Random information messages on IFS Apps10 screens.

Hi,Sometimes out of the blue, we get the Information Messages like below:We did not set any conditional fields on the screen Sales Part. This is not allowing us to update the records. Even though we log in as super users, one person gets this and the other person does not. We found similar information messages in Customer Order screen to. Is there a reason why the screens behave differently for the same users but on different devices?Can we make stop these information messages popping up? Thanks in Advance.

IFS Developer Studio

Is there any step by step to try the sample project from IFS Developer studio..? I installed IFS Developer studio and Oracle DB. So can I run the sample projects. When I run the sample project I got the following error, Target "deploy" does not exist in the project "IFSTest". BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds)

Permission Set for the user to execute modify command in projection

HiI have done a basic update on projection level under the plsvc filebasically using ---API.ModifyThis is working with user IFSAPPBut after creating a new user and trying to update the same i am getting below error“Your System administratorhas not granted permission to complete that action” Do anyone one know what are the basic permission sets need to give to the user to do this basic update Thanks

Alternative to Impersonate User

I have created a custom event that fires off a deferred (Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call) background job that needs to execute as IFSAPP. Rather then user Impersonate User option, any idea how I can run this background job as IFSAPP (rather then the user)...

Update custom field using event with value from another custom field

Hi Community I have created a Persistent custom field in the Entity Order_Quotation  → C_REPORT_CODE_QUO to enter a code which we want to use for some statistics in Aurena. I have created another custom field in the entity Customer order → C_REPORT_CODE_ORD. How Does Matching Logical And Physical Printers At Version 9?

Open Links from My Start Page Apps 10 in a external Browser

Hi Community, Normally If we open a web page in My Start Page in App10, its trying to open the web page inside the IEE client. (It ask to install the plugin for different browser). But is there any way that we can able to open the web page link in a external web borwser (eg: Google Chrome)when we click the link ?   Best Regards, Kapilan

Crystal Report previewing issue

Hi,I have set of crystal reports and granted the report projection to a permission set. Then attached the permission set to the end user. But when trying to preview the report login from end user it gives below error, The <User> does not have necessary privileges' to run the report. But when I publish the report i can execute it without any problems. It looks like the report is not granted to a specific user. How can i grant this report successfully? is there anything more to do? The report contains only core views and no ial’s are there too. The customer is in cloud 21R2. ThanksRoshanga

Documents doubled in print dialog

Hello all,I have edited the customer invoice and the additional invoice documents and have now included a media file in the additional invoice documents which has generated the swiss QR code.After this customization, both documents suddenly appear twice in the print dialog, but contain the same information.Does anyone have any idea how this could have happened? Regards,Lena

IFS Cloud History Logging questions

Customer is currently on 21R2 and we have some questions regarding history logging.How do we turn on history logging on configured fields? On the CFT table? i can’t seem to find it in the History Log Configuration The Import/Export functionlity, can you only export per table? or is there a way to export all configurations you have done on all LUs at the same time? Is there a way to setup history logging on the actual history logging setup? So it can be tracked who turned on/off history logging for a certain table.

List of pages per projection

I am looking for a list of the pages per projection for an entire client install.  Does anyone know a way to get that information?I know I can go to the page and use the debug console to get them one by one, but that would be too time consuming.  Looking for a quicker way to generate the list. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

HTTP 400 Bad Request or HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

When calling a IFS REST-API with an incorrect formed JSON Payload, for example calling an attribute that is specified to allow a value with 5 characters and the value is sent with 10 characters or when when calling with wrong attribute name, you will get HTTP 500  Internal Server Error.Shouldn’t the error be a HTTP 400 Bad Request? Since the request is malformed (incorrect attribute length or name). According to the standards for REST-APIs it should raise HTTP 400 or isn’t this type of errorneus request a request that should raise HTTP 400?How can we distinguish a malformed request (as above) from a data error (an error raised from business logic) when both issues are raised as HTTP 500 Internal Server Error?

Print Manager and Report Archive

Community, currently our system when manually printing reports, it will be routed to Print Manager window, but i read some document, all mention to get the printed document in Report Archive. May I know why it is the difference?
