HiWe would like to provide Customer Invoice .pdf’s to an external Customer facing application using standard IFS API’s. I would view the invoice .pdf in Aurena via report archive using a result key. Has anybody successfully integrated a similar solution?We are using Apps10 UPD15. We don’t have Boomi. Here is what we have found so far:Using the log window we have found the Report Archive projection and enabled compatibility. We have then viewed an invoice .pdf and can see it makes an API call and gets an ID related to the Result Key. From there it seems to construct a URL and opens the .pdf in a new browser tab. In Cloud 24R2 SU6 we have custom event actions that use the job STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL. It is set up for specific users. We have received a request to have the event triggered for ALL employees within a specific site. From what I understand we cannot set up the event action to look at employees where their default site is ‘X’.I have tried using a workflow, however, have been unsucessful. The SitesperUserHandling uses UserId and Approvalshandling uses PersonId so I cannot get a relationship between the two.Any suggestions on how we can accomplish this request would be greatly appreciatedThank you

Hi AllWe need to integrate PDF files with surrounding systems. However, even when retrieving only a single record, we sometimes encounter the error "ODP_PAYLOAD_TOO_LARGE_ERROR" due to large file sizes(Greater than 64 KB). Hi,I am getting following error in a upgrade (From App9 to IFSCloud 23R1). In the mtinstaller when runs for the frst time I get following error. its something comes for DB hot IP CIDR value. I dug up some old notes that I would like to share with the IFS Community in case I (or anyone else) needs this question answered in the future.First prerequisite is that you will need a full-sized keyboard, with a number pad embedded inside of it. Make sure that Num-Lock is enabled. Enter the key combination of the right-side Ctrl (not the “normal” one on the left-hand side) + 0 (INS) Key on the numpad + Right-mouse in the grey area behind any open window in a running IFS session. This will open up the IFS debug console for that version, likely others as well that run the Centura-based IFS client. Right-side CTRL + Number-pad 0 / INS + RMB outside of any frame within the application

Hello,We are trying to develop a projection customization which will eliminate the need of sending multiple calls to InventoryPartService to fetch Inventory Part Information and their Characteristics.  Currently, InventoryPartService has the projection action GetPartInformation which does this for us.  However, we also require the ability to filter on specific attributes both in the top level and in the nested structure for the characteristics.  Using OData functions such as $filter, $top, $select, etc is not possible when calling projection actions.My question is, is there any way to create a customized entity or customize the projection in a way such that when sending a GET for the InventoryPart entity, it would return the header information along with the Characteristics in one structure?  This would of course be a nested structure where InventoryPart is the root, and then Characteristics would be a list attribute for all of that part’s characteristics.  I kn

Hi,Does anyone remember if a pdf was generated in to the Archive when a crystal layout was printed in APP75. It works for Report Designer layouts but ‘Show Pdf’ id disabled when printing using a crystal layout, or could this be an issue caused by some other reason related to printer/crystal server setup.Thank you very much. 

Hi,Has anyone done anything related to automatically saving printed pdf files in to a folder location. This is for an APP75 customer so report rules are not available. Also SEND_PDF_TO_CONNECT only seem to work with Report Designer layouts not Crystal.Thank you in Advance!

Having copied the PurchaseOrderPrint.report and .PurchaseOrderPrint.rdf to my custom area.Opened in IFS Developer Studio.  Added an entity to the PurchaseOrderPrint.report and updating the .rdf as required.  After saving the changes then clicked Generate Code.   On checking the generated .rdf file the SELECT statements appear to have changed.     CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturer IS      SELECT         NULL            NULL      FROM dual;          However, in the original PurchaseOrderPrint.rdf from CORE there is a CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturers:   CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturers(contract_ VARCHAR2, part_no_ VARCHAR2, vendor_no_ VARCHAR2) IS     SELECT *           FROM   purchase_part_suppl_manuf     WHERE  contract  = contract_     AND    part_no   = part_no_     AND    vendor_no = vendor_no_;

Hi All,I am trying to print the Order Confirmation report from the Customer Order page and display the attached media in the report preview. I have already set the media Print Option to Print, but the media still does not appear when I print or preview the report.I would really appreciate it if you could help me understand how this functionality works and what might be missing.Thank you! 

I’ve never tried creating conditional formatting based off of a null/blank date field before and nothing I seem to try works. The docs say you can use the same conditions as you do in search, so I tried !%. Ironically % works for identifying records with dates.  I’ve tried <>%, = and <1/1/1 with no affect. Tried just <> to a date range, as you enter it you get ‘Your query can not be compiled’ Any ideas/solutions?   Thanks, Lane

I thought this would be easy. I have a lobby element with a link to another lobby the contains metric data. I need to pass the current year to the lobby page parameter YEAR. Hello,We are facing an issue in IFS10 regarding REST API access to custom database objects.Previously, we were using IFSAPP with Basic Auth, and there was no problem. Our REST APIs could query both standard and custom tables/views successfully.However, for security and integration isolation purposes, we created a dedicated integration user and granted it FND_FULL permission. I’m using PL/SQL routing to send an XML to IFS via the SOAP Gateway (https://<server>:<port>/int/soapgateway).I need to send a response back to notify that the record has been created successfully. Does anyone know how we can send a message/response to a destination address in this scenario?           

Hi all , Maybe a quick question.I want to change the behavior/design of Visual Shop Orders Planning,Right now we/you have this Orange bar that says Load of the Machine Example 25,3/0We don’t really want to see this “bar” we only want to see the operations/shop orders that we want to plan. Today you have to expand the view of all Work centers each time to se the “complete” pic of plan Im looking in page designer and can’t find if its possible to “delete” this Load bar in filter any suggestions?

We are struggling to find a solution for keeping track of data changes, for example, on customer order line columns such as quantity, date, and price.Some solutions can read the Oracle archive log to identify changes and replicate deltas to Data Warehouse which would be very efficient. However, some of our data doesn't come directly from tables but involves IFS built-in APIs. Therefore, we may need to extract data from views instead of reading the logs of tables. This means that we must extract a full load of data from views and perform certain procedures to identify changes, but it isn’t effecient this way. 

Could you please advise on how to add/map a logical printer from the client machine so that it can be recognized by IFS Cloud during report printing?I have already installed the IFS Aurena Agent and verified the setup according to the IFS documentation, but the client machine still cannot detect the logical printer.

Hello,I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on why some users in my company are having to use their MFA multiple times a day.We are on IFS Cloud 24r2.Through the Login Events, I can see one of the users impacted had 3 separate CODE_TO_TOKEN events in a span of 4 hours.We use Entra Entra SSO. It is hit or miss on users so far, and the only thing that I am seeing that could be an issue is these users use Google Chrome (instead of Edge that I use and have no problems).Has anyone faced this issue before? Or does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?
