I am working with a customer that associates forklifts in a warehouse with specific areas within a warehouse. For instance, if a given area in the warehouse may not be large enough to accomodate a forklift of a specific size, then it will not allow a warehouse worker to be assigned to that task involving that location if the warehouse worker is associated with the forklift.
Essentially, the equipment becomes a variable in determining whether the warehouse task can be assigned to a given worker.
Has anyone encountered this requirement? Does anyone have any ideas on how this might be managed in the software?
