The customer is in IFSAPP8. Issue - After importing the MT940 file into IFS, the system reads the 3 characters from line :86 to the left of “:” and places those characters on the Message code column.Below screen shows message code = ‘YOU’ which comes from line :86. Expectation - Correct the mapping of the message code from the MT940 file upon importing by assigning the 3 characters to the right of “N” from line :61 to the message code column on the “External Payments Per Load ID” screen.Is there a fix for this?Thanks & Regards,Thanushi

We are new to Multiple Companies and are looking for guidance on on how best to preform payment applications when a CUPOA is required. All deposits will be made under one company (Company 1)All deposit transactions in IFS10 will begin with Company 1, applying payments to customers under Company 1 and Company 2Our current process is to begin from Customer Check, pull checks into a proposal, and the proposal then into mixed payments.Our problem comes in when attempting to create a CUPOA on Company 2, when initiating the transaction in Company 1.  All other payment applications are working great, accept for this one.

Hello,I am curious if anyone has experience consolidating the same reporting company in multiple master companies which would result in different relationships for eliminations?  At the REPORTING Company level, we designate Customer Groups to map to specific GL accounts if it is a related customer and then at the MASTER company, we further control which GL accounts to eliminate in the intercompany elimination rules.  Since it is initially set up at the REPORTING company, I would like to know how this is managed when that same company rolls up into a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th master company. Issue: Customer Group (Related Party, External, etc.) relationship can change, depending on what Master Company it is rolling up to, but that the Customer Group is controlled at the REPORTING company.For example, Corp A & B are related companies with same parent, Master Company (MC) #1.  In this example, B is a Customer Group 2 “Consolidated Member, Rel

Hello, Does anyone have an explanation/guide for the statements in the cost message log? Currently have a message ‘Part has been removed from cost structure. Automatic recalculation has been performed.’ Would be helpful to have additional info regarding other messages.

We have created a new cost set and setup identical to cost set 3 for Latest Purchase Price. The only changes I was intending to make is to have different labour rates between the cost sets for a comparison. However, the newly created cost set appears to be posting a large value to ‘estimated material cost’ when a roll up is done, whereas the out of the box cost set 3 sends this value to ‘latest purchase price’ cost bucket. Looking down the tree in our new cost set some of the components have costs against latest purchase price, but others are selecting estimated material cost despite the part having a calculated latest purchase price. How and why is this selection made?

Hello everybody, I have a problem when i want to use the process code. My process : 1 - Voucher creation with with the filed process code mention :  2 - Then i create a mix payment with the same value in the field “process code” :  But now when i refresh the page the value is missing (see below) :  Do you know why and what can be the solution?  Another question i did this process to do an account matching (voucher with the mix payment), do you know if there is a possibilty to match an account with a process code

Hi, When I try to transfer the project cost accounting transactions, the error message below occurs. Does someone know why this occurs and how this can be solved?   

I’m using IFSAPP10.Most of our sales parts are zero-rated for VAT, but we have a few that are standard rate.Most of our customers are based in the UK, so have their Tax Code set to standard rate in the Customer screen, but we also export to some EU customers, who have their Tax Code set EU rate 0%.When raising customer orders, the sales part tax code always seems to supercede the customer tax code.  This works well when selling zero-rated sales parts.  However, when we raise EU customer orders for standard-rated sales parts, this presents a problem because they appear with 20% VAT, when we need to invoice EU customers with zero VAT.Can anyone suggest a solution?Many thanks.

HiOur accounting calendar is set from 1st Jan. But for 2022 we are changing our accounting period and moving from calender month to 4-4-5.But noticed that there are some periodic allocations that have gone in next year till sept 22. Is it possible to cancel these transaction and than change the accounting period. or will it say transactions linked to this to this period?if this is case how do I change the accounting period.Can anyone please give some help and advise on this. How I can change the accounting calender. Thank youSwati

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read my question :) I am trying to apply Pseudo codes into the posting line information on the posting proposal. I have created a Pseudo code as follows: Pseudo Codes Base Data I then tried to attach this code to the line: RMB on the Posting line in the posting proposal and click on pseudo CodeWhen i do this, I get the following dialogue box. However I am not able to enter the Pseudo code from any list of values. When I tried creating a new one and saving it within this dialogue box, it wont allow me to view this saved record in the list of values either.

And due to legal reasons we need to send separate customer statements per address.Due to this we currently maintain several Customer Accounts in application for the same customer. Our requirement is to maintain only one Global Customer Account is application and we need to generate separate statements per customer addresses.Is there a way to achieve this requirement? Thanks

Hi, I’m trying to relate Postings triggered by Customer Invoices (those visible on the Customer Invoice Postings Analysis screen) back to the Part No. Currently this screen just shows the amount and I have to infer the part. Is there a view or something that will help me relate these from a reporting perspective? I’m using IFSAPP10.

I am receiving the following error when I RMB on a Customer Order Line and select “Connect to Activity”.The activity I am connecting to is on a Project that is created with the same Order no. as the Customer Order. I have compared the Customer Order with another Customer Order that is connecting successfully and both are identical (same parts on the Order line and the project is the same also) AccountingCodeParts.MISSCODE: The value I100453 used for the code part Project is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval Where “I100453” is the Customer Order number and also the Project ID that I am trying to connect to.Thank you for any replies.
