I try to create a count report for a warehouse in IFS Apps. 10 and have got the Warning message below
No data found for entered search criteria. Count Report not created.
There are inventory parts in the warehouse so the Count Report is expected to be created.
Kind Regards, Svitlana

In the Inventory Parts in Stock page, what is shown in the Latest Count Date field for records you expect to be on a count report?
The latest Count date is the 1st of April 2025 and I would expect at least a couple of parts to be on the Count report at this point in time.
What are the Cycle Counting Interval and Flags are the parts set to? Just because you have parts in stock doesn’t automatically create a Count Report. The Count is generated on a number of parameters; Cycle Counting Interval and Flags being one of them, Maybe they’re not due to be counted again yet if they’ve only just been counted….
The cycle counting interval is set to 21 days and the check box Cycle Counting is ticked.

Hi @SXPSVITLANAK,
If the latest count date(T) is April 1st, 2025, and the cycle counting interval(C) is set to 21 days, then a count report cannot be created until April 22nd. Could you please confirm whether you are trying to create the count report within this period or after April 22nd?
In addition, please check whether a count report has already been created and is not yet confirmed.
The error you are referring “No data found for entered search criteria. Count Report not created.” is triggered in the background job when attempting to create a count report within the period between the “last count date” (T) and the “last count date + cycle counting interval” (T+C).
You can test the logic I mentioned above by setting the cycle interval to 0, which will allow you to perform cycle counts today itself.
Please refer to the attached document for more details on the mentioned error and its resolution.
If the above information resolves your question, please mark it as the best answer so that it can help others as well.
There were a number of attempts to create a count report today and the same message is displayed every time it run.
The Count report is created for other warehouses with a similar setup and containing the same parts.
Best regards, Svitlana
How many Locations do you have? How many records to be printed are on the report? Do you have enough/too many? Are your parameters set such that you’ve already counted the parts you need to according to your ‘rules’?
My sense check calc is this...
My ‘go to’ on the theory is this…
Hi Linda,
It seems we have got too many warehouses and location where different quantities of the same part are stored.
Thank you for the hint.
Svitlana
Hi,
Maybe there is a count report created already for the warehouse that is not finalized. If so, you could try to complete counting and approve of that report, or cancel the count report and try again.
