I have a customer that has an Exploration company.   We are investigating the Rental in/Rental out functionality to invoice the customers on a monthly basis.  Has anybody had a similar type of customer that i can reach out to, to understand how this can work practically in IFS?  And what is the financial set up that is needed for this functionality to be able to work correctly?

Error :  ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (The Currency Posting Amounts for the Invoice XXXXX are not Balanced) occurred while booking Invoice II XXXXX. We removed Instant invoice line item through IFS API in preliminary stage. Seems this causing the issue while posting invoice. But invoice amount is matching in line level as well as header level. 

Hi All, I have 2 questions:1.Do I have to create an IAL and import it as a quick information data source, if I need to join two different sets of data together to form a BR report? Is it possible to use SQL in BR to just join two data sources? Can a ‘SQL Burst’ be added into BR if it does not already exist?

 Hi IFS Team,Transactions Still  Exist How to Clear them from Completed To Transfer. Some are have been Transferred with status - 3, for the accounting Year and Period, and still on the same accountiing year and period we still have Completed Status -2 

Are there are any information source for "inv_accounting_row_tab (Invoice Postings)" available in IFS?

A customer has an Asset account in which the ‘Ledger Account’ checkbox is not checked. This account had been used for several Manual Voucher transactions that are already posted to GL as well.Now they need this account to be changed as a Ledger Account, as they prefer to use that in a Posting Control.Is it safe to make such non-ledger account as a ledger account via a data repair? What consequences it may have other than that account being not able to be used for manual vouchers afterwards?  

Hi,One of our customer wants to activate parallel currency for the existing company in App9. Normally we are enabling parallel currency while creating company in application. is there possibility to enable this later. Best RegardsNarmada

HiI have the following issue. All users who works in the accounting are part of the SINWOF Invoice workflow. now i have the issue if your in the posting proposal and you dont have a Posting line none of the accountants have access to the posting proposal since the Posting lines controls the authorization rules. In order to prevent this issue i activated the following button.  If you now go into the posting proposal and delete the line and save, the system throws you out of the posting propsal and you cannot get in anymore. If i give the User the super access they can get into the posting propsal.

IFS10-UPD9I am getting following error when click on ‘Create Mixed Payment’ after loading file without error in one of our test environment, while the file is working fine in another environment.  I have compared File template, CUP_USCUSLB, looks same. any pointers will be helpful on troubleshooting this.thanks

Dear all, How is determined to which Time slot e.g. a Customer order is assigned?I've got a Customer order that is made on 13-10-2021.Released on the same date.Picked on 28-10-2021.When Run a cashflow exposure to day it's assinged to Timeslot 2210. It has an event date of 08-03-2022.The Payment term that this customer has s 60DaysHow is this calculated?Thanks is advanaced

Dear All,Is it possible that when a new customer is created is automatically get's a credit block?When a new Customer is added to system Automatically Credit info must be added so that the field Credit Blocked will be set.

Hello, We created an instant invoice in IFS10 and we were trying to attach a tax code, but the only one that we could see in the List of values was EXEMPT at 0%. We tried typing in a tax code, but when we wanted to save the instant invoice we received the Error Message: “You are not allowed to use Tax Codes of type Tax with percentage greater than 0%.” On the Instant invoice we have Tax Liability “TAX”, and the Delivery address on Customer/Address/Delivery Tax Information/Supply Country has two Tax codes, both different from 0%.On Company/Tax Control/General/Customer Tax we have selected only Address Level.What we found out is that, in order to see all the Tax Codes, the Taxable box on the Sales Objects screen need to be selected. In IFS9 we could see all Tax Codes even if the Sales Objects did not have the Taxable box checked. Is it a fair assessment that in IFS10 we need to make the Sales Objects Taxable in orde

I’m using Apps 10 with Aurena.  How do I select the PO receipt to match.I created the POReceived the POcreate New manual supplier invoiceEnter the header information with PO number Click nextSelect Copy unmatched PO receiptsI can see the receipt lines.This is where I’m stuck, there doesn’t appear to be a way to match the PO receipt line.  (In IEE there is a check box)What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help?

Hi,We are trying to create a report for identifying the Latest Ship Date of a inventory part. This is to identify the parts that are not sold/shipped for certain time period and making allowance for those.We try to get this from the Inventory Transaction History. But, due to volume of transactions this is very slow. Is there a any other way to identify the Latest Ship Date of a inventory part? may be a view or method call?ThanksGayan

Hi,We recently figured out that for couple of Fixed Asset Objects Accumulated Depreciation amounts in Parallel Currency are wrong. Appreciate if you could help or guide us how to fix the accumulated depreciation figures only for the Parallel Currency. For e.g. This is one of our FA object. IFS Version: App10 latest update.  

 We went live in with APPS 10 in Sept 2021 and our year end if 31st Dec.We want to close 2021 and transfer balances to 2022, We have followed the process to do preliminary Year end, clear cost/revenue, followed another Preliminary year end. Question 1We can see that the balance are transferred to  2022, when we run GL Bal analysis, but when we go in GL Voucher row analysis we cannot see the opening balances, we were informed that is due to the fact we have not done Final Year end Process.  How can we view opening balances in GL voucher row analysis. We tried to do the Final Year end, but we got error message , (please see below).  Question 2If we do final year end can we re-open the year again and post the final tax journals.As there was no opening balance 2021, we cannot understand the message below.Can you please help and advise. 

When i create a tax proposal and run the preliminary report, the printout shows a tax year of 2022.  I use date for the Period/Date Range. But the print out shows 2022 How can i fix this?
