Hello, my company has been using a shared repository for docman since they went live on IFS.  I am in the process of transferring the doc repositories to database storage to prepare for the Cloud upgrade. The business would like to block users from creating new docs in certain doc classes.  They would still like the ability to view them. I tried removing Admin and Edit access from the access group in this doc class TEST but a user who is not a docman administrator was still able to create a new doc, I think because by default the doc creator is an admin. Is there a way to block new doc creation by class? or do we have to use custom events to do that?Mary

We are using Entra as SSO to IFS MWO. When a user presses the button ‘log-in using Entra’, the UPN/email is not automatically populated. This causes the login experience to be very cumbersome. All devices that use MWO are enrolled in Intune.Is there anyone that have encountered and/or solved this issue?

One of our Customer would like to implement an interface with Docusign. Seems that we have some available API like CDocusignSignerEntity. Is this standard and if yes, do we have some use case and example ?

We are experiencing approximately 5,656 SFTP connection attempts daily from IFS application to an external sftp server (AccessPay). The SFTP connection is always enabled and configured for bank reconciliations.Is this level of connection frequency typical for IFS Cloud environments? Is it normal for IFS Connect Reader to continuously connect to an external SFTP server to read files?

Hi All, We can create a BACS file (BACS.DAT) from ‘Supplier Payment Proposals’ screen.My question is, how to configure the application where BACS.DAT file is copied to a ftp location.Is there any specific screen in IFS where we can configure this?  

We received a weighted average costed part with a Supplier Invoice Consideration that is Transaction Based.  The wrong price was on the original PO and we sold the parts to a customer.  The Detailed Statistics screen is showing the sale price with the wrong cost field.  The PO cost was updated and the supplier invoice was posted and processed to reflect the change in price.  On the Inventory Transaction page, we can see the change in the costs and the appropriate accounting entries to reflect the change in the Cost of Good Sold account.  However, we run the Detailed Statistics nightly, and the invoice in question, has not had the cost updated as reflected in the journal entry.  Is there something we can do to update the Detail Statistics - Invoiced Sales data.  We export this data into a Power BI data warehouse to run reports and this one is not reflected correctly.

Hi, Im using ifs.application.reportingservices.impl.extendedformatter.xslplugin.XSLPlugin plugin in cloud to change the formatting of an existing report using a rpl. But Im not sure what is the xml should be feed into this rpl. Hi,I’m planning to import App10 saved searches of the users into IFS cloud instance. As the formats are different in two versions, I want to de serialize the saved search conditions saved in the fndrr_client_profile_value of the app 10 database. They are currently serialized in to the xml tag <SERIALIZED_CONDITION>.Is there a way to de serialize and view these saved searches? I tried few options but nothing worked.ThanksRoshanga

I have a Global Code that has the code value and description. I want to be able to display both the code value and description. I understand I can have 2 initiative ID fields, 1 display the code value while the other displays the description, but how would the initiative description be written to the database?Is there a way to have a field populated based on a drop down in UI Designer? 

Is there an easy way to add all components from a manufacturing product structure to the produced parts of a disassembly one (same FG)? We are trying to disassemble a finish good completely into its components. The problem is that its has 80 components. Manually creating each disassembly component is pretty tedious. I tried to copy the rows over to the produced parts table from components; the items filled in but not the quantities and it wouldn’t let me save.

Hi,I found when trying to publish an imported custom projection (from ACP or item)  it gives an error when all the required other configurations in place.  This is in 24R2 3“Database error occurred. Contact administrator.Error details: [{"code":4050,"message":"ORA-04050: invalid or missing procedure, function, or package name"}] “.When looking into further it is found that entry is not getting added into the table custom_projection_tab when importing hence it fails when publishing.Any workaround for this? Thanks,Best Regards,Methshika    

Problem:When you make a API GET, you might want to filter on a nested entity. When you do this with the camunda engine, you are just unable to. In my opinion it seems only logical to be able to use the filter, but it stays empty. Solution:Make it available. Doesn't seem like an out of the box enhancement, more of a design flaw honestly.

Hi IFS Community,I am exploring a way to automate procurement of component parts linked to a parent part when Order Point Planning (OPP) triggers a Purchase Requisition (PR) for the parent.Example Scenario:A parent part "Wheel" has a BOM with components like "Tire", "Rim", etc.When OPP triggers a PR for the "Wheel" (due to reaching its order point), I need the system to automatically generate PRs for its components (Tires, Rims) as well.Thanks in advance.

Hi,On Apps10 Enterprise Edition is it possible to auto-populate a custom field based upon what is inputted to another custom field?In the same way that when a customer ID is selected in the Project screen, the Customer Name is then auto-filled immediately (see below).I have a custom field that is a lookup; when it is clicked into by the user it brings up a lookup that searches for part numbers. When a part number is selected I want a second custom field to be populated with the default location of that part.Is this possible? I don’t think it is, only built-in IFS fields can do this but I want to confirm.Thanks you,  

is it possible to create a lobby to show missing timesheets, based on work hours and timesheets raised in period in IFS Cloud?

I am currently in the midst of testing the IFS Cloud IFS Connect Reader using SFTP. While I have conducted several successful tests with the known host file, I have encountered an issue when using the private key-public key pair. I am unsure whether this is a bug in the application or if someone has successfully used the private key to read an SFTP location via the IFSCloud Connect Reader. I would greatly appreciate any insights or comments on this matter.

Hello,We are on 24R1 and I enabled an object connection of EcoActionObjectConn and EcrObjectConn on the RoutingHead and DocIssue logical units. I’ve refreshed the object connection cache but when I go to the Change Request screen and into the object connection tab, I do see the RoutingHead LU but it does not seem to be pulling in a default drop down list of object keys. it’s the same story with the DocIssue LU.Is there a reason for this? It seems to work with the EngPartRevision LU. See image below.I just hope to get a better understanding if there’s something I potentially missed or if this is some sort of bug. Thank you.

Hi, I am currently having trouble with shortage handling in IFS Cloud. I’m trying to get the shortage notification to appear when I place a Customer Order in the scenario where there is no stock available to fulfill the order. I have enabled the Shortage Notification toggle on the Inventory Part and the Shortage Handling toggle on the Parameters for Supply Chain and Manufacturing page. I have checked to make sure there was no quantity on hand and also see the orders with shortages on the Handle Customer Order Shortages page. Is there anything I’m missing for this message to appear? Any help is appreciated!

Hello All, I have a question regarding the Supply Chain/Invoicing system in IFS that I cannot seem to find a solution for. A customer of ours has setup an online market place that they want us to start using to “shop” for better prices on component parts we buy for their products. Right now, we’re using IFS to generate PORs → POs → Arrival → Invoicing to satisfy demand and stock the components. However, they want us to be generation POs and invoices on their market place. I don’t see a way in IFS that this solution could be accomplished, as we would still have to generate a PO in our system and receive the stock in. We still need MRP to keep track of when we need parts. I had thought about putting in a $0 purchase order, but that would create a financial variance then that would need reconciled. I don’t believe this is something that could be addressed using VMI either. Not sure if anyone has come across this scenario before, but wanted to ask the community. Thank you!
