Where can I find instructions for a Linux-only installation without using Windows for the Installation and Management Server?

Hello, I would like to ask if it is possible to set some rule into generation of PDF file name.For example I print purchase order report. File name of this pdf is just some random code.Also when I emailed this report via PDF_REPORT_CREATED event, pdf attachment has this randon name. I would like to rename this pdf file and set some rule how it should look like.Is it possible via report rule or is there some other way how to achieved it?Thanks Romana

Hi,Please see the details given below.Current Situation:Application Version: IFS 10 UPD 22The Active Directory (AD) service account used for IFS Middleware and Database servers is currently configured with the “Password Never Expires” policy.Proposed Change:The IT team plans to convert this dedicated service account for IFS servers into a Managed Service Account and enforce the company’s password policy (e.g., complex password requirements and expiration every 12 months). This may also involve changing the current password.Questions:Will changing the password of this service account impact the availability or functionality of the IFS Application?If there is no immediate impact, what happens if the password expires before it is reset—will this affect IFS Application availability?We would greatly appreciate expert feedback on these concerns.Thank you! Kind RegardsThil

With IFS Cloud, clients can access the system without needing a Windows-based device, which is a great flexibility benefit. However, for developers, the use of Developer Studio still requires a Windows operating system. This means it cannot be used on macOS devices.Given that Developer Studio is based on NetBeans, which is a cross-platform application, it shouldn't be technically difficult for IFS to provide a macOS-compatible version. Offering such support would significantly enhance the development experience and flexibility for Mac users.Is there any plan or roadmap for this?

Are you able to add a filter search like this in a Quick Report? Where you have the list of values, currently users have to type in the full order numbers and the like but would like it to do a predictive search. 

Community, Question about “BizAPI - INVOICE - Receive IFS Eninvoice”Wondering whether this API could flag a supplier invoice as an advanced invoice?if yes, can anyone share us the exact XML tag or body? We are using ABBYY software to transfer the supplier invoice to IFS, we had a request to handle Advanced Supplier Invoice from ABBYY to IFS, which is not able to make it right now in IFS as per current configuration. Thank you.

 We are currently developing our configurations during our IFS Cloud project in Version 25R1SU5.We noticed timeouts during the design of workflows, as an example the validation or inspection of a simple workflow:Timeout during Inspection of workflow, with only one record in EntityAlso some users are experiencing LoVs, that are not getting loaded:  What could be the source of this errors and where should we look for a more detailed error message? im using IFS app 10, recently for many work orders their planned and expected finished dates are not showing. how do i resolve this?

I am playing with IFS Workflows and encountered an issue where workflow isn’t triggered. My workflow is designed to automate the “Picking” of CO from quick order flow handling screen using “Report Reserved Quantities as Picked”.Read CO Quick Order Flow: First Block reads the Quick Order flow data using Order No.   Second Block: Only executes if the Objstate is “Reserved”. I am calling the action “ReportReservedAsPicked(Selection,LocationNo):Void” to pick the CO. Hello,We have been experiencing some issues where a Sales Charge Type which we no longer use has been being selected as the charge type on several Customer Orders. It is causing issues with how charges are getting processed on these orders. So we would like to know what our options are for deactivating, hiding, or deleting this particular Sales Charge Type, either on the Sales Charge Type screen itself, or on the Customer Order. Can someone point me in the right direction?Thank you,

Dear All,I am currently working on an integration where I need to send a CSV file to an SFTP location.The application message has been successfully created. However, I observed that, although I intended to send a CSV file, the message input data contains an XML file instead.  The expected file name is correctly specified in the address data section.At present, the SFTP sender is deactivated, which is causing an error. Therefor I am unable to check the actual file.My concern is if the file type mismatch could impact the successful completion of the application message. I would appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts or insights on this matter.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Nija

Hi,We have just upgraded our environment from 23R2 to 25R1 and when we print, we cannot see our local printers anymore. We only see our logical printers.All looks ok on the Aurena agent side, anybody has experienced this problem too ? Thanks and Regards,Anne-Sophie

BuilPlace capture all activities (Jobs) with the invokers email etc, however it seems it doesn't send any email notifications when Jobs status changed by cloud. This is very difficult as we order sanity builds etc that cloud teams perform but since there is no notifications , we have to log to builplace and keep refreshing to check if the jobs are performed or not.

Hello community, I scheduled database task for couple of companies and rate types. However one of rate type is not updating and there is an error in BPA_ASYNC_SYS_TAB. I can see in the observations that the request is reaching to workflow. However, the rate is not updated properly. When I run rate update by start now then it is updated without problem Anyone has idea?  ThanksFurkan

As the title indicates, we’re looking for a way to migrate users from one environment (e.g., UAT) to another (e.g., Production). We’re currently implementing IFS Cloud, and manually creating accounts in each environment has proven to be very cumbersome. If there’s an “easy button” or a streamlined approach to handle this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello All, I am trying to add all the columns from the column chooser , so i am taking all the columns from left to right side and click Okay than all the columns are visible in list in table format but after that when i am refreshing the screen than columns are not visible and its went back to the left side again in a column chooser. I am trying to add again than again same issue . When i am taking 241 columns total and refresh the screen than its visible but for more than 241 this issue is coming. Same for the Purchase Order Lines tab also here i am able to add 234 fields only if I’ll add more than 234 than this issue is coming.I wanted to know there is some limitation from the IFS side or what. Thanks,Pallavi

Hi all,We have built a custom API that changes a field (IFS Cloud).I built the Custom event so that whenever this field is changed with “value,” the workflow is triggered. This works fine if I run the custom API from Postman or the value is changed using IFS Cloud. But for some reason, when it is sent via IFS Connect (Using Projection as Routing Rule), the workflow is not triggered.Do you have any idea why this is a different behavior? Thanks,

Hello, I am attempting to create an arrival to receive a Purchase Order line via REST API. I am inspecting the endpoint calls that Aurena makes during the process, but i’m unable to figure out which call is actually performing the receipt. I see calls to CreateReceiptSet but the payload doesnt include the information from the arrival line (PO #, Line, Etc). I also see CreateArrivalReceipt, but it only uses what i assume is the OBJKEY that is returned from CreateReceiptSet. I know this is a little tricky because an assistant is involved, but I cant seem to make sense of the calls that are happening. Any tips for figuring out how this assistant works?

Hi, I saw that in Cloud there is a possibility to export/import a personal profile in the same way as it works in IFS 9. That's good, although something is left. 😊There is no problem with performing a single export.However, I wanted to ask how do I perform a bulk export of all profiles (select all + export).I would be grateful for your feedback. Regards,Patrycja
