Hello all, I’ve come across an error on more than one user account where the 9 dots recent screen doesn’t load and stays as below: I’ve granted the “RecentScreenService” projection to all users, but that hasn’t worked. Has anyone come across this problem, and how did you resolve it?

Hello, We have a customer using 24R1, and for one of the end-users (let’s call them ‘A’) the search command button isn’t fetching the data in ‘Customer Credit Analysis’ page. Once they click on search button, the following is shown as the result. But if they click on the ‘Apply’ button with no search filters, it returns all the data available to the user. For another end-user ‘B’, the search command button on ‘Customer Credit Analysis’ page works the first time itself. When I checked the DevTools, under the Trace tab the following SELECT query is shown. But for the end user ‘A’, these entries are not there. It seems like no request is being sent when ‘Search’ is clicked. Does anyone have an idea what permission the end user ‘A’ might be missing? Any help would be much appreciated! Hi All Does Apps 10 (UPD 15) running with Oracle DB Authentication use NTLM? We do NOT have Active Directory Integration configured, all users are using Oracle DB authentication but we need to understand if the IFS Client needs to authenticate with the NTLM protocol (whether that be v1 or v2). When looking at logs over the previous 30 days, it appears that both versions are in use between staff laptops and the middleware server and between the middleware server and the Database server. This might be because the protocols are ‘available’. Whereas if we enforce Kerberos instead (more modern / far more secure), the connections may just use this instead, but we need to get confirmation before we start turning anything off. Is there a way to set the Default Search Settings globally for all screens to be able to change quickly: Run Search to "When Criteria is changed" or “Only when Search button pressed” Startup Behaviour to “Use Search” or “Run Latest Serch” Our users have to configure this for each and every screen individually, and since it’s done on some views only there is a struggle to know when to press search or not. This in addition to commonly using the search function upwards to 20 times a day per user makes it time consuming. There should still be a way to customize each and every view but also a default setting globally which you can either: a) reset the default for all views b) set the default on all pages that has not had their search settings setup Thanks in advance!

Hello, We are using IFS Cloud 24R1 and have created multiple configuration contexts for different sites and companies. We want to extract all the configuration changes made in these contexts — such as field visibility, required fields, and other property overrides — excluding the Global context. Is there a supported method (Quick Report, SQL query, or projection) to retrieve this data in bulk instead of checking each context manually? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello, we`re using CRM Aurena, UPD20. We got several user requests regarding date fields in the solution. Is there a parameter or setup that defines how date fields show the calendar? To be specific: is there way to show the calendar week starting with Monday, instead of Sunday: Only on the Date fields (not Work Time Calendars or Basic Data etc.). Thanks for any advice or tip! When I tried passing a LongText type parameter to a function that is defined in a projection and implemented in the PLSQL code, get a runtime error when starting the page. This is an Aurina Assistant page. But if I change the type to Text then no error. Has anyone come across this problem or is this a know issue ? F.Y.I. We often use the Order Environment functionality in the build place. When ordering a DEV Environment, we always use the Customer Solution. We have had NO changes to our customer solution this year and all builds have been successful, until now. This week when ordering a DEV Environment, it fails to build. In the Environment Logs, we have logs ending in “error-mt-logs”. When we look into the logs we can only notice one difference between the previous successful builds and these failed builds.The Installer version and the global.helmChartVersion have changed. Previous builds as early as last week were using Installer version 23.3.14 and global.helmChartVersion 232.14.0 Current failing builds are attempting to use Installer version 23.3.15 and global.helmChartVersion 232.15.0 These look to be incremented on each environment order so this could be a red herring and not a clue to the actual issue. Has anyone experienced this? Do we need to create support ticket?

Early in our upgrade project, some IFS consultants got us going with build home names like UB1-MWS-2124UB and UB1-MWS-2127UB. We’ve continued that naming convention with UB1-MWS-2213UB and UB1-MWS-2220UB, etc. Now I’d like to recreate the build home between service updates to roll up customizations. I’ve had better luck with this approach than I have with piecewise deliveries. Doing the build in one step is more DevOpsy, is a best practice, and reduces our downtime during the go-live weekend. I’d like to make sure our system continues to make sense to consultants and new hires. Is there an established or recommended naming convention for customized build homes?

Since upgrading to version 27, the IFS Data Migration Excel Add-in has been updated from version 10.14.1.0 to 10.26.1.0. While the add-in installs correctly with version 10.26.1.0, it does not function as expected within Excel. Specifically, the buttons within the add-in (e.g., Connect, Settings, Info) do not display their labels and are non-functional, despite all prerequisite software being installed. The add-in works correctly in **Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2504 Build 16.0.18730.20226)**. However, the same functionality fails in **Microsoft® Excel 2016 MSO (16.0.10415.20025) 64-bit**. Is there a known solution or workaround for this issue?

How have others, or what is the best practice for protecting IFS Enterprise Explorer with Multi-Factor Authentication when exposed to the web via reverse proxy? Aurena is very straight forward, as you can just configure a Conditional Access policy for it to enforce MFA and target the Aurena apps. When configured as per the documentation we were given when setting up Apps 10 for O365 authentication, the Enterprise Explorer app doesn’t come up in the list of apps meaning there’s no obvious way to enable MFA for enterprise explorer, thus exposing IFS to the public internet with no MFA. One option looks like Azure App Proxy but interested to see how/what others use.

I have a custom attribute that is a Date/Time field: I am trying to pre-populate the current Date/Time in this field when a new record is created. I am familiar with the process enrichment BPA flow, and I have identified the correct projection to tie into. I am also inserting the current user that triggers the BPA in a different field, so i know my flow is working correctly. However, when I try to insert the current date/time, i receive an error. This is my flow: The code in my “Get Current DateTime” node: var currentDate = new Date();execution.setVariable("Cf_Pcx_Datetime", currentDate); When triggered, I receive this error: I have also tried the following code and received the same error: var currentDate = new Date();var isoDate = currentDate.toISOString(); execution.setVariable("Cf_Pcx_Datetime", isoDate ); I have also tried to hardcode an ISO string and supply that variable, same error. For reference, I am on 24R2.5. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

Hi team, FND_SYNC permission is defined per default in 24R1 Cloud IFS release. What is it for ? Is it necessary for a “regular” end user ? Our environment is one cloud instance only with no specific other architecture.

Hi Community, I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction to troubleshoot the below error. Point to note: Out of multiple available layouts only one the standard IFS layout of the Pick List for Material Requisition can be previewed. All the others give the below error. Exported the erroneous layouts and loaded on to another Apps 10 environment and tested. It works perfectly fine. Imported custom layout from another environment to this environment and tested, it works perfectly fine. Restarted the middleware server thinking insufficient memory, still no luck. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Hello, Hoping you can help. We need to create an end point(IFS10) to pass to a third party to return three fields of information. My understanding is this achieved via the IFS Developer Studio. I create a projection, which will give me an end point and via postman i can send the data which will be later used to run a transaction created via stored procedure. Not used developer studio before and seem to hitting errors when creating the projection, not sure if we need to use the service layer and if Aurena is involved. How can I make a field type controller in to a look up . As I know Control type should change and should have a reference to be a look up . is there a way to do this by just using page configurations ?
