Configuring IFS connect mail sender Oauth2 OFFICE365 - IFS10 UPD24

Hi, I created a separate case on IFS Support but I was redirected here, so my question is as follows. Is it possible to configure the mail sender with Oauth2 in IFS Connect in the IFS 10 UPD24 version? I know that this is possible in IFS Cloud according to the article "Configuring IFS connect mail sender Oauth2 client credential flow with office365" but we want to do this on IFS10regards Daniel

All pdf report Error

We have a problem at IFS Cloud 24.2.4. At unpredictable times, the system stops generating any PDF reports, and we are forced to restart the system. Actions like clearing the report queue or deleting the report node do not help. The error message is provided below. Is there any improvement we can implement or any memory increase or monitoring steps we should consider? We currently have 2 nodes in the reporting cluster.The report might contain errors or the nodes might not be able to handle the reports which were concurrently executing with the available resources.Regards.

Daily Integration Error 404 Not Found - ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND

We are using the APIs: RequestServices/CreateRequest and ReqWorkTaskServices/AddReqWorkTask each day to integrate requests and work tasks from a third party system to IFS Cloud 24R2. We are using Workato as our middleware.Each day we receive at least 2 errors 404 Not Found {   "error": {     "code": "ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND",     "message": "Resource not found."   } } - but when we reprocess the job, the same data succeeds without any errors, so we know there are no data issues or functional issues within either side of the process.The integration user has the necessary permissions, is a person, assigned to the right companies and sites - and the fact that when replayed the message succeeds, shows this is not a security or setup issue.  Our volumes are increasing and we therefore do not want to be in a position where we are having to manually intervene with our integrations to replay these jobs.We are trying to understand if anyone else receives these constant issues, or has any suggesti

IFS Cloud 24R1 SU6 - Middle Tier Server Hardware Utilization issue

One of customer having initially having PROD environment (Middle Tier server) with 12 CPU and 32Gb memory and we set scale as 10. if we increase scale 20,30.. PODS not getting started, in this case when customer is using the application reporting POD getting crashed.After that we increased hardware sizing like 24 CPU and 64Gb memory, we setup scale as 100.then PODS getting started and Application is up and running without any issues and reporting pods working properlyNow, the issue is customer checked the hardware utilization of MT server and its using only maximum 24Gb memory only and less CPU usage.Customer want justification for the above query, why the MT server not being used even 40% of allocated memory. Can someone justify?

Lobby Layout Changes Log

We have a customer who is seeing unexpected changes to a lobby page in IFSAPPS10 - we are looking for options to track changes to this lobby layout.Lobby elements are not being added or removed but are being moved to different locations and dividers/separators are being removed.The history on the overview page only shows the last time the lobby was updated and who it was created by - NOT who it was last edited by.We have checked permissions for lobby editing and there is only a small number of users with the ability to make changes to the lobby layouts.We have also enabled the “Protect Configuration” option in the lobby design page - changes have still been made. We don’t believe that std IFS history logging is possible on the lobby layout.I have used the COMPOSITE_PAGE view to review lobby content in the past, would it be possible to trigger a custom event on edits to the underlying table to send an email or similar capturing the user making those edits?Are there any other options?Man

how to maintain Custom Comand in IFS Cloud?

Hello IFS Experts, in IFS Cloud Aurena page, we can configure Aurena page to add new command group by Page Designer. The user could set up Label/Action/Method...Once the command group by saved/published, it’s not possible to view the properities any more. Only the name/label will shown by click the Content. The user cannot review the value of the Action/Method/Parameters of the command. If the user forgot what he did, he only can know exact action/method of the custom command by debug tool. If he want to revise the action/method/parameters, he cannot edit it based on existing command. The only way is delete existing command and recreate a command. Is it a good desgin in IFS? This brings additional maintenance costs. Can we have a overview page in Solution Manager to review/edit all Custom Commands and related Actions/Method/Parameters? it’s more convinent for users if the customer did a lot of configurations.

Report Studio- Dynamic Signatures

Hello, I have been exploring the new report studio functionality in IFS Cloud 24R2. I was trying to figure out how the dynamic signatures worked. I was able to utilize the Signature function but was hoping to dynamically change the signature based off a condition in Report Studio. In report designer, you were able to pull this in using a SQL statement but it seems to use a DB Image function instead? I tried using the DB Image() functionality but I keep printing blanks. My function syntax is this: DBImage('report_signatures','IMAGE' ,'image_name=IFS.jpg') My question is if I want to utilize the DBImage functionality, how could I use it for static data and columns within a report? For example, if I wanted to change the signature depending who is the salesperson on the customer. I feel like I may be missing something simple but I was hoping to get some direction on this. Thank you.

Aurena - APP10- Failed to load attachment - ODP_SERIALIZATION_ERROR

Hi,We are APP10 UPD17.In progress of configuring Aurena client for the users. Their starting to use Aurena.Below error:When clicking the attachment clip in Expense Sheet Details below error occurred. When debug it gives a serialization error.  Permissions granted,Could this be due to permission?Tried previous posts  - Aurena Permission Issue - No access/Failed to load attachments.But did not work.Thanks and Regards,Udeni

Access to new lobby elements added after granting permissions.

Hi Experts,I have a question relating to Lobbies and Permissions.When we initially connects a lobby to a permission set, it automatically adds the relevant elements in it. However, if we add new elements to the lobby after granting the permissions, the new ones won’t be added the permission set automatically. Therefore, users would get errors if they try to access them. To fix this we have 2 optionsAdd the new elements to the permissions set manually Remove the lobby from the permission set and add again. Both the options seem to be time consuming. Is there a better way of doing this? Thank You,Shehan Almeida.

Dynamic image keeps rotating 90 degrees in report designer

Hi All, I’m trying to add a dynamic image stored in database to a report. But the image (in portrait orientation) keeps rotating 90 degrees even though ample height is given.Example 01:Actual Image - Image appearing in the report -   Example 02:Actual image -  Image appearing in the report -  Any idea why this happens and how to solve it? Thank you in advance./Neela

changing the name of the pdf generated from crystal reports

Hello,each time we print a crystal reports instant invoice, the name is something like INSTANT_INVOICE_REP2322.0fr2598.0.pdf . could it be possible to customize this name with something like the name of the report called (instant_invoice_V2?rpt) ? Thank you in advance. Frédéric

Closing Sub Contracts where Committed Costs exist

I am trying to close some Sub Contracts but receiving the message The Sub Contract is in status Closed but reports committed cost. Reopen the contract and reverse the remaining committed cost and complete the contract. The option to reverse the committed costs is not available on the Close status. I have read that you need to go to the call off and remove the committed cost from the item line.I have a couple of questions.. Do you need to go to all the call offs where a Committed Value is showing or just the latest call off? When looking at the call off item line, when would you amend the value to  0 and when would you use the option to remove the committed cost? I have tried to zero the values in some examples but I then receive an error message that the value of the Total Committed Value exceeds the value of the call-off.Please could you advise the steps that need to be taken and the order they need to happen? Thank you.This is in Apps10.I have tried to run the Projection Connection b

Is there a way to systematically move configurations from a lower environment to higher environments without doing reconfiguration in the target environment? examples are basic data…. if anyone is familiar with SAP’s transports, i am looking for something which serves as the same function… thanks!

IFS Cloud - Issue in adding Sync Policy to a Custom View

Hi All, I created a custom view based on the  ‘JtTaskPlanning' entity using Query Designer.  My requirement is to create a new list based on this custom view and display it in the MWO Application.To achieve this, I added the custom view to the 'ServiceEngApp' mobile projection through the projection configuration page.However, I’m encountering an issue when trying to add a sync policy to this custom view.  I am getting the below error.Projection Configuration - Adding Sync Policy  According to the technical documentation, sync policies can be added to a custom entities. Similarly, is it not possible to add a sync policy to custom views as well? I am using IFS Cloud 24R2 environment. Please anyone guide me on this. Thanks in Advance! Sandya S

LoV created via developer studio not saving on update

Hi Community, I have created a new custom page through developer studio on IFS cloud 24R1 (and tested on 25R1 without luck). This page contains 5 LoV fields. They are all created as references to other entities.When I create a new record on the page, all the values save successfully against all 5 LoVs. My problem comes when I edit the record. Only 4 out of the 5 LoV’s are saving values. If I simply select on the one LoV that is not working I do not get the save button appear. Debugging shows me the dirty flag is not being set when I edit this field although all other values in the debug show as changed.I have compared the definition of all 5 LoV’s and they all appear to be set up identically. I can't see any difference in the LoV that is not working.Has anybody seen this before?  ThanksNathan
