: 

We are currently using IFS Apps 9 and operate from two physical locations, which we’ll refer to as Location A and Location B. However, we have only defined one site in IFS.At present, our shipment delivery notes are set to print automatically at Location A by default. Since we have recently started shipping from Location B, we need a solution to ensure that delivery notes are printed at the correct location based on where the shipment originates.As it stands, the system does not distinguish between Location A and Location B. Could you please advise on how we can configure the system to print delivery notes at the appropriate location?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello All,I am encountering an issue with duplicate data in the Resource Analysis screen. For a given week, both PM Actions and Work Tasks are displayed. However, I have noticed that some PM Actions are appearing even after they’ve been converted into Work Tasks, leading to resource demand being counted in both sections. This results in a doubled demand for that week.Ex- PM Action 3665 is listed in the orange color list as shown below.The Work Task generated from the above PM Action 3665 is also listed in Work Task list in yellow color. Does anyone have insights into the potential cause of this? After upgrading from 23R1 to 23R2 SU8 our FTP routing rule to an external vendor no longer works. Application messages is showing an error message “No valid routing rule found” The routing rule does not look like it’s changed and it’s been working for a long time.I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the server now requiring https. Could that have changed the known hosts file?   

Where can I find documentation for the PSO API(s)? I’ve looked around the PSO help information, but I don’t see anything about what API(s) are available, and how they can be used.

Every once in a while, we see a random/erroneous “clock in” on an employees interval tab in the Time Card Day with an In Reg Type of “Automatic”. Typically, when the employee clocks in or out, the In Reg Type is “Terminal”, and shows up on the Clocking tab as well. Where is this Automatic punch coming from; how/why? 

We need to create around 100 fixed assets in our current version of IFS (App10). These are transitioned from a different ERP and are partially depreciated.Is there any impart function for creating fixed asset objects? Once the asset objects are created, we can use a manual journal voucher to set up the values.What is the best practice for loading partially depreciated or amortized assets. There is a remaining value/remaining months depreciation method which looks promising

Can you create a count report to count a range of parts instead of creating a count report for one part at a time in Cloud?

Hello,Through several rounds of system performance health checks with our FSM6 (u25) instance, a recommendation was made to perform a daily restart of IIS on our web and application servers in the early morning hours (e.g. 4am).  This practice however has become unreliable and often fails resulting in a scramble when users start their day and are met with an unresponsive system.  I’m looking for any suggestions on how this is being done by others and if there are any thoughts on scheduling a server restart instead of just IIS as we would be able to put better measures in place to ensure the server actually restarts with little human intervention.Thanks,Richard

Hi, I have been trying to post a cancellation records in an external customer payment, with the intention of cancelling an existing Mixed Payment which is already in IFS. I am using a customized template created from the MT940 standard template. However, I am not sure how to use the cancellation record type 4_CANCEL to use successfully to cancel an existing mixed payment. The available fields under the record 4_CANCEL in the external file template are as follows:  As per my understanding none of these can be used to map against an existing approved mixed payment and actually cancel it, rollback the payment. I kindly request to provide some insights om:The purpose of the record 4_CANCEL Is it possible to cancel existing mixed payments using this record type? If possible, what would a functioning sample would look likeThe template I have configured so far looks as follows: I greatly appreciate your support, advice and insights in this matter!
