Hi Everyone,Wondering if someone can help me with a migration job issue.I am trying to update a field within a Custom page. In below screenshot I need to update last column called Exported as YES (which can be a Custom enumeration or simple text). Please note, there can be multiple rows. Jobs worked absolutely fine when there is only one row. But if more than one, it’s throwing below error:Below are the Job details:  Question is what to update in the job to modify same Column on multiple rows? Above example I tried on Apps9 environment. Thanks in advance/D

I am having an action which takes a LongText as an input parameter. When I send the string via Postman in JSON format, it gives the “ODP_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR” error. Postman Request:Error:Is there a way that I can send a long text in JSON format?

Hi there, until spring of this year i was told that the upgrade of IFS 7.5 to 10 had to be done by: upgrade 7.5 to 9 and then to 10. Using this way it was shure that all historic data would be saved.As i read now the upgrade from 7.5 to 10 seems to be possible - including the history dates. Do you have any experience?Best regards Kai

Our Customer wants tereplace in description sign ‘_’ by sign ‘ ‘ (space). He uses RM function Find and replace entering value source sign: \_ destination value ‘ ‘ (space - blank sign) But in result system replaces sign ‘_’ and next one sign.. In result there is fragmentally distroyed description. e.g. ‘A_BEND’ is replaced to ‘A END’  Is it an error or Customer should use another way? Please answer my question if someone knows an answer

Would it be possible for IFS to produce a debugger enhanced version of the Print Agent for use by customers when undiagnosed problems turn up in a Print Agent service?  Such a version would merely have displays of key values added to route additional basic information to the existing Print Agent console.  Please let us know if A) this has ever been done before and B) if not, whether or not it could be arranged in a timely manner for this customer.  IFS Support asks this on behalf of a customer which has normal successful results from use of their Print Agent over 90% of the time but they occasionally will have a print job get stuck in Remote Waiting status on their print agent server.  Existing print agent console logs don’t give sufficient information to identify causes of the print job failure.  They only give an error message and state the job has failed.See LCS case G2225593-B for additional details of the customer and troubleshooting steps taken to date. 

Does anyone know how to turn off case sensitivity in Aurena?

Is the function of group by in saved queries removed in Aurena, or how do you do it? 

Just curious whether anyone knows of a way to allow high contrast screens for Apps 9, or at least a way to have more themes available than the bright white screens with either green or purple?  I know Apps 8 and Apps 10 have more theme choices available and some were darker screens for those that have difficulty with white backgrounds.

Hello,  I am trying to add our company information(COMP_ADDR_1, COMP_ADDR_2...) to the Customer Invoice report. The report seems to be pulling in some of the address but not all so I am trying to track it down where I will need to input that data. We have many different sites with a lot of different addresses so I am trying to pull all this information in automatically from IFS. Here is where the company address information is located but does anyone know where this pulls from inside  of IFS? I don’t see any type of company addresses located on the Customer Order. I’m also not very good at trudging through the api as I found the field in there but it didn’t make much sense to me. Anyway, as always thank you for all the help. Eli Williams  

A URL created in IEE Lobby Element from parameters works but the created URL in Aurena Lobby Element goes not get the parameters and therefore will not work.URL:   https://simquestapi.aa.com/api/faadocument/$Contract$/$Mch_Code$/T001The 2 parameters work in IEE but not in Aurena. Any suggestions? Thankjd

Hi,I have created a persistent type custom field in a newly created customized form. After publishing the custom field successfully, When i do reload configuration, no action is being performed either page is  not refreshing or Page is not reloading with new configurations.Hence I could not see the custom field in the page.Please suggest solution. Hi Everyone, The below situation can be tested in the Apps 10 Test LKP environment. When the login password has expired, and whilst changing it we often get the below error message. “Error while changing password. Something went wrong while changing password”Since this error message is not particular, it is difficult for users to identify what’s wrong with the combination that they’ve selected.Ex: If a Symbol is missing from the newly entered password combination can we get a more meaningful error message that explain user to add a Symbol for the combination.     So, my question is can we retrieve a more specific error message for the aforementioned situation? If so, can this be setup through the oracle profile verification? Also, I’ve referred Oracle profile foundation document but didn’t find an answer.  Thank You. 

Hi,A saved search was created for the Customer Order Lines window as below. And then, that saved search was used to create a Lobby Data source. the VIEW is populated automatically with the saved search, since the VIEW is that in the Customer Order Lines screen.Then, a Link type lobby element was created using the created data source. And as you can see, the Page field cannot be selected, and it is empty. (It should be Customer Order Lines I think). And due to that reason, from this element, the screen cannot be navigated by clicking on the link in the element in the lobby. I have tested, and this problem exists for any saved search from the Customer Order Lines screen.As a workaround, I can change the VIEW to CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE in the data source and resolve the issue. Any reason, anyone of you are see / know why this functionality does not work for the CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN view ?CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN is the view used for the Customer Order Lines screen, anyway. Thanks,

We are trying to integration with external system using HTTPS.End point URL is - https://qa-tinsight.mercurygate.net/MercuryGate/common/remoteService.jsp Created ACL Created Wallet  certificate imported to DB serverbut still getting below error while calling the end point. Does anyone have experience in achieving this kind of thing? We cannot use IFS Connect for for this. Thanks !

I faced this issue during a technical investigation. There was an error message prompting in the application. "Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (The Voucher Row object already exists.) occurred while booking Invoice CN xxxxxx" After copying the PLSQL Details, pasted it in the Test Window and ran it. The error message came as same as shown in the app. While debugging there was a requirement of inserting traces using Dbms_output. The packages that I inserted were Voucher_Row_API, INVOICE_API and Voucher_Util_Pub_API. The traces were inserted and compiled without any issues. They worked fine for a while. But in the middle of the investigation, the error message changed to "Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (could not find program unit being called) occurred while booking Invoice CN xxxxxx." As you can see the text inside the bracket changed from ' The Voucher Row object already exists' to 'could not find program unit being called'. This also changes the error stack. Why is this happening and is there a wa

We would like to remove the field “Create Order in Released Status” or make it read only in the “Create Order from Quotation” wizard. I have tried to find a permission that would allow me to stop our sales reps from checking this box. Does anyone know how to do this?  

Is there a way in IFS Apps 10 to set a global variable similar to how the $INSTANCE variable works in the connect readers? I am looking to set up something for an external REST Api I am using in event actions so that I do not have to manually update the endpoint URL every time I import an updated app package into my test and production environments.

We are in the process of upgrading our servers, and have experienced some unknowns that we couldnt cover in testing that have caused the IFS live application to be offline, sometimes for up to 3 hours when we are having to restart servers and understand what has caused the interuption.The business are understanding but expect everything to be up 24/7, 365 days.Am trying to manage expectation, but wondering from others experiece. How often does IFS experience service interuptions? We are averaging 98% uptime overall.

In Aurena 10 I have a custom Commandgroups button (ExecuteAction), on the Change Request page, linked to an API.How can make it so that this button will only show when certain conditions on a Change Request are met?An example of this is the out of the box “Create CO” button that will only show when the EcoNo is null and the Objstate is Active (Not Cancelled or Preliminary). It uses this script in the Enabled configuration of the button.{"and":[{"==":[{"var":"record.EcoNo"},null]},{"!=":[{"var":"record.Objstate"},"Cancelled"]},{"!=":[{"var":"record.Objstate"},"Preliminary"]}]}When I grab this and enter it for my button under the Enabled configuration it does not work. Hi, we are not clear the Refresh button in Aurena page. It will make end users get confused with page behaviour. Anyone could explain the purpose of this? Thank you!create a new header of MR and save.   Click the Refresh button on the page header to fresh data. The data will lost and the page will return to original state.
