Business Reporter - The website’s security certificate is not secure.

Hi all, I try to log-on to Business Reporter, but I face strange error, which I have never met before: When I click “Refresh the page.” I get this error: I have installed this website’s certificate and this environmental works in browser correctly. I have also prepared IAM Client as it should: I have done this several times before for different environmental, and I have faced an errors when IAM Client or certificate is not defined correctly, but now I have done and defined them for this environmental at least twice.​​​​​​​Certificate are stored on “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” -folder. I also stored them to different locations too, but did not make any difference. This environmental is working on 24R1 SU1.

WT source connection is not working

Hi every one, I have an issue related to the source connection of the WT : I have these 21 PM actions that use the “merge” feature, and by using “Calendar generation” I’ve created one WO with one WT with 21 steps. But the problem is : I don’t have any “Source connection” one the WT. That value should be “PM action”. Do you have any ideas ?

How to Allow Subscription to Status Changes

In the latest documentation for Working in IFS Cloud Web Pages, this is written for Subscriptions.Note: If you find yourself on a page featuring a status bar and you desire to receive updates on its status changes, you'll need to request subscription capabilities from your system administrator. Once granted, you'll be enabled to subscribe to updates for this field.Where is this capability to see status changes granted?

Import purchase order and rows from external system

Hello,We have an external system for purchasing some consumables thats delivered by our supplier.This is user friendly and appreciated by our users.But of course because it’s external we do not have purchase orders in IFS as we would like to have for better spend analysis etc..and also to be able to match the invoice that arrives from the supplier.We are thinking about an integration that creates the purchase order based on what our supplier buys in the external tool.  What technology in IFS should you use to manage that?  In this case punch out is not an option for us.  Thanks for advance, any input is appreciated.// Johan

Issue with Task After Commitment Expiry

When tasks are created with a commitment and then fixed to a time and date just outside of this, they remain visible until the commitment status changes to "Expired" when the commitment date and time is reached, at which point they disappear from the GANTT chart. The only way to restore them is to ensure the commitment period is extended at least until the planned time and the status remains "Active".Is it possible for the task to remain in PSO when the status changes to "Expired", or does this contradict the planning rules?

How to track Freight & Duties of purchase item

Hi, I would like to inquire if IFS App 10 has the capability to record the Freight & Duties of purchased items to track the total cost of imported items.The scenario is that the billing for freight, duties, and taxes is often delayed, which makes it difficult for us to monitor the total landed cost of the purchased items.Thank you in advance!

Getting an error when trying to receive the PO

Hi,I’m getting below standard IFS error when trying to receive one PO"This Purchase Order is associated to one or more Purchase Order Change Order(s). When using Purchase Order Change Orders, all changes needs to be registered on the Change Order and it is not allowed to register changes directly on the Purchase Order."Does anyone have an idea of what could be the reason for this?  Thank You!

Records are getting creating in Metrix run log with IFS_PSO USER but nothing updating

Hi All,I am facing an issue with  IFS_PSO user which is  creating records in Metrix run log with  run type as mass update not sure why records are getting creating with  old task id’s but nothing is updating on task level since those records are completed task or cancelled /new.No data sets are running related to the task to confirm something is updating by PSO broadcast and also verified all mass updated created  in fsm but could not able to identified from where this mass updated is triggering. kindly  help me to  identify  from where issue getting created.  Thanks,Durga

Project Deliverable Design Component Search

Hi Community, Does anyone have a solution for searching a particular node and automatically expanding the tree structure in Project Deliverable Design screen.Refer Screenshots below.Project Deliverable Design How to search a component with Level wise traceability? It is like finding a needle in a haystack when the PD structure has 15000-20000 components with a 7-8 level structure as shown in the example below. Please suggest a solution.

Saving a Column Ordering preference

Is it possible to save an ordering (Order By) preference of a table column like you would save a specific search.We notice that if you leave the page where you have Ordered a column that you have to re-Order it the next time you return to that page. Is there a setting somewhere to prevent the ordering from resetting after you leave the page. I didn’t see any functionality related column Order By similar to the Saved Searches functionality.

Translation Context Menu FSM Mobile

Hello, can you help me with translations in FSM Mobile? When you press and hold on a text field, the text options for the field are displayed. We currently use the PT-BR language, both on devices and in the user profile. On Android devices, the options are in the correct language, but on iOS devices they are displayed in English. What should be done so that the behavior of iOS is the same as that of Android (text in PT-BR)?

Project Definition 'Margin' tab does not follow the number grouping settings

Hi All, I haven’t set the number grouping setting in the Account Settings. When I go into Project Definition > Margin tab, ‘Revenue’, ‘Cost’ and ‘Profit’ fields are still showing the thousand separators (grouping). Which is incorrect as per the setting. ‘Planned Revenue’ and ‘Planned Cost’ fields are supposed to be entered manually. When I try to copy Revenue from the Active Budget values in the table and paste it into ‘Planned Revenue,’ the system does not allow me to save the value due to the comma separator copied from the table. Now, the user needs to manually remove the commas or manually enter the Planned Revenue amount (without the thousand separators) to save the Planned Revenue.How can we resolve this issue to provide the user the ability to copy and paste the values from the table? Thanks in advance!

Populate Dependent dropdowns in fsm fields for user_def

Hello experts,I managed to do what was suggested by the friend in the following post:https://community.ifs.com/implementation-306/how-to-populate-dependent-dropdowns-in-fsm-fields-5568?tid=5568&fid=306I succeeded for FSM core fields. But for user_def fields I couldn't make this relationship.Am I doing something wrong or could it be a bug?Attn,

Work Assignment Information Tree not available to end user

I am having a problem give permission of “Work Assignment Information” tree view to general users. This tree view is under the window My Task ( under Service and Maintenance module, attached ) in IFSAPP10. I have already checked both presentation objects and Database objects in the permission set window but unable to find anything related with the text of tree view menu, so, unable to give permission from permission window. The users I am trying to give permission can access My Work window.  There have been a couple of posts but none of them actually  have a resolution.

Overlapping Date intervals Error on rehire

In an effort to fix a Person ID creation error - our HR Department terminated an employee in IFS. After advising them we could not do what they wanted to do as far as the PERSON ID being tied to the same Employee ID on a new person ID.When we attempt the rehire process we are getting an “overlapping date intervals” error message. In this example the employee was originally hired on 12/09/2024, Terminated on 2/16/25, we are trying to rehire as of 2/17/25 and this is when the error populates

Payment Advice PDF blank

Hello,We have an issue, when a supplier payment proposal contains 15 invoices for differents suppliers and the payment Advice email with attached PDF have been sent for each supplier, there is one supplier that has received the email with a PDF blank (the payment advice info not showing).We did some verifications and did not find anything unusual for this supplier. When we tried the ‘Show Document’ from Report Archive we have this error message: When we tried to preview the xml (for the same Payment Advice) via report designer, the report PDF has been generated correctly for this supplier with all payment advice info.Please see below the PDF Blank that supplier received: Thank you,Wafaa

Contract Change Order, Financial - This Order not editable

Its possible to customize excel report from scheduled quick reports?

Hello everyone and thanks for reading me. I currently have some quick reports that are scheduled to be sended to coworker emails with an excel file (from a query). Problem using PLSQL Test in custom layer with 22R2

We are using developer studio to create customized code for IFS Cloud 22R2 (22.2.3) and want to start using the PLSQL Test tool. However, I get two strange errors when I try. I have created a utility package and a function in that, then created the pltst file and a simple test. What happens is this:Compile the pltst file: OK Run the test (from pltst file): Information box stating “PLTST does not contain any unit tests!”. But test results tab shows one successful test and is green. I have also checked that the tests can actually fail if I change conditions, so it seems that tests are actually running and doing their job at this point. Run test again: same information box, but now test fails with error. “DROP PACKAGE C_PROD_LINE_KANBAN_MTRL_TST   ORA-04043: object C_PROD_LINE_KANBAN_MTRL_TST does not exist”. The .tst file starts with“CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE C_Prod_Line_Kanban_Mtrl_TST IS...”So there is a difference between upper and lower case. IFS Cloud - How do I apply emphasis to enumeration data?

Hello.I wanted to change color for the “sex” section, so I set it to badge and tried to apply emphasis, however the color didn’t change. The data type for “sex” field is enumeration and I think this is why emphasis isn’t working. Does anyone know how to apply emphasis to enumeration data?

How to safely open files with UTF-8 encoding?

ISSUE/QUESTION:When we want to open a file in Developer Studio, we encounter the following encoding error.The file “X” cannot be safely opened with encoding windows-1254. Do you continue opening it?  ENVIRONMENT: IFSAPP AUDIENCE: ALL RESOLUTION/ANSWER:Developer Studio’nun kurulu olduğu konumda "developer_studio.conf" dosyasını bulun. "default_options" içerisine "-J-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8" parametresini ekleyin.Uygulamayı yeniden başlattığınızda encoding hatası almazsınız. CAUSE: If there is a non-ascii character in the file we open, the file content will be corrupted.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: N/ASCRIPTS/LOGS: N/A
