Hello Everybody,I have a Custom LU with the related Custom View.The Custom View is a Custom Tab in Customer.In the Custom LU there is a Custom Field named “CF$_STATUS”. Is it possible to show in the View ONLY the rows with CF$_STATUS = ‘Active’ by default ?IEE App 10 Update 17Thanks.

In an effort to re-create and configure a page (for which it’s entity will not allow custom attributes), I’ve pursued creating a custom entity and custom attributes within the new entity to re-create the page + other fields. An SQL quickreport (read-only) with all the fields (custom or otherwise) that we need would work, but QRs don’t allow the use of page designer features like commandgroups.However, when creating an entity I’m running into a limitation where a persistent field is required for a custom entity. I just need it to be read only. Is there any workaround? We are on Cloud 24R1 currently.While an option, our business wishes to avoid modifications where possible, such as adding fields via Projection Fragments in the Cust layer in Developer Studio to the standard projection.

I know I’ve seen this before but I can’t find it under the normal spots that I was looking. I’m trying to find the service update documentation on what is fixed with each patch and it’s normally in an excel file. Can someone link me the post in the resources? Everything that I can find is not the file that I’m looking for. I’m trying to evaluate what the service updates are fixing. I’m specifically looking for 24R1 as well.

While closing the accounting period, system is showing error as “Transactions waiting to be transferred from Distribution and/or Manufacturing”There are no transactions pending to transferred in Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis Screen Also checked Inventory Transactions History screen to check for any Erroneous Postings but there are also no transactions

Is there an out of the box function to determine which customer order lines have had the promise date reviewed prior to confirming back to the customer? Our current process:Customer service enters customer order line. By default, the promise date is initially set the same as the Planned Delivery Date. Planning reviews the order line and revises the Target, Planned Delivery, and Promise Dates as needed. Customer service sends order confirmation back to the customer. Planning needs to be able to query for order lines that haven’t been reviewed/promised. I’m considering adding a custom checkbox to indicate the order has been promised but want to verify if there’s a standard process for this.  Thanks!Eric

I need some advice from a production schedule guru. I am running a production schedule and midstream, I want to change a component in the structure and then keep running the production schedule.  The component is a lot controlled item.  Any ideas as to how best do this?  I know I can edit components midstream but I need to do a report against the production schedule to allow this.  Also, I am swapping one lot controlled component to another component.Any guidance you may have will be appreciated!

HelloSource project start 01/04/2025 and early finish 01/06/2025With new project I use this existing project BUT with Planned start 01/04/2025 and PLANNED FINISH at 01/09/2025  using “Copy based on Early Start/ Early finish” the enterered planned finish 01/09/2025 is not taken into account and calculates 13/06/2025 17:00 as Planned Finish. What is the process of this calculation ?

After creating a new script for mobile. When a user decides to Restore Defaults (within the Column Chooser), what defaults does it restore to?  Does is use a system defined default or does it default to the settings of the context to which the user is assigned?Thanks /PatrickP:S. We have some parts where we have to pay the supplier an excise tax fee.  We typically purchase a part in a UOM of an Each with a purchase UOM of a Pound, and then we have an inventory conversion rate to get it to the Inventory UOM of a Pound.  The purchase charge is a rate at a per Pound unit charge.  I don’t know if something changed when we updated to version 24R1, but some charges I had set up before are showing the charge amount as a Unit Charge in a pound Price UOM.  I am now seeing where I added some recent charges, and the UOM is pulling in as an Each.  It does not look like I am able to update the UOM.  Where does the UOM for the Charge rate pull from and is there a way to change that?

Hello, we want to add a planning item as Work Task in project deliverables (Engineering-->Project Deliverables-->Plan and Execute-->Project Deliverables Navigator-->Project Deliverables Design). It is not possible as you can see in the following screenshot:  Error Work TaskWe are able to add the other executions types without any problems. We added and checked the Basic Data for Work Task and Work orders without any success. Could somebody get us a hint why this is not possible in this installation? Hello IFS Community, Looking for any customers who is successfully managing changes on intercompany purchase order direct orders.  Process is  Create customer order for external customer.Enter customer order line with supply option int purchase direct where supplier is setup as inter-site supplier in IFS Release customer order which auto generates the intercompany purchase order. Release the intercompany PO. The above process is fine if we don’t need to make change but we live in the real world where changes can happen through human error or parts in stock are not available or faulty.  If we attempt to correct the errors or shortfall of stock by adding a new customer order line on the external customer order.   IFS will auto generate and create a new internal purchase direct order for each change rather than allowing the changes be added on same internal purchase o

Hi,If selecting 100 records of Shop Order Requestion and trying to create shop orders. You may get an error message if something is wrong, listing every requestion and message like: No Buildable Structure, No Operation, No allocation etc...If Pressing OK the shop order creation prcosses is stopped and you have to walkthorugh every shoporder requestions to exclude any faulty requestions. In APP9 you could easally continue the shop order creation process, and later take care of the requestions not generated into shop orders .Should it be like this?Can you propose any other sutaible approach to create shop orders from shop order requestions?  

Hi,When attaching a zip file, the system sometimes creates two files: "ORIGINAL" and "VIEW" in the "FILE REFS" tab in the document revision:The parameterization looks like this:A duplicate entry is visible in the edm_file_tab table. Does anyone know why the system creates "ORIGINAL" in most, and sometimes ‘ORIGINAL’ and ‘VIEW’?Best regards

Hi all, is it possible, to translate a Navigator node entry?After adding a custom page as an Navigator entry it is saved in english (User language = en). After access with same user in german (User language = de) the Navigator entry is still in english and not in german.The view on the right side is translated correctly, the Navigator entry not.Is there any other way than using two basic profiles (de, en) to make the right setting/translation?Looking forward for a feedback.Br,Jan

 HiWe will like to exclude “Estimated Material Cost (From Inventory Part) in the calculation of cost set 3 - Latest Purchase Price.(IFS is fetching Estimated Material Cost,  if Latest Purchase Price is 0). The function in “Copy Estimated Material Cost from Inventory Part” does not seems to have any effect to this.Any help in this matter is highly appreciated.   Kind Regards Brian                       

Dear all,Is there any way for Transport Tasks with order type Kanban Card never to be mixed with other Transport Tasks (e.g. order type = Shop Order) ?For example, is there any way that when the Kanban Circuit is active and the Kanban Transport Task is created, couldn't teh Transpor Task be fixed?

Hi,When creating a new Work Task in Service Management, it’s selected the option “Create from Standard Task” by default. If I select “New Work Task” and again “Create from Standard Task” the list of standard tasks is duplicated.This is a test case:After select “New” in Request Work Task, I have 2 standard task in the list: I select “New Work Task”:   Select again “Create from Standard Task”: The list is increasing if i do it several times.Thanks in advance.Irene
