Is it possible to change the date format to not include time? For example we are trying to change the “Planned Start Date” for a task so that it only requires a data not a date and time.

In 23R1, I see that the Dataset screen has a tab at the bottom for parameters, but it is not enabled to add rows in the customer’s environments.  How is the entry of new rows enabled?  The customer wants to enable url links to IFS Cloud pages directly from the scheduling workbench, and I’ve told that this is where it can be done.  Is there documentation about this feature?  

I made an ad hoc report, but some of the columns have multiple values like skills, roles, etc. After downloading the report I am getting only a single value in the Excel report

FSM-I created a task & assigned to FSE from start date 26 Sep. He started the task on 25 Sep & now allocated start date visible on resource monitoring is 25 Sep. When I allocated the task, I used adjust to schedule feature that applied a calendar on resource & considered 12 hrs per day, so end date was 20 Oct but when he started the task, end date visible on res monitoring screen is 7 Oct which does not give correct picture as the person will work on it till 19/20 oct.  

We use FSM 6.21 and PSO 6.11. Currently, we need to use the PSO resource planner to setup rotas designate which resource will be working which shift.Is there anyway to upload shifts from a spreadsheet type of format? If not today, is that on the roadmap?

Hello, Currently from the task screen we have built a number of ‘custom searches’.    My users have raised the question.  Can we create ‘buttons’ for them to click in the header vs. having to open a drop down every time they want to check a work Queue? Can a button be given a ‘preform message’ type XML or a Client Script to run a specified ‘custom’ search? Best regards,Dan

Hi experts, This is regarding FSM Mobile Cloud deliveries.I have done a customization in mobile and this needs to be deployed in cloud. I need to know if it is mandatory to upgrade the version from the code before building the apk? Eg. Does the this need to be updated to 6.22.8363? Also, once a new apk is deployed to cloud, does the installer automatically upgrade the version as in the screenshot above or is it fetched from the code? Cheers,Buddhima.

There are situations where when carrying out multiple inspections, for example 100 hours (phase A) and 200 hours (phase B), where some materials, for example o'rings and counter pins, are repeated, used in both the 100-hour and 200-hour inspections in one same requirement. This occurs, generating duplication in the planning of materials and incurs additional costs. Is there a routine in the IFS Application 10 that checks this condition of material duplication and notifies the planning area? How can I avoid purchasing duplicate material?

Hi Experts! I am currently creating a new custom look up / standard screen. As we know, in the standard screens and functions, we have the Access Group field that limits access to these screens based on the corresponding Access Group input for each Person. Eg. If request has Access Group = A, and Person as Role with Access Group =A, then this person can view that request. How do we setup this same functionality of Access Group control in a Custom screen?

In FSM 6u16, Can I create a screen in the FSM Customer Portal to search Places and display Place Notes and Attachments? We are building site information using PlaceNotes and Place Attachments and would like to use the Customer Portal to search for places and display the notes and attachments. Is this possible and if so, can I please have a little guidance as to how?

Hi Team,We are getting the alert issue message inside the PSO i.e., "Rejected by FSM: Column(s) Person ID in table Task have invalid values.” while assigning the task to CREW.We have created the CREW inside the Team, and then added the CREW_MEMBER and CREW_LEADER in the resource and generated the shift of the crew from the resource planner after adding the CREW in some assigned region.Then inside the scheduling Resource, when we are trying to assign the task to CREW the below error message is coming. "Rejected by FSM: Column(s) Person ID in table Task have invalid values.” while assigning the task to CREW.We are looking forward for your guidance. In the MWO when we try to fill Misc. allocation we get error that “object reference not set to an instance of an object “ . What can be done to fix this ?

 We are having an issue which seems to be a conflict between the ABE & DSE.When Appointment Booking, we are seeing, after a successful appointment is booked, those booked calls will be in Unallocated status in PSO, usually by the following morning. Once an explanations report is run, we are seeing the Result of “Plan value decreased”. This is also backed up with a negative value in the Plan Value Difference. In testing, we are using minimal activities in mainly empty shifts and still seeing the same result. Is this expected behavior (hopefully not) and what can we do to address it? Can you recommend any parameters to review etc? Thanks

Hi, FSM Installer package shows “FSM Mobile Service” component like below in On-premise upgradeBUT, same package does not show the option “FSM Mobile Service”, when upgrading the Azure installation. Mobile.zip files exists with in root folder of the package.Should the same zip file be copied to somewhere else to make it available for Azure? /Sanjeewa

Hi Experts,Appreciate your input regarding the following issue.Issue:- In customer’s Environment Mobile client Home screen is not loading when accessing with role, when they are removing the role then the screen is loading or if they clone the existing role and create a new role then with that new role the home screen is loading but not loading with the existing role.Also, why is this issue occurring for the specific role, but not for the cloned role?    

FSM Release 6, Smartclient. We need to include the ability to add attachments to the FSM Escalation screen. I see a few tables such as PLACE_ATTACHMENT which allows for linking PLACE to ATTACHMENT. Do I have to create something similar for the ESCALATION table? Add a child relationship to ESCALATION screen to add the ATTACHMENT tab? Any step by step guidance from someone who’s done this process and can offer direction would be appreciated. Don’t want to miss steps with creating custom metadata, etc. Thank you

Google Play Store will no longer accept apps on SDKs targeting less than 33. Is there any plans to have the Android SDK updated to 33? Even though the Play Store is not supported, I am not sure if staying on a older SDK 30 is a good idea as well. Any customers that currently use the Play Store in order to deploy via InTune/MDM, will no longer be able to do so as of August 31 (fixes, new mods). Anyone has done a project specific update of SDK? I started trying with SKD31 but it is a good chunk of work. It new builds and launches, but there will be plenty of runtime issues to be fixed. PS.: Apparently there is an exception to extend it to November, but hasn’t been confirmed yet. There might be an option available to “ permanently private apps” as well, but hasn’t been confirmed yet.  

Hi All, I’m adding a bookmark of ‘Service Quotation’ but IFS Cloud automatically adds a filter which is the selected Service Quotation when you open the window. But I don’t need/want that filter. is there a way to remove it? IFS does not do this for ‘Sales Quotation’ so why is 'Service Quotation’ any different? Best RegardsRoel  

Hi All, Could somebody please explain the exact use of the field ‘Internal Destination ID’ on the Maintenance Material Requisition? I have created a MMR and entered an Internal Destination ID, but when MRP runs, the Purchase Requisition has an empty Internal Destination ID. Why is it empty? Why was this information not copied?  Second question:How is my Internal Destination connected to an inventory location(s)?Even if the info from the “Internal Destination” was copied to my PO line, how does ‘Receiving’ know what location the parts need to go to?In my understanding there should be a logical link between ‘Internal Destination ID’ = ‘Service’ , so when I receive the goods and put them on stock, I can only select the locations that are linked to that Internal Destination ID, correct? Does that exist? Third Question:Can the Internal Destination be set Default to the Maintenance Material Requisition?
