Hello, Is it correct that nothing appears if I click on ‘Travel Details’? Is there some parameter to be set?In addition: Using Google Maps distance between activity is: I’m using HTM, but I think something is wrong. Could someone Help Me?

In the previous version of IFS cloud (23R1 for sure), there was the possibility to add a picture to resource icon on dispatch console, under the person page. I can see only the fist letter of name and surname. (T0)Do you have any suggestions?  

Hi Community, I have a question on the different behaviour in Apps9 v IFS Cloud when creating a new document. In apps9, if you create a new record from Document Revision, when you hit the Edit button, the application launches a dialog that prompts for the file type, once selected the associated program is launched. I dont seem to see the same behavour in IFS Cloud (23R2), can anyone confirm that this previous functionality is now depreciated and if so what is the work around, and if not, how do you create the same functionality in Cloud. To add some context, in the above scenario, if WORD file type was selected, a macro would run and populate the newly created document with the IFS properties, allowing them to be inserted (and therefore updated dynamically) going forward. Thanks in advance.David.  

Hi all, Many of our users are complaining that the search fields are disappearing when re-loading the pages in IFS Cloud. We have already tried having them save & properly log out and log back in, but the search fields keep reverting back to the default ones and not the user selected ones.Is there a way to force the fields to save other then that? We are not looking to customize those search fields for all users, just having the user defined ones save. It’s odd because sometimes they “stick” and other times they revert back.  

HiWhen we do an Engineering Revision Transfer our manufacturing site complain that data in the product structure is being overwritten.They have entered data in column “Consumption Item”. Some parts they have set as “Consumed” and some parts in the same structure have been set as “Not Consumed”.However, when we do the transfer, all parts are changed to “Consumed” which is quite annoying.Also data as Scrap factor and Reserve/Issue from Loc are being overwritten.Can anybody tell me how we can prevent this overwriting of data?Best regardsTove Virkelyst

Is there any option to hide the BO record, or hide the name of the customer and Description to keep the record confidential?Ex: We have CRM Group ABC. In this group we have:Rep 1Rep 2Rep 3Rep 4Rep 5When Rep 1 creates opportunity everybody in ABC Group can see this opportunity.Is there any option to hide this opportunity as this is confidential? Only Rep 1 + CEO/Line Manager should be able to find this opportunity in the system. I tried to set it up using CRM Access IFS Online Documentation, but something may be missing.

Hi All,We have an issue with mobile work order in Apps 9 not send workorders back to IEE.All the transactions can be seen on the Sync monitor transactions screen in the waiting state, also the sync monitor status screen is showing an error “The page was not displayed because the request entity is too large”.The issue isn’t affecting all user it seems to be fairly random.Any help would be appreciated. Mark

We are using MWO in IFSAPP10.  Still in UPD13 but using the UPD23 mobile app.We get the below error in mobile transactions when completing a work task in mobile and sent back.The reason according to the sync traces is that one of the queries has IFSAPP prefixed as below.SELECT OBJID, OBJVERSION FROM ifsapp.(SELECT objkey AS objid, '1' AS objversion, entity.* FROM MAINT_ENG_APP_REPORT_IN_VIRTUAL_VRT entity) a1The issue happens in the production environment for all users but doesn’t have a pattern. Seems intermittent.This is working fine in our in-house TEST environment where the IFSAPP prefix is not set.  The app version and updates are same in both environments. Any help on this is appreciated Below is from TEST environment where you don't see the ifsapp prefix.  

I have a client needing to attach new documents to various objects.  Some documents are drawings and need to have the same document number as the Drawing Number and Revision they are attaching.  I have changed the default for the New Document in the Attachment Panel to utilize the Create Document Assistant so Document Numbers and Revisions can be added. If the Object the Document is being attached to, using the New Document, is not set up in the Quick Object Connect table, the document does not get connected to the Object. Is this a Bug? If I add the Object to the Quick Object Connect table, it will automatically be connected.Is there a setting to automatically have the Object connected when using the Create Document Assistant in the New Document Attachment Panel?  We have almost two hundred Objects that have the DocReferenceObject set up with the ability attach a document directly.If I add all of these Object to the Quick Object Connect, they will all show up on the Create Document As

Does IFS Document Management support attachment parsing for text documents WORD or PDF? basically the system to be able in examining the data present in a document like keywords and other text to make it available for SEARCH ? If this capability is not available ? are we going to include it as a model in Copilot for future releases?  is this on the Roadmap?

Hi all, I would need to change every document that is uploaded into the IFS environment so they would have restricted access. I have managed to find an option that will change one selected document (also an option that effects newly imported documents), but I would need to change every single one which is already uploaded. When I try to edit documents in document revisions I do not see such an option in editing window, is something like this possible? Or is the only way to do it a migration job? Thanks for your help. 

Hello, I am trying to process a supplier invoice to a fixed asset object that is active. Can you explain the process to me please? I’ve sorted this problem by adding a new object and linking it back to the original fixed asset. Now I need to know if I have to back out the supplier invoice to change the object ID or can I change it where the erroneous error occurs? 

Hi!Last year we upgraded to IFS 10 UPD 14. I have been tasked with getting all our miscellaneous data transfers to go through Connect and to make use of the Rest API functionality as mush as possible. I signed up for the “RESTful API Integration Development - IFS Applications 10” session and I’m working through that.  But I have found that my 2009 IFS Dev training is rusty and out of date.  What are some other dev trainings that might be useful for me in this effort.  Thanks~Dan 

Is there a way to view the total cost of a PO line upon receipt which will include the PO line price and cost of any supplier material for that line?

The issue of splitting subcontract entries at the manual supplier level. We need to address this problem promptly and resolve the Issue please help. 

Hello everyone. The IFS standard way of getting the information for the intrastat reporting is to retrieve the data (including the statistical data, amounts...) from the orders ; customer orders and purchase orders. Two clients of us told us the legal requirement was that the report should be based on invoiced articles (and not ordered ones). Did you encounter this question? If so, did you manage to find a workaround? Kind regards,Sara

We have a problem.A customer paid  invoices in EUR , but the invoice had a different currency issued.  When the invoice was closed, the exchange rate difference was booked as a CUPOA. How do we close the CUPOA and book the amount as a gain / loss ?

Good afternoon, We issued checks in July and, because they weren’t cashed, they showed on the Bank rec as unmatched (printed on Jul 31).Today we needed to void 70141 and 70186, but when we went back to July reconciliation they don’t show on the list anymore. Is that expected behavior? I thought they would still be visible in July rec because at that time they were in Cashed status. We are doing bank reconciliation following below steps, are we missing something?Thanks,Cora

Dear Colleagues,maybe you’ve encountered similar issue and will be able to explain such a behaviour of the system IFS10 EE. When matching invoice with return for credit transactions system displays an error of wrong requirements for a delivery account (95%00). The issue is that one of code string value is missing - in our company it’s a mandatory Cost Type. After checking the return transactions (NRETCREDIT) in Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis it turns out that Cost Type is present in all of them and they are transferred without errors. However, Cost Type was missing in the original transactions of arrival (ARR-NONINV).   Error does not occur if original transactions have Cost Type and invoice is matched with return for credit transactions without problems, acquiring all necessary code string code part values.  For me such a behaviour is confusing as correction invoices refer to return transactions not original ones.
