Report Rule CC mail option is not working at all

I have configured report rule setup for sending customer reminder the CC To mail option doesn't send mails at all. I am using IFSV10 upd3.

Database Objects Symbols

Does anyone have a decoder ring for database objects as to what the symbols and colors mean? Some text is blue, some is black, some have a diamond that isn’t filled and others it’s filled. My assumption is that it means either granted or only granted query, but it would be nice to know for sure what it all means. Thanks!

Create oracle acl for Extended server install in linux

Hi all After installing one extended server in Linux Apps10 upd 6 oracle database 19c. I have realized plsqlap access provider is not working well due to one oracle acl problem. I was trying to create new acls but the problems is not solved. I got this error ORA-24247: network access denied by access control list (ACL). Any help about how create the acls. I thought recreating the instance of the extended server will resolve the problem but not. Any help will be welcome? Regards

post Installation ERROR - Gateway 404 ERROR

Hello Community, after installation of IFS, the processes will start all correctly (startifsAPPS10.bat). The website will shown https://HOSTNAME:48080 correctly. But when I start EE it will be get an 404 Error. There is no service under https://HOSTNAME:48080/main/default/clientgateway Does anyone have an idea?

Submit a Job to the Background Queue

I have the following code, that updates the required date on Project Navigator Demand based on a custom field. It runs fine as a custom menu, but when i run it as an event on creation of a new demand line, it crashes with a mutating trigger error. I believe it’s because I’m selecting info from the table I’m trying to update. Whats the best way to get this to work? TIA. Query build will not allow to select (First Distinct) value of Part Description

I have created a fairly simple query here selecting all order lines in a “Planned” or “Released” status, where Part No is like “-”, and any value in part description. I then sum the Sales Qty for the Part No that is grouped. Our issue is our Part Description is not unique so I really do not need to separate by part description, but if I do not group with it the field does not return values. As you can see for Part No 100-ST50 we have a description of Diamond 20# and a description of Diamond 20lb, I simply need the first description shown for a reference and need the subtotal for part no to include all entries so the subtotal for part no 100-ST50 should be 950. I do not know how to have SQL simply return the first distinct value for part description.

Translation issue in operational Report

I tried a function ‘Amounts to words’ in report designer and I used like below ‘vldtmath:amountToWords(tns:NET_CURR_AMOUNT,'ar',tns:CURRENCY)’. When I used for german language code or other language codes its translating and showing in mentioned languages but when I tried in Arabic or Korean languages its is not translating in the report. if currency is 1000 means output for ar/ko : One thousands. Please suggest any solution or give me reason why its not coming in report.

Doc Management Custom Field - how to view in the 'attachment' view on connected objects?

Hi All I’ve created a Custom Field in Document Management and ideally want it visible in the attachment view on the connected objects. Is this the view the ‘DOCUMENT_VIEW_ACCESS’? If yes how can a OBJKEY be made available as I can’t get this view approved. Or is this just not possible? If I expand to the ‘more’ option on the view the custom field is available. Hi I was trying some troubleshooting, and changed a setting I obviously shouldn’t have. Due to most users having the “Oracle Profile” of “Default”, I thought it would be fairly safe to change this setting in our test environment: Short after, our test environment crashed. Modification of a Custom Package (CFP)

Hi! When a custom LU and fields are added, IFS automatically creates a package to insert, modify and delete custom data. Is there a way to safely modify e.g. CF_NEW__ procedure in the custom package to add extra validations? I assume the CFP package will be overwritten when e.g. a new custom field is added or reinstalled and all changes will be lost, so it is probably not straightforwad. Any ideas? Thanks! Fields are blacking out

Hi, when I scroll my mouse over a field in IFS, the field turns black. I can get the information back when I click on it again. Is anyone else having this issue? I am using IFS Version 8.

Quick Report SQL Date Question

In my quick report I'd like to select a date range going back to the first of last year, so for today, 2/26/2020 it would select 1/1/2019 - today. date_entered between sub_months(trunc(sysdate, 'YEAR'), 12) and trunc(sysdate, 'YEAR')-1/24/60/60 I tried a sub_month but that didn’t work. I’m already using this format for going forward one year: OP_START_DATE between trunc(sysdate, 'YEAR') and add_months(trunc(sysdate, 'YEAR'), 12)-1/24/60/60

Create a new outline around fields on a page

Does anyone know if there is a way to create an outline around fields on a page? There is an existing outline on the page but we want to create a new one for some custom fields that have been added. This is an example of the out-of-the box outline. We’d like to add one or more new ones.

Hi, We are trying to create a report to get list of users and their last login time using the view ‘ORACLE_ACCOUNT’ and few other views. We noticed that users who login using webclient(b2e) do not have correct information in this table. Is it because webclient users some common oracle user (e.g ifswebconfig) for the oracle sessoin even though user login with his/her own user? Thank you Upekha

Urgent: Value process business rule - Different tables

I am trying to create a business rule that does the following: When creating a task, look at the default brand on the request_unit and insert the correct template based on that model number. So if Default_Brand = FRANKE then put in FRANKE Task Template. I tried to do this Right now - its putting it on all tasks. I figured this is because i set the value table name and column under the input properties. Must be just matching off all the table values instead of the request unit. The model/request unit isnt put on the task until AFTER the task is inserted so thats why im trying to look back at the request. If it was on the task before insert then this rule wouldnt be so much trouble
