Greetings, IFS community. There is a question I would like to ask about a crystal report. The crystal report can be printed by some users with the bar code appearing (See Screenshot 1), while for others, only the numbers can be seen (See Screenshot 2). Is there any reason for this? Hello, How do I print a Pick List for a Purchase order? I have been working on Crystal reports and want to print out a pick list for a purchase order based off of a new report definition I created for that kind of pick list. Whenever I attempt to print one, I get an error in Print manager, but it does not tell me what the error is Thanks,Bryan

Is it possible to extend search functionality in 22R2? For example, if you are in a particular page in the application but the user is only able to search using one piece of criteria although additional information is available to query by. A specific scenario of this would be in Part Assortment (Entity: AssortmentNode), a user is only able to search by Part No, although they may want to search by one of the Node IDs or Node Description. Is it possible for this to be configured or would this require a modification of the core application?

How do you know how many users are currently logged in IFS IE Apps 8? I want to gauge how many concurrent users are logged in IFS IE app 8 in a day on the average. How do you also tell how many users are using the mobile app in IFS apps 8 at a given time/day?

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a link in Aurena that will navigate to the homepage for an object when the object it self could be dynamic and will not always be the same object type? e.g.The Best fit search will return a list of objects, they may be parts (as shown below) or they may be a different object. In later UPD versions of IFS there is a command in the results to navigate to the item itself, however this opens in the same page/tab (as it is a command). If you do this and need to return to the best fit search then the std browser navigation the returns you to the start of the search assistant and not to the results. A link that can dynamically navigate to the Object homepage would allow the user to RMB → open in new tab; to keep the results page open while they find the correct object based on the details.

Hi All, One of our customer needs following to be achieved using an Custom Event. When creating a new record in Functional Object window , it needs to fill Description field with concatenated highlighted fields. Description field is mandatory ,so that values has to be filled before saving. I tried using background job (Deferred_Call) ,but it was not successful as deferred call runs after saving the record. Is this possible to achieve by Custom event? Thank You!.

I want to restrict access to Lobby Overview and I have removed it from all the permission sets that the user has. But still the user has access to it. Is there anyway I can find which permission set give access to Lobby overview ?

Hi Does anyone know how we can prevent accidental deletion of permission sets? Apparently. it is possible to delete a permission set which is assigned to users. We see some strange behaviour: . Anyone in IT who can maintain permission sets can also delete them,. Even if the user is not granted the FND_ROLE_API.Delete function, the user can still delete the permission set. - This cannot even be prevented by a custom event on fnd_role as the application wipes permission set assignments from fnd_user_role first and this is not rolled back when the the custom event throws an error. This seems like very unsafe application design that we cannot prevent accidental or intentional deletion of permission sets.

Hello, I am writing to request your assistance regarding an issue I am facing with opening the IFS Aurena scan it 10 application through a web URL on a mobile device. I have tried using the URL "ifs-ifsaurenascanit://" which I found in the androidmanifest.xml under the scheme, to open the application, but it only opens for a second and then closes immediately. I would like to be able to open the application through a web URL so I can access it easily on my mobile device. Could you please provide me with any information or guidance on how to resolve this issue? I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you for your time and support.

I don’t have permission to source code with the CustomerSolutionDeveloper role in my build place. How can I switch my account to different roles in the build place? I have assigned three roles to my account, build place admin, technician, and customer solution developer When I’m clicking on “CustomerSolutionDev” nothing change. The main problem is that I can’t see the source code of the solution. When I’m clicking on the azure link then I get the „404 – Page not found”. Additionally, I can’t checkout the source code from the repository, when I’m trying do this I get an error „Cloning into 'customer-solution'... remote: TF401019: The Git repository with name or identifier customer-solution does not exist or you do not have permissions for the operation you are attempting.” I’m sure that the problem is with the permission, because my friend who has only a customer solution developer role can checkout the code and see everything correctly in the azure portal.

Regarding Report PlugIn Layout -- Excel Plugin from IFS Offical doc, it’s said it is deprecated from 21R1 https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/060_development/025_operational_reporting/190_using_report_plugins/040_excel_plugin/work_with_templates/ while, as I tried IFS Cloud latest version 22R2 , it’s still working. so, what is the detailed version the IFS Cloud will remove this feature?

If any third party mail servers / REST endpoints/HTTPS endpoints that requires SSL is being used you probably do not need to care about the certificate, but in case the certificate is not trusted, the mail reader will not be able to establish a connection to the server. To mark a certificate as trusted you need to get hold of the actual certificate and import it to the keystore using the keytool command. To trust a certificate you need to use the keytool command supplied with the JDK. You will need to locate the JDK used during runtime by your application server.You can choose to create a new truststore or use the cacerts that comes with the java installation. In App 10 and prior we had an Input Data Spreadsheet tool to copy/paste data from one IFS environment to another, is a similar tool available for use in Cloud environments? Above is a screenshot of that tool, but we no longer have Copy/Paste functionality in the Cloud environments. Suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with contexts and the way they are displayed on IFS. Here are explanations : -I have to do some contexts with Aurena V10. I use IFSAPP and have all the right to do contexts. Here is a brilliant success of what I achieved 🤣 -Unfortunately, with certain LU, it doesn’t work. I change the order of the content, I save my changes, I publish the context but nothing change. Even the preview doesn’t work. -I search for answers on this forum, but the only suggestion I read was to clear my Cache. Another problem for me, because the Cache option isn’t available (and I use the IFSAPP Account) To clear the cache on UPD10, we said to me that I just have to typ /main/ifsapplications/web/server/clearmetadatacache after my URL but it still doesn’t work. -Eventually, I tried to clear the cache with IEE, but same results… So my question seems simple: How can I make some of my contexts appear when the others work fine?
