IFS assyst

First time logging a question here so go gently!I am creating some forms in the Customizer and would like some of the fields on each form to have the Formatted Text Editor toolbar but only one field (Description) on each form by default has this functionality and I cannot see how to create new fields that have this or amend the format of existing fields.These are required so that users can paste images into the fields.Anyone know a way around this? :)

We are finding that when creating Custom lookups and linking them to new Single Select fields, that a blank option appears in the lookup (that isn’t there in the Custom Lookup) But it only looks to be on some, and not others -   Is this something anyone else is experiencing? Are there any fixes?

Hi there,I'd really appreciate any help with this.Basically, we’re trying to leverage Assyst to solve a flawed Business process.We’re looking to have some kind of Interface with Assyst to pull information from it, specifically,  a list of up-to-date SVDs and Product Names and ‘Application Owner’ of each SVD/Product.We need to notify these ‘Application Owners’ that, for example, the SSL expiration is coming due. (this information is managed on a separate DigiCert tool)So, based on the list of SVDs/Application owner, we pull from Assyst, we’d like to automatically open a ticket assigned it to the correct SVD/Application owner  to address their SSL expiration. Is that doable? and Where can I get information about any APIs that might help with that?Many Thanks in advance,Cheers,T.Kaddo 

How can we get details of Standard Fields of a Form from Database.Example: We need details of Expressions on Building Field of all Forms that we have.

We have a requirement to raise a Service Request from ETM. The form has a multi-select field. How can we add multiple values using ETM to this multi-select field? 

Would anyone have some time to go over with me their configuration/setup for service request bundles that aren’t related to procurement?  I’m trying to understand the best setup for bundles of things relative to application access etc vs an extensive workflow off of a single service request. Thanks!

Hi - we are starting to look at Power Automate, and what it could do when it comes to assyst.Is there anyone with experience using Power Automate and is able to share how they have used it to compliment/integrate with assyst, what they are using it for?

Is there a way to allow userID search in assystNET to avoid choosing the wrong user? Currently, when you fill out a form in assystNET, the Affected User is auto-populated to the reporting user.  When you change that, it is based off of name, not userID.  Is there a way to change that so when choosing an Affected User’s name, it also shows their UserID associated with that name?  When you click on the search magnifying glass, there are criteria options, but UserID is not one of them.  Is there a way to add UserID there as well?   

Hello. Does anyone have any experience with customizing the Self-Service Mobile App (formerly ACE) through InTune? We are looking to deploy the app to our client base, but need to customize the app icon and name (“IFS assyst” doesn’t mean anything to our clients).IFS have been able to tell me the key value for customizing the server URL in the deployment, but when I asked about the icon and name I have not gotten a reply.Thanks,Duncan

Hi all, I am using a ‘throw new Error’ piece of code in my ETM datamapper to force a failure when there is no record match when processing an excel file.  This allows me to append a custom message to the end of the error log dump in the email instead of using the ‘No match - Error’ on the Record to Update which just shows a generic message with no detail.  It does what I want it to do but in the email message generated it is prefixed with the usual dump.Two questions … Is there a way to just show my custom message?  Or a completely different way to accomplish this. Is there a way to throw an info or warning message which will not stop processing so I can provide some additional

Hi,My organisation is looking to implement some features using the Contact User form’s User Flags. I am aware that we can modify those according to our needs. However, we have a very specific scenario where we would like to be able to create event queries based on the value of those flags. I haven’t seen those fields in the query form. Is there a way to create event queries using the User Flag values? My organisation is using assyst 11.2.3.Thanks!

I’m a bit of a newbie to AssystREST and so maybe missing something glaringly obvious so please forgive me. I am trying to test AssystREST API with very little success.https://Server:port/assystREST/v2/ramlI can run the above and bring back all the resourceTypes from the api server, however trying to bring back an event based on the ID gives me a permission issue. When using postman to test I just get a 401 unauthorised code.

Hello, I’m working on styling of AssystNet Mobile Interface and I’m encountering the below issue. I would really appreciate a solution for this. Under Favorites, the two Service Offerings - ‘Computer Services and Request’ and ‘On/Off Boarding Requests’ are not visible in assytNet mobile app.    Please, help solve the problem.Thank you in advance. 

We are looking at how we can promote the ‘Services’ screen filter on assystNet. Hi team, We have developed an internal chatbot that we are looking to embed in our assyst application. Kindly help us or guide on  how to achieve this. We are looking to add the chatbot as an iframe to the homepage but we are not sure on how to achieve this as clearly the maximum customisation that can be done is only through CSS and we can not edit the source code. This is really urgent and important kindly advise on the feasibility and solution to achieve this.

I’m trying to use SmartMail to send all files in a folder but can’t seem to get it to work using this line of code.                -- include_files = [[{                    -- app = AXIOS_BASE .. "\\Data\\Attachments\\",                -- }]],I can’t figure out what the wild card is to include all files in the folder.  If I explicitly state the file name the email with the attachment sends, but if I leave it blank or try any variation of wildcards, I just get an error Invalid email 'include_files' entry: no file exists with title.  The email still sends but no attachments.  The files can be in any format, .pdf, .xlsx, .csv, etc…Any help would be really appreciated.Thanks!

We have had multiple users (including myself) receive the attached system error message. This issue is very sporadic and does not occur all the time. In addition, it’s not repeatable, so whatever activity the user was doing when the error happened, if they go back in and do it again it always works fine. I’m only aware of this occurring on Assyst Web not our self-service portal. We have not been able to find and pattern or reason for this random system error.Has anyone else encountered this and if so, did you find any root cause and were you able to prevent the issue from occurring?

Does anyone currently utilize PowerBI for their reporting? Would the assyst community find it beneficial to potentially share some of the different templates you've created or structure you’ve put together to present useful and efficient reports?Thought it could be beneficial to center some of that in a community conversation thread as opposed to having to schedule calls with other IFS assyst customers through our account managers etc! Full disclosure we are in the exploratory stages of PowerBI as we transition from on-prem to SaaS with our assyst instance. Very interested in seeing what people have done and built, and of course if anyone is willing to collaborate and share all the better!​​​​​

Hi All,We’re considering moving forward with implementing a CMDB and prior to presenting to our leadership for approval of a SOW etc was wondering if anyone would be willing to host a brief demo of their CMDB instance?We are a healthcare organization with both owned and managed facilities and are working out the discovery side of things given all of the tools and applications we are utilizing in our environment currently.Even if it was a brief video vs a full on demo I think anything would be helpful to show or have on hand for reference if at all possible.Let me know if this works and
