Hi Experts,I have a basic question regarding generating Excel file output from IFS Cloud table data.We’ve already developed a customization that writes the table data into a CSV file using a CLOB and the Plsqlap_Server_API.Post_Outbound_Message method.Now, there’s a new requirement to generate the output in Excel (.xlsx) format instead of CSV. Since I’m still new to IFS Cloud framework and integrations, I’d like to check whether this is achievable through a customization or if there’s a standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) way to handle this.Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

We’re working with a client in the Medical Equipment Industry who need Quality Management in their solution. However with Control Plans, this requires us to define in the Acceptance Sampling Parameters which ISO Standards are to be used.There are 3 predefined as values within the system:ISO 2859-3:2005, ISO 2859-1:1999, ISO 3951-2:2013However the client insists that they also use ISO 13485:2016, but we can find no way of including this can anyone suggest a way in which we can get this added?

I am trying to create a report to show the number of activities that are being manually committed to resources compared to activities that are auto scheduled by PSO but am struggling to locate the table and field in the Schedule Archiving Service. On the front end of the system, this audit appears in the Activity History section as shown below.  Would anyone know where I could find this information please to report on?

We have raw materials that are used for multiple customers. When we qualify a new supplier our customers have to approve those suppliers which can take 3-6 months. Is there standard functionality that can prevent a raw material item from being used for a specific finished good item but allow it to continue being used for a different finished good? All our finished goods are unique custom part numbers. Example:Raw material part # 123 is used in end customer items #456 & #789. I am qualifying a new supplier for part #123. The customer for #456 has approved the supplier but the customer for #789 has not.  I realize I can have all that raw material from the new supplier come into inspect and have availability controls but I am trying to avoid having to manually release it every time for the customer who has approved it or creating new part numbers. I just want the system to not allow us to consume it for item #789.

Hello everyone,In PSO, we have two different datasets: one running on IFS Cloud and the other on the ARP file. We have created a profile for each dataset.However, when I change the parameters for a specific dataset, PSO applies the parameters from the default profile instead of the assigned profile. The profiles have been correctly assigned to the respective scheduling dataset.  Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? Regards - Anastasiya  

Hi    I would like to use DOCMAN for upload file on IFS CLOUD by use IFSSTORAGE. I not sure how to setting the parameter and apply configuration to IFS. Please suggestion how to set parameter and configuration on IFS.

I’m in our Italian entity.We place a customer order to a customer in France with Direct delivery from our supplier in Poland. A classic Triangulation with Italy as a middleman. We have a number of Work Task Templates that we have built up in Apps 10.  We recently started having the Asset Management techs using Tech Portal start creating their own work in certain situations.We informed them to utilize these Work Task Templates, specifically because it included the Work Task Steps.  However, when creating new work from the New Work button within the Maintenance Engineer lobby under the equipment section, then adding the Work Task Template.  The resulting work task does not contain any work task steps.Using the same work task templates, and objects, we can create new work from the back-office side of things and it all works exactly as expected.

Hi AllSeeking guidance here. I am setting up an approval template in the document revision and I added a user to approve the document. But this user only granted the DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT_CLOUD permission set. Once I start the approval, this user can view the document but he cant approve the document and I get below error. I am just thinking do I need to grant any additional permission to these users who are doing document approvals? I dont think we need to grant Doc Admin permission for these approvers as I dont want approvers to see other documents and document revisions.Any suggestions please?Thanks,Chamath

HiIs it possible to schedule the Update of payment status on Acknowledge Supplier Payments by using a Database Task?I am not able to find a suitable task for it. Best Regards Brian 

When using the APB, it appears to be ignoring the “Queue Time” field on Shop Order Operations when performing a reschedule. Is it true that this field is not considered when the APB schedules operations?The APB will determine and insert a “CBS Queue Time” when it [re]schedules based on resource/labor constraints. However, we are seeing this CBS Queue Time does not appear to consider the [manually entered] “Queue Time” field on the shop order operation at all. We would like to use “Queue Time” in conjunction with the APB but are so far unsuccessful. If this field is not used/considered by the APB we may need another way to manually add queue time while also doing CBS via the APB. (It may be possible to use Transport Time as a possible alternative to Queue Time if the APB considers Transport Time…)  

I need help to setup (ITS) INET_TRANS to create incoming Customer Orders. Where can I find a sample XML file? How do I know what fields are required? Our customers are wanting to us their orders electronically. Your assistance is appreciated. We on IFSAPPS10 IEE version. Thank you,

 I am executing a migration of Business Opportunities on IFS Cloud 24R1 Once the Business Opportunities have been migrated, I need to execute the Confirm Sales Process function on each Business Opportunity. I will be doing this using a migration job.I have been unable to locate the method to be used for this in the BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API Packages list on the Entity page.Does anyone know which method to use here ?

Is it possible to send an email directly to the case contact from within IFS?We would like to start measuring time to case completion from this point.

Hello everyone, I would like see what your thoughts are out there for Product Structures vs Recipe Structures in pertaining to Food Manufacturing. As a former customer and in consulting I have I’ve seen that companies start with recipes and then decide to use product structures instead. I see product structures as a simpler way to manage structures and better stream line IFS processes avoiding managing structures in two different places. Also, consider integrations to IFS (ex., Optiva).Let me know Pros and Cons.Thanks team! 

Hi,A user noticed on the Material Requisition Header the total amount/base is showing zero on some MR and some show the actual amount when in a Closed state.What is causing to show the zero on the material requisition header?I tried a few transactions and what I noticed is the amount will show in a released state but as soon as you issue it sets it back to zero.Not sure how some still keep the amount after the MR has been issued and in a state of Closed and some will reset to zero after its been issued and in a closed state We just recently upgraded to cloud 24r2 from APPS 10. Any help would be great :) 

I would like to setup specific Document Classes to go through a default approval by our Document Manager.  We are having trouble with users not selecting a template before submitting. Does this functionality exist?  If not, does anybody have an idea of how I could do a custom event to complete this?

Hello,As we began applying the Release Update 24R2, we noticed that a new component, WRKTSK, has been introduced as part of this release. Several APIs (entities, utilities, and enumerations) have been moved from the existing WO component to WRKTSK.We have customized approximately 30 APIs from this list, and now we need to uplift these APIs from WO to WRKTSK. We use the IFS for Oil & Gas, We are trying to implement a Lubrication Program, is there any specific module/Tool or way of work that can help with the lubrication Program?For example:What is the guidance to manage the greasing tasks? Although the task is the same we have different types of grease, quantity and frequency. Where can we populate this information in the IFS?Today we thought to use WTT/PM Actions but no easy way to put the grease quantity and type.Is there any documentation about this specific request that can support us?
