I was looking to move our default storage repositoryfrom Database → File storagein an IFS cloud hosted environment  this to save space in our database. Is there a clear overview of what the GAP is between the two repository types? Report rules only work in database?  Can you just move files after a certain period (eg. 1 month) from database → FSS storage? So basically why would one use the database storage repository type and what are the implications of migrating from one repository type to another? Thanks!@Mathias Dahl  (so this storage type: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/030_a

Does anyone know why in IFS Cloud (23R2) it is no longer possible to use the Type Code “Purchased (raw)” for configured parts? The error message is attached.In Apps10 it was possible. Also existing configured parts with Purchased (raw) are being processed without issues in IFS Cloud. We have several distribution companies which order the CTO parts from out manufacturing main company using the inter company purchase order. No issue there.Any insight into this would be highly appreciated.Thank you in advance!Catherine

Hi,I want to perform cyclic scheduling for certain activities in IFS Cloud.While setting up the scheduling dataset, I can see cyclic value in the process type of the input reference. However, the scheduling document states that it is not supported in the current version, and I am also unable to find the fields related to RAM_Modelling_Pattern.Which version of IFS Cloud supports cyclic scheduling?or Is there any way I can perform cyclic scheduling? For example, I want to deliver materials to customers based on cycles. How can I create an activity for a customer, assign it to the same resource for all cycles, and ensure the materials are delivered.

Hi Community We use serial tracked part rentals. When we have a, say, a large PO, we need to manually enter quantity 1 for each line. That's a lot of work. Is there an easy way to automate this?  Thanks,Asela

Hello, we are on Apps10, update 20 using IEE and we are starting to test applications with Windows 11 23H2.  We are unable to use SSO right now so we use DB authentication.  One difference I noticed is that the logon dialog no longer displays the password reveal icon (eye) on my windows 11 machine.Has anyone else noticed this or can someone explain what might be causing that? Thanks,Mary

I can’t seem to save every Business Mail as I want to. Basic emails that I send from CRM Panels work fine. The Mail Body’s save fine such as this:  However, more complicated emails get turned into HTML in the Mail Body in IFS. How can I view these more complicated emails in IFS? Here are my CRM Default Values: 

Hi, In App9 we had Lobby Element that used Multi Series in Line Chart. It seems that Multi Series does not work in Cloud any more (we are on 23R2).Here you can see how it looked in App9 and i Cloud. I’ve created a simple example. Can anybody help me? What do I do wrong? Or is it Bug?The Split on column does not work properly. Any idea why?   

Hi, This is related to error when generating absence for people who has change of position/assignment. Context: Take this example - Employee E103111 has change of position multiple times within the company but his employment start date is 15/12/2022. See below screenshot:  What the HR person normally do to fix this is to temporarily change the latest assignment of a person to match with the person employment start date. Which is super inconvenient for them.This thing has been an unproductive issue for a long time, but we do not know

Hi all, We upgraded touch apps server from 10.10.301  to 10.20.497 . after upgrade i could access admin portal of touch apps(with new upgraded version). but unable to login IFS AURENA scanit 10 client device ,it showed below error every time when we tried to loginw3wp.exe Error: 0 : ERROR_PROGATED_SYSTEM_EXCEPTION:Stream was not readable.what can be the reason? Hi Expertise, I'm currently experiencing an issue with one of our internal environments where the MWO app is displaying an error message upon access.So far, I have:Reinstalled the Touch App service. Checked for any disk utilization issues on the hosted servers. Hi All, i’m not sure what is exactly going on here so I thought to see if anyone has a suggestion on what is happening. Situation:We have Service Contract ‘8’ I added a couple of Service Lines Each service lines is associated with some Objects through the Scope tab Service Line ‘3’ has 1 object using the ‘Use Line on Structure’ option enabled (see printscreen - I also added a shot of the Eq Obj Navigator so you can see what objects are included in the structure of Object RTI250115-001) NBow I go to my PM Actions. I already created 3 PM actions for 3 objects belonging to that tree structure (Object Id’s ending in -003 / -004 /-006). Now I also want to create a PM action for Object -006 connected to Service Line 2 but this seems impossible. IFS will not

I’ve setup Purchase Order Authorization rules. Rules are Released. The rule is wide open so all of the “Apply Regardless..” are checked. The Min on the rule is set to $500,000I have a Supplier Agreement of type Blanket Purchase Order. I go and Create Supplier Agreement Release, and create a release for a PO value of $750,000. The PO goes directly to a Released status, and it does not trigger the authorization rule. Why?Why would a Blanket Release not trigger the Purchase Order Authorization rule when the value is clearly above the minimum of the PO rule?IFSAPP10, UPD6

Hello,I just learned that the action for "Execute Online SQL" events will be removed in the next versions of IFS Cloud.In relation to this, I have 2 questions: - For all the events already created for our customers in IFS Cloud, how will this happen? We will have to abandon our actions already created? - For our customers in APPS10, we have a lot of EVENTS. How will the migration from APPS10 to Cloud happen?Thank you in advance. 

Hello,We are currently adding business leads into our IFS Cloud environment with an API call via POST method calls to /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/BusinessLeadHandling.svc/BusinessLeads. Our request body is a standard payload but when we have an existing account with a non existing contact, we get the following error ‘"IssuePayload: Error(s) issuing request: 1: Resource already modified.. 2: ORA-20114: BusinessLead.FND_MODIFIED: The Lead record has already been changed. Please refresh the record and reenter your changes."’ I believe this is due to IFS automatically creating a person and adding the person as a customer contact to the existing account before the transaction completes.Is there a way around this? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.Best,Bryan

Hi All, How do you normally access IALs in IFS Cloud 24R1 Production environment from outside IFS for Data Warehouse or Data Lake requirements.I assume you use IFSINFO - ReadOnly user to access database directly but I would like to know your experience on this.

Hello Everyone,We are on Apps 10 Upd 15 and getting ready to migrate over to using Aurena.  We may be some updates behind so maybe this as already been resolved. However, in IEE, when you did a Custom Menu there was a “Condition” section where you could specify under what conditions a RMB was enabled.   Is that functionality in Aurena?  When I add a Navigation Link and then click on the Navigation Link there are other options such as Binding and check boxes labeled Visible and Enabled.  None of which seem to allow for any type of conditions when checked. Our use case for this is on the Inventory Transaction History Form where SourceRef1 could be used for Customer Orders, Purchase Orders and Shop Orders.  So we would only have those enabled with the SourceRefType matched to the corresponding RMBs we created. Thanks,Derek Hansen

Hi Team,I have Set MWM_SERVER_TIME_ZONE_ID in Scheduling APP Param as “UTC”When i tried to create Non availability and Tasks towards PSO, its not showing correct time zone in PSO.Iam having Resources in different Time zone PST, MST, EST & CST.example: I have set Non Availablity in FSM for PST resources for 10:00 to 13:00. Person Place time zone is PST. In PSO:  Its Showing as 07:00 Am to 10:00AM, which is 3hrs before the Non availability assigned in FSM. This issue is happening for all the different time zone too.. May i know how FSM is updating the Time zone to PSO & How to solve the above issue. Regards,Rehaan

I am Accounts Payable Supervisor, we are processing a 100 expenses sheets weekly to reimburse our employees. It will take my AP team member around 6 hours one day a week.We are using IFS-Clouds. Is there a way to automate the process? Realy, appreciate any feedback, I have some idea already, however like to hear if anyone automated the process.One of my idea, is to create a internal file to upload to General ledger. I did not test yet, I am in the process to do so. Meanwhile , just looking for other options.
