Hello,

We are on Apps 10, UPD11

Invoice or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created

  • User had 2 open windows which were unresponsive
  • She tried to exit IFS and received this message.
  • Finally had to use task manager to kill the application..

Any ideas of what could be the cause for this ?

Thank you,

Joann

Hello, @Ben Monroe:

Thank you for reviewing my question. Unfortunately the user didn’t provide the details and is not able to reproduce the error on demand.  I thought it might be worth posting the question in case someone had experience with this error even without the error details.

If they do see the error again, I’ll post the details here.

Thank you,

Joann

Hi @jtobin,

I have seen similar errors related to handles before when multiple IEE windows are kept open by users and the issue is usually fixed by increasing the registry value mentioned in following article by Microsoft:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/sysinfo/user-objects?redirectedfrom=MSDN

You can try the same and see if there is an improvement.

Hope this helps!
