Can we get an API code example to rotate shop floor account passwords for IFS Application 10   

Could someone advise what my expectations should be as to under what circumstances I can simply click into a field and can edit it vs having to click the ‘pencil’/edit icon first before being able to edit, please?EG Receive Inventory Part - click in field and can edit Customer Order Lines - have to click ‘pencil’/edit to change quantity It would be useful to have an explanation to pass on to users.Thanks!Linda

Hi everyone,Current IFS version: IFS apps 9 EETarget IFS version: IFS cloud 23R2 (hosted on prem by us) Today in IFS9 we have several applications (built by us) that are connecting to our database directly to “interface” with IFS. We have several oracle users that handle these connections, created as IFS fnd users. These users are granted access to the database API package methods via permission sets, and are set as inactive in the IFS application as they never actually log into the app and the oracle user handles everything.Example: User logs into non-IFS app and enters information about a purchase order. That application connects to the database hosting IFS as an appropriate oracle user, calls {app_owner}.purchase_order_api.new and creates the purchase order. We are in the process of upgrading to IFS cloud. Hello,I am facing an issue in the lobby while including the date parameter. The data is not populating in the lobby.Cloud version - 23R1 (Note - We need the date as a datatype to get the calendar below to pick the desired date from the calendar) In the main view, the date (balance_date) is formatted as “DD-MON-YY”The page parameter uses the format “YYYY-MM-DD”.Subquery’s date (balance_date) is also formatted as “DD-MON-YY”.The picture below shows the format as “DD/MM/YYYY”, but in reality, it is using the format “YYYY-MM-DD”.Page Parameter

Hello Everyone, We are working on an integration between IFS and our customers bank to send Payment Files from IFS to the bank to carry out supplier payments. The bank requested PGP encryption for file encryption, and this was handled through a java transformer custom built by our technical team member. This worked successfully where bank was able to decrypt files sent through IFS. We implemented a file naming convention to ensure the required name is captured on the outgoing file and the received file by the bank.  Now the bank is informing us that the file sent cannot be decrypted due to an error message they receive while attempting to decrypt the file (error text was not shared at the time of writing this). The feedback received from the bank is that the file naming convention is causing the error. Has anyone faced a similar issue while decrypting from the banks end? If so, appreciate your thoughts/ feedback/ Solution. Thank you. 

Hi All,Anyone implemented a PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) encryption for our standard SFTP senders via any means? Banking systems requires PGP encryption onto of SFTP for extra security so any implementation of PGP is appreciates even with external tools.Thanks and kind regards,/Tharindu

Hi,I would like to know what is the condition to enter for a field that is boolean betwen true or false.No custom values I’ve used already existing parameteres like EXCLUDE_FROM_AS_BUILT in the product structure.If the value is True I want to trigger the action. I tried with = or LIKE and also with ‘True’ ; True ; 1. But nothing seems to be working …And the same thing for BOM_TYPE. I want to trigger the action while BOM_TYPE is equal to Manufactured.Can you help me ?Thank You

We are on IFS Cloud 23R1 and we use business opportunities as our quotation mechanism and convert them to customer orders once won. IFS creates a link between the business opportunity and customer order, and the business opportunity is displayed on the header of the customer order. In some instances when “unchangable” information (order type, customer, site, etc) is entered incorrectly at time of order entry, the connected customer order must be cancelled, and a new one created. The new customer order is not connected to the business opportunity, which breaks the traceability chain from invoice back to quotation. Is there any way to manually “connect” the customer order back to a specific business opportunity? I tried setting the Business Opporunity field on the Customer Order to editable and manually changing, but i get an error that Business Opportunity may not be modified. Compatibility Application Type (Int). Note: The Compatibility Application Type (Main) works fine. It prompts me to login but IFS does not accept my Oracle login neither SSo microsoft.Cloud someone help me with it? If a Cancel the sign in, get the error bellow.
