The initial data set in Build Place environment

Until 23R1, when you created a build place environment, the initial data set by your company was registered.Will these data registrations not be implemented in 23R2?Instead, will we be able to create and register our own test data in a QA environment?

Custom Entity - Yes or No

I’ve created a custom entity that has some SQL behind it that results in “0” or Greater than “0” as the output. If it’s zero, I want the field to say “False” and if it’s not zero, it would say “True”.What’s the best way to achieve this?

Link to access to a custom page

Hello.I made a new custom page, I did set the grant access to this page.I then created a link to access to this page, but the users can’t see this link. They can still access to the page via the URL.What do I have to do? I already refreshed the reference cache server.

How to drop a module in Git repository for Cloud

We’ve decided to drop an integration module so we can rewrite it ourselves in a way that meets our business requirements. Question 1:When I remove the -Cust files in other modules that reference the custom module, I get build errors when I try to create the topic environment, as though the topic environment isn’t built from a clean slate. My workaround so far has been to rewrite these as nearly empty files, but I’d rather remove them. How can I remove -Cust files that are no longer needed from the customer solution repository in a way that allows the topic environment to successfully build without them?Question 2:Even after disabling the module in solutionset.yaml, the packages from the custom module are still showing up as invalid objects in the error logs from the topic environment (_ERROR_install.log). It fails to even get that far if I remove the line from solutionset.yaml altogether. What’s the right way to drop a module and its associated packages?

Add quick dimension to existing fact information source

Hi,I’ve generated an access view for the FACT_PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE information source.We have a requirement to also be able to query Supplier for Purchase Part data - I’ve created a Quick Dimension called QDIM_PURCHASE_PART_SUPPLIER, which I’d like to generate an access view for. I understand that the dimension must be linked to an information source fact, but I can’t figure out how to actually connect the two.I’ve tried adding the dimension on the Information Sources screen but I get an error because there isn’t a dimension ID in the fact table to join on.I’ve also tried to do it via the Custom Dimension Connections screen, but I get the following error:It think it’s possible as I spotted a screenshot in the documentation where you can clearly see some quick dimensions connected to a fact table.Thanks in advance!

Where in IFS Aurena can I check/change the lifetime of the OAuth2 refresh token?

How to get the Response Schema from an IFS Workflow Projection Call?

 Hi,I'm trying get the default values for a Catalog No before creating a Customer Order Line through a Workflow. I’m using the Invoke action ValidateAndFetchCatalogNoDefaults for this but I was unable to get any values from the Response Json.Is there anything I’m missing or is there another way to implement instead of getting the default values separately from each projection?  Thanks,Piyumi

Timeout Middleware Server (HTTP Servers)

IFSv10 Update 20. Oracle 19c. 440 Global Users.We have a few users that seem to experience a timeout, where by IFS appears to be fetching data, but this does not return until what feels like around 5mins. Some users are based in our US office, one in the UK and a few from home… Very random with the exception to it being related to IFS.We have looked into many reasons that might cause this issue.One area we feel we should explore is the 300 second timeout found in the IFS Middleware Server Admin Console - Common - HTTP Servers, Configuration screen.Has anyone altered this value? For what reason, and did it have the desired effect?My thinking is, perhaps we change this to 100 seconds…. Very much a stab in the dark, but keen to know if this is directly associated with the wait users are experiencing.RegardsMike

Print screen IFS Lobby

We are using a couple of lobbies in IFS Cloud for KPI measuring.Is there a good way to monitor these lobbies on big screens out in production? Is there a tool in IFS that can export a printout of the lobby, or is there some way for other application to read Lobby elements?

How to add a new language code and translations in Cloud?

Hi IFS Experts, We can enable the language in IFS Build Place and apply it in Use Place. But if the local language is not in pre-defined language list. How to add the new language code and translations in IFS Cloud Aurena version? There is no such topics in IFS Tech documents. Could you please share your knowledge regarding this? Service Quotation origin/Service Quotation connection information location?

Hello, I am currently attempting to create a custom field that stores the Customer PO number (found on the customer order entity) for this quotation. As far as I’m aware, you can create a service quotation from a customer order or a work order. If I have the link for both of these, I can create this custom field, but currently, I don’t see a connection to do this. There is one entity called ServieQuotationConn which seems like exactly what I need, but out of the hundreds of service quotes we have, there is only one returned row in this SERVICE_QUOTATION_CONN view. I can attempt to pull the PO number from any customer orders that have the same order number as the service quote, but this doesn’t help with the work order created ones. Does anyone know where the information I need is stored? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

IFS Aurena Analysis Results

In IFS 10 Aurena, we’ve just kicked off our QC dept and what we found is that entering analysis results is very tedious because we have to enter one line at a time instead of it being a table view that we can enter in each variable at the same time. Is there an overview screen to look at the inspection results for an Analysis Result for a shop order in Aurena Cloud? Basically, is this screen or interface any better in cloud than it is in Aurena 10? IFS 10 Analysis Result, I can just click in the next one and enter results. At the top when I’m done, we “Complete All Registered Results”.Aurena 10, We can only “Enter and View Results” for one Analysis result line at a time. If I highlight multiple, I can’t look at multiple and I can’t enter results on this overview. It takes us 10 minutes each time we have to register inspection results in Aurena 10 in comparison to IEE.

Downloading feature package takes too long

IFS 10 Multiple Print Servers

We have Print Manager installed with 70 instances. the printing requirement goes upto 120 at a time. THe print Manager hangs when it recieves so many request. can we install multiple print managers. Please suggest.

Connect to Active Directory with IFS10

Hello, We need to configure our IFS 10 installation with our internal Active directory.
