When new Presentation objects are granted in Apps 10, this expands to grant APIs as required.Where is this information stored within the application ? Similarly, when granting Projections in IFS Cloud, this also expands to include affected pages etc.Where can I find this information in IFS Cloud ? Many thanks. 

We have a situation where in both 22R1 and now 22R2, the reporting pods need to be restarted several times a month.  Has anyone else encountered this or know what may be the cause?When it occurs:We see that print jobs go into Waiting status inside IFS.  No errors are seen but depending on what/how they are printing, some users get a message that the print is taking time and will be completed as a background job.  Checking the status of the pods, no errors or bad status is shown.  Everything appears fine.Performing a stop and then a start on the ifsapp-reporting-<id> pod immediately starts processing the jobs again.The problem occurs mostly when we have heavier volumes (most of which are actually PDF) are being printed.Here is what we have tried so far to resolve, which doesn’t appear to have made any difference:Created a dedicated “In Sequence” report message queue and me

Currently in IFS cloud I have imported my Translations into the "PROJ” component, but when I change my language to Swedish, the translations do not reflect.However, upon further investigation, I realized that the exact same fields were available in the "CONFIG” component as well. When I re-added all the translations to this component, the translations reflected on the page.The page has only one custom field on it but when I checked the path, all the core fields were also available. Please let me know why my core fields have to be re-translated in the CONFIG component!Thanks

Hello,I currently am trying to send an email via a workflow, so whenever my custom event and custom event action get triggered, my workflow sends an email.How do I go about doing this? I’ve tried using a projection call “GetDefaultsForSendMail: SendMailDefaultsStruct” for BusinessOpportunityHandling as this is what is called when the email button for Business Opportunities is clicked.  I noticed that in logs, this causes cmd prompts to get triggered when clicking the button, which opens up outlook to write a draft for an email, but I’d like to automatically generate and send an email without manual interaction. Is there a way to do this?Thanks,Bryan

When I try to run the .\main.ps1 -resource 'KEY' command in Powershell,  I get the following error.  Can you please suggest how I can proceed? 

I use the work_time_calendar_api.get_work_days_between() function in several of my SQL scripts, and it works great. Is there a way, using the work time calendar, to calculate a date from a given date with a delta?For instance (pseudocode): get_work_days_between(calendar,‘2024-09-03’,’2024-09-05’) will return 2 in my environment.Is there a function that exists that will allow a date argument ‘2024-09-03’ and a variable argument of ‘2’ and return the value of ‘2024-09-05’?thanks!Eric

Hi All,Could you provide exclusion tables for 24R1 when cloning ( Say clone from PRD to UAT/TST).In addition, what is the lead time for IFS to clone an environment from PRD.For example, if I need to clone UAT from PRD and new cloned UAT needs to be ready by today, when should I inform IFS via a support ticket?Is it one week ahead or two weeks or any other time frame?

Hi AllAfter upgrading to IFS10 (Update 15) from IFS9 some of our users that occasionally are getting a hard error when querying the Customer Order screen? I am 99% sure that when we clear the users Personal Profile, it clears the error. The difficulty is users that have years of alterations in this and other areas who do not want their profiles cleared.Has anyone else worked with this issue and may have a solution or workaround?ThanksMikeNote: We haven't managed to get the View Detail script of the error yet.

I have received a new SSL certificate along with the Private Key but every time I try to upload the certificate it requests a password.  One wasn’t provided.  Is there a way to load the SSL certificate and private key into Certlm.msc without the password.  Just wondering if I can load the SSL certificate and private key whether I could then export the loaded certificate and create a password that could then be used in the IFS installer.cmd or F1mage.exe. Thanking you in advance for your advice.

Hi,Has anyone ever come across an issue with the Active Directory Integration where the sync process continuously errors with the below message:“ORA-20105: OracleAccount. REUSED_PASSWORD_ERR. The password can not be reused.”Each time the sync runs, it creates/sync just one account but does not grant the end-user role. Instead, the sync process just ends with the above error. If we run it again, it creates a different new account but with the same issue.We have the option ticked to set the password to be the same as the username. It is throwing the error, both when it tries to create a new account, as well as when it is trying to synchronise an existing account.

 When the user clicks on Aurena no page is displayed and the URL now has the suffix #aurena.casual# On clicking on IFS Enterprise Explorer link again no login page and the URL now shows the suffix #rwc.client.path# Click on IFS Aurena B2B and nothing happens other than the URL now shows the suffix #aurena.b2b# If we add admin after the URL all the 3 options above work. Any ideas on why and how to resolve this issue?

Hello:I am re-introducing a topic that has been brought up before in both Workplace and here in the Community, but I have yet to see any input from anyone in Product Development with a solution or guidance.The issue is creating Lobby Navigation URL’s to “tree-enabled” screens like Equipment Object Navigator, Project Navigator, Sales Rule For Part, etc.  When navigating to these screens manually, the URL in the browser looks something like:https://<server_url>/main/ifsapplications/web/page/SalesRule/Form;$filter=<expression>;treeviewrec=<value>;treeview=Tree;treeclient=SalesRule;treenodeid=<value>;path=<value>;record=<value>;searchfilter=<expression>However, no combination of this URL type will work as a Lobby Navigation URL - you will just get framework-related errors.Looking through the

Hi,  I have created a new quick report in Apps 10 and it works perfectly fine when viewing the report in EE. But when you click ‘Export to excel’, it shows no data found. I have granted each view and api permissions to the permission sets that need access to the report.  The permission set is newly created, is there something I need to tick against this for the function to work? Is there something I am missing?  Any advice is appreciated  Thanks Yasir

Hi,how or when is deployed Java code in projections?Is only way (except of running local Docker/Kubernates) to develop Java actions/functions develop it on TOP environment and recreate it before each test?Is there some other option to deploy these files to running instance - when they are already build locally?Or is here some automatic job what import it after commit/push? Hi all, When a material requisition change status, I have to do a validation, and generate 2 steps, when the validation is not ok: Send an email. Show an error on screenThe validation is ok, I have a function to validate and send the email if is FALSE, and a procedure to do the same validation, but show the error message on screen. But I have a problem, if the on screen error shows, the email is not being sent. please your help with this topic. Best regads. David P.

Hi All, I’m trying to change the passwords for IFSADMIN and IFSPRINT via the installer so I can get the encrypted passwords to pass on to Crystal Reports. The error message I’m getting is;Password validation: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied.I’ve already successfully done this in the development environment (both environments had the same passwords).I know I’m connecting to the correct environment as I’m getting a different error if the account is locked. The old password is also correct, as I get a different error if I put it in incorrectly and I’ve verified it by connecting to the database. Both IFSADMIN and IFSPRINT accounts give the same error message when trying to change.The Oracle error is somewhat generic and I haven’t been able to chase down the cause and find a solution. 

I would like to implement adding a user to the company by starting the BPMN process automatically as soon as the user login is created in IFS Cloud.Perhaps someone has tried to implement such a design with positive results?

Hello,We are trying to configure a custom projections and a custom page for the standard LU ‘EmpSalaryInfo’. However, after adding a simple list to the page, it throws below error message, It seems like a bug, as the same error message is consistently thrown across all environments running versions 23R1, 23R2, and 24R1.Has anyone seen this issue before? 

Hi,it’s possible to use HTML format for an email message triggered from Event. Using HTML tags in Message filed is quite “character” consuming and for text can be just 4000 characters long.Is there any way how to extend message? Does IFS consider to change this limit?Daniel
