Is there a way or method to record the number of hours an operator worked in a production floor environment that was not actually clocked in to shop order.

Yes you can clock their time on indirect jobs instead of shop orders.

Thank you for the quick response. We have no experience using indirect jobs. We report operator’s labor hours anonymously. Can we still use indirect jobs to report hours anonymously?

No, indirect jobs needs to be reported per employee ID. You can also clock employees into teams and then report indirect time on teams which in turn will report the hours in the individual employees in the team.

Can this be done anonymously. Our purpose is simply to capture the hours of a group of operators (varying quantity) and use them for reporting purposes.

No, indirect hours are reported for an employee or team.

Can you modify the indirect job the employee is clocking to?  The RMB modify only allows us to modify the time, crew, cause and clocking note but not the job ID.  Oftentimes, our employees clock indirect time into the wrong ID.  Example, they selected the cleaning job ID instead of the training job ID.  Thank you!

@mpmhoco Unfortunately not. You would have to cancel that clocking and manually add a new one with the correct indirect job
