We havbe an issue whereby the Mobile Device IFS6 u16 doesnt rename file attachments if they are a .docm file extension and they have ‘id_XXXXXX’ (Task ID) at the start ofc the filename (Which gets added by the smart client). The result is that if the filename already exists, the new file attachment on the task will point to the older file with the same filename. JPeg files for example are not affected the same way.
Is this a bug? or a ‘feature’? the only work around is to manually rename the file on the device before reattaching it, but sometinmes our engineers forget to do this, and they use the same offline file on their device for multiple tasks (its a test results form)
Is there any setting or config we can alter to change this behaviour?
