Irrelevant .dll files are generating in CXBP delivery build - APPS10

There are three customer CXBP projects(APPS10) that we are working and all the three projects we noticed irrelevant .dll files are getting generated when building the delivery although specific delivery contains client corrections in one or few modules.Is this already identified issue?Is there a solution for this matter?Is there any other cxbp customer who have experienced this behavior?

Custom Logical Unit and Dependent Fields

Hi, I am trying to create a custom logical unit and page that will be used in a custom tab on the customer screen.  What I’d like to do is pass in the customer_id from the customer as the child key and then have additional fields in the custom logical unit be populated from custom sql statments that filter the specified data from the customer_id. However, I can’t figure out a way to make either a list of values or an enumeration that will populate data and filter said data by customer_id is this possible in IFS10?

Can APPS 8 SP2 bug applied for SP1 environment?

The bug is in APPS8 SP2 version. But the customer is in APPS8 SP1 version. I need to know that, is it ok to apply that bug to the customer?

What is the page where the - Event Action - Fire occurs?

Greetings, IFS community. What is the easiest way to identify the page or path from which the custom action is initiated?I have, for example, the table STATUS_FEE_TAB and the LU AccountTaxCode Is there an easy way to identify the page from which the event action is called?  I can run the following SQL  select *from dictionary_sys_lu l,dictionary_sys_view v WHERE l.lu_name = v.lu_name AND v.view_name = 'STATUTORY_FEE' In addition to providing some details, it is not possible for me to identify the actual page on which the event action will be performed.

Aurrena page loading error

IFS Report Designer - Last Page Footer Size

I’m using IFS Report Designer 20.02.0002 in an Apps 10 environment.  If I have a different Page Footer on my Last Page, can that Page Footer be a different size than the one on my Repeating Page?  I’d like my Repeating Page Footer to be 1.5 cm and my Last Page Footer to be 3 cm. The tool allows me to do this by initially setting the Repeating Page Footer to 3 cm.  The 3 cm is defaulted into the size for the Last Page Footer if I open the Page Settings and then close it.  I can then go back to my Repeating Page and switch the size to 1.5 cm.  I’ve confirmed the sizes are evident in the xml for the rdl when viewing in Notepad++.The issue is when I deploy and print the report, it looks to me like the Last Page Footer is trimmed down to 1.5 cm of available space, not the full 3 cm.

Hi Last weekend customer installed Windows updates and restarted server(VM) without stopping IFSMWS. Since that application is not available. Remove an entity from Ecxluded Entities List

Hi Evryone, Does anyone knows what could be the impact of removing an Entity (MrpPartAction) from the list of Excluded Entities ? My purpose is to be able to create a read only custom field in MRP Action Proposals window. In a Test Environment, I’ve made the trial, I removed the record MrpPartAction from the list in Excluded Entities, then I was able to create my read only custom field, but before deploying into PROD environement, I would like measure potentials impacts. Thanks in advance, Best Regards, Jean-Christophe

EDI - how do add package units in xml

Hi everybody,I’ve downloaded the xml file for despatch advise from “IFS Interface Browser” and it contains the package units. But if I export or send a despach advise from the screen “Shipment” it doesn’t contain the marked xml tags. Why not? Is there any settings?

Application configuration package (ACP) repository

Hi all 👋As I'm new to the IFS delivery process, I've been trying to document myself to the best of my ability. The problem I'm facing is as follows:When configuring IFS (via the native cloud webpage) you can export ACPs. These ACPs should reside in <component>/server/appconfig or <component>/nobuild/appconfig as per the documentation here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/020_lifecycle/035_configuration_management/#overview ACP location according to documentation However, what if the APC contains more than one custom entity belonging to 2 or more different modules?Let's say I have an ACP that adds a custom field in the CustomerInfo entity (enterp module) and another custom field in the FooterField entity (accrul module).How should I store the ACP in the git repository? Do I need to split the custom fields into 2 different ACPs? Thanks in advance for any answers!

Setting default values via workflow

Hi,I want to put a default value in a screen field BEFORE the record is saved. Means, the workflow should be executed when the user hits the “+” or “Save” button and the value should put into a defined screen field and saved together with the record. I don’t want to insert/update an already stored record (which I know is possible via calling the projection) because it is a mandatory field and therefore this way is not possible.Any possibilities? Best RegardsStefan

IFS Cloud 23R1 - Distribute a lobby as a homepage to a User Group

Hi All,How do you distribute a lobby as a home page to a User Group efficiently?Is there any proper way to do this efficiently instead of trying to update the profile manually for each user or any other workarounds that take time?In this scenario there can be several user groups and users count can be more than 1000 and this needs to be done for more than 4 environments.I do not think this can be achieved by using ‘Configuration Context’.In Apps10, it was possible to do this efficiently using the ‘Base Profile’.
