Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

I was hoping someone could assist. We have lots of Work Orders that Engineers order parts for but then when completing the work it is decided that the parts are not required.On the Materials Tab the Material Line still shows a Qty X Required. This causes confusion as it appears that work is still required to fit the item but this is not the case. The Material Line is now not required. We are unable to change the Qty Required to 0 on the line as we receive the below:We cannot delete the linked Purchase Requisition as the part was delivered and invoiced and remaining in Inventory. This also shows in the Budget Information on the Job but again is incorrect as the Part is not needed. How do we remove this being a required material on a Work Order? Thanks,

Hi Experts,Customer is facing a post upgrade issue.During the upgrade from 6.9.0.26 to 6.10.0.13 the Admin group has been dissociated form the users but they kept the admin rights.  They also lost the dataset they should be able to view. The workaround used by the customer was to add 'viewAllDataSets' permission to the default set which seems working.  According to our initial investigation, we did the same version upgrade process (6.9.0.26 to 6.10.0.13) in local environment, however, we were unable to replicate the issue. While comparing the pre and post system data files of the customer, we found that the "Administrator" group data is missing in the Groups query. But the Group_Permission and User_Group sections still contain the "Administrator" group id. But the point is Group table has the “Administrator” record in the database.Do anyone of you faced these kinds of issues before? Are there any possibilities to sort this issue

Hello experts,When I access the mobile app I no longer have UI Design available.I have already checked the STUDIO license type, reviewed the roles, reviewed the app parameters and it still does not appear.I noticed that the Profile information is not being uploaded.  What could it be, can someone help me?

We are using IFS FSM Mobile App, completely baseline, version 6u24. The screen in question is DebriefTaskSteps, which is set up as a “List with Checkbox” screen type. I noticed that on the DebriefTaskSteps screen, which shows a list of steps to be completed, the validations around “completing” a step are missing.    Example;  when you have a step that is set to “Signature Required”, in the DebriefTaskStep (not plural) screen, you cannot complete that Step unless you add the signature.    In the checklist screen (DebriefTaskSteps), you can simple check it, even without a signature, it allows you, no questions asked.   I am looking for a way to add conditions to the checkboxes on the List screen.  read-only until certain parameters are completed (attachments / notes / signatures)  invisible unti certain parameters are completed.if the above cannot be done;  can we somehow remove the checkbox on that screen altogether, forcing the tech to open the step detail (TaskDebriefStep) and complet

Hi Team,We are looking for option to tag key fields like Request ID, Place ID into the Notification Log which can be used later to filter & display linked Notification log within the Request Screen.We tried using the View which extracts the Request ID & Place ID from the Notification Message Subject, but the volume of this lookup & amount data is causing performance issue for Request Screen.So, we are looking for any alternative solution,Thanks in advance.

Hi Experts,This is a follow up to a this post. I have the requirement of creating a view that extracts the date part of the plan_start_dttm (a datetime field in task), and to use this view field for filtering tasks by only giving the date (irrespective of time).My timezone is UTC+11, and the azure database is storing values in UTC. Because of this I am running into an issue with the dates stored during morning hours (before 11 am). I have highlighted above how the query yields incorrect values based on the time. Notice how for 10.59 a.m it gives the incorrect date and at 11.01 a.m it’s correct.Is there any way around this issue?  ​​​​​​​

Hi All, I am looking for suggestions on the following situation: we have sold a customer a equipment that helps him in his production process the machine needs regular maintenance and replacement of wear parts (non serial tracked)Now I have 2 situations:The customer buys the wear parts from us and puts it in their stock (Handled through standard Customer Order Process) The customer buys the wear part from a different source, but the part is technically identical (For example: standard electronics like a power supply or TL lights,...)How can we track the replacement of these parts during a standard intervention (Work Order)?I need a transparant and easy way to track inside IFS that these parts where replace on Day/time X so we can keep track of Mean Time To Failure. What’s the best way to track this? Taking into account we want to extract overviews and use search functionality and filters - so regular text fields don’t do the trick. Best RegardsRoel

Pct = -20TASK_GROUP = B; TASK_TYPE = B1 → Adj. Pct = -10TASK_GROUP = B; TASK_TYPE = B2 → Adj. Hi Experts,I applied a backup package for the first time (by hitting the apply button on the header) and observed the following,The package application is still in the status “running” and has been the case for the last 2.5 hours.But as shown above I see a log with an error status.When you expand it, and the run log is as follows, I can see that some of the configs have been rolled back (i.e the package application has started to execute). But now I’m not sure whether it has stopped with this error, or still executing despite the error since the status is still “Applying”.So, the questions I have are,*Did I apply the backup package correctly? Is the way to do this different from than just hitting “apply” on the header?*Is this error accurate? afaik, all the backup packages get created with execution parameters being empty*Does the package application process continue despite this error? 

Can you do a non-db list in FSM6? The idea being I have a really expensive query (proximal booked tasks) that shouldn’t be run without an inner constraint of a Request’s Place ID, so I want to kick it off on screen data load then give users a bunch of hyperlinks so they can go out and leverage key synergies, or something. I see “kind of” nondb list stuff on some of the baseline lookup screens but don’t want to experiment forever. If someone can kindly point out the checkbox I missed or point at somewhere baseline it would be appreciated!

Is there a way in which a task, that has 2 or more resources assigned, can be open on the mobile app of all the technicians? The is an error message that reads ‘Task has been picked up already.’

Hi, I am receiving a JSON payload on an incoming request and so I have created a routing rule with type NONE_XML.I want to route this message based on the attribute values in payload. For example, only if the customer_id = abcd, i would like to handle this message else i am least concerned. Is there a way to define content based routing for this kind of scenario with incoming JSON payload.Any suggestions are much appreciated.

We have a Customer Order which has a Reservation, the Reservation triggers a Mobilisation Work Order to be Generated. We have a few Customer Orders where the reservation serial no needs to be amended but we cannot unreserve the CO due to the Linked Work Order and we are unable to Delete the WO as it is ‘Work Done’ with Time Transactions. How can we remove the WO linked to the CO so we can unreserve and reserve a new serial no?
