Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

Hi,My customer is using non-blocking appointment templates. They are not performing the check on the slot before acceptance to ensure it is still available as they are happy to deal with it manually if it is not allocated. I have two questions:Is it necessary to respond to the offers (either accept or reject) given that the customer is not concerned about checking the slot validity? Does it matter what the offer_expiry_datetime on the appointment template it is non-blocking, can this be set to 0 ?Thanks,Tom

We would like to know if it is possible to validate while adding individual resource to resource planner if the relocation of the resource is active or not, meaning that (relocationstartdate)<sysdate<(relocationenddate).Kindly let us know If there is any solution provided in PSO for this. 

Hi Team, We have created two positions as below for PSO resources. Crew Leader Crew MemberWe need to have only one crew leader in a PSO Team. For this we tried configuring in PSO Requirement screen as below. Our expectation was that after setting the below requirement PSO will show an error if we try adding another Crew Leader within the team in PSO Resource Planner. But unfortunately it doesn't shows any error while trying to add more than one crew leader. We are able to specify membership and generate shifts for these multiple crew leaders. Everything looks green in the PSO Resource Planner screen for these crew leaders. It means this is acceptable in PSO. Please advise how we can restrict multiple crew leaders in our requirement.​​​​​​Regards Ajay​​ 

Hello,When I do OOREC transaction and next SOISS transation I have the same cost - it is for example in transactions : 489369 – 489371,BUT when we make an additional transaction it is INVM-ISS and INVM-IN then the cost decreases ?Why cost is changed in the transaction = 649682-697672 ?   Regards,MK

Hello,I am trying to determine how time zone on a FSM place record is being sent from FSM to PSO and/or how place time zone might be used in PSO. I have searched HTM & Scheduling dbs and only see time zone on resource and division/region.  I have also checked the audits in PSO and I do not see anything related to a place’s time zone.  I am not sure what data is being sent via integration, so I don’t know where to look there.  I am aware of the app params in FSM client, App Param, SHOW_SERVER_TIME_ONLY & MOBILE_ENABLE_TIME_ZONE I am aware of the time zone setting under the Commit Rule in PSO, but now how that is used. If anyone has any insight how time zone on a place in FSM might be used in PSO or how the data regarding place time zone is sent over, I would appreciate a comment or two :)

Hello, If a make a manual change in PSO and for example I allocate an activity to another resource who doesn’t have the necessary skills, is it possible to have a warning message about the missing skills? Or do you know if there is something similar?Thank you very much. Best regards,Iulia

Hi,In PSO i can see calendar exception is getting added in Resources planners, In unavailablity screen, but its not getting displayed in Scheduling work bench -- Resources.  Not Updated in Gantt...Regards,Rehaan

is there a way in PSO to configure your resource status without having to go into IFS cloud? Ie: if a resource is active(connected) or offline(not connected).  

Hi!I tried working with split and interrupt activity and found some interesting behavior. If I don't have implicit breaks defined in the shift, the process behaves correctly, the original long activity will be divided and the urgent activity will be scheduled. However, if there is an implicit break in the shift, then the original activity is not split and the urgent activity is not planned at all.Could you please advise me what I need to set so that it splits even with an implicit break?PSO StandaloneThanks for help!  

Is it possible to know the origin IP of systems that consume the FSM APIs? For each API call, being able to know the IP address that made that call.

Hello experts,I've been attempting to access license-related information in the FSM system.I understand that license information can be obtained through the License Admin screen in the smart client, but the data in the 'mx_l' table is encrypted.I require the same level of visibility as the License Admin screen but within a custom lobby.Is there a method or workaround to achieve this? TIA Regards,Piumal

HI!How should we configure broadcast (ARP or scheduling) to return values to a file on disk?I followed the documentation and the only thing I got was that the system returned this error: INVALID_CLOUD_BROADCAST_TYPE and the explanation of this error is as follows: The data contains a broadcast that is not supported in the cloud. PSO Standalone Thanks for help!

In IFS Cloud, which screen I can check the task or work assignment is allocated by the first plan generated by PSO and Not a manual allocation?

Is there a way to set up the Dispatch Console, in Cloud, so that it will show the persons availability and scheduled time off on the board?

We have a single user who is getting an error every time he tries to print any client report.  The error details say the report contains hyper links but the EnableHyperLinks property has not been set for this report.  We have hundreds of other users printing the exact same reports without receiving this error.I’d rather figure out what’s causing this issue for him instead of having to edit every single client report.Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
