Hi,I need to set a column value and save changes where the field is not present in UI. I tried using setControlValue, but it is not updating the field. How can we perform setvalue for a field using client script where the field is not present in UI but in the backend.

Hi everyone,We are experiencing an issue in the TST environment when using the Appointment Booking API standard APIs from FSM.When we send an Appointment Booking request in TST, we receive the following error response {    "@odata.context": "https://iberdrola-fsm-tst.ifs.cloud/OData/$metadata#Edm.String",    "value": "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.\r\n"}We tested the same request in the DEV environment and this is working correctly, the issue could not be reproduced.

Hi there IFS community!We want to manage both internal cost and potential sales price based on Time Type — without splitting the resource group? For example, electricians working during daytime cost the business $100/hour, but if they work at night, they cost $180/hour — all within the same resource group, but using different report code or Time Type? Is it possible to configure this in IFS Cloud without needing separate inventory parts or resource groups — just by using Time Type  and internal price configuration?  Thanks in advance!  

Hi ,I have created new committ  rule with rule type ”Commit overtask type”   our expectation is PSO should commit tasks based on  task types .but its not working for me could you please suggest.  Step:1 I have added  task types steps2: Created  2 commit rules and mapped with task types individually(ss1)Step:3 Created rule collection and mapped 2 rules under one rule collection. time horizon will be the difference  one is 4r and another one is 1hrStep:4  Mapped rule collection to a resources.Step4: mapped same rule collection at resource level

Since changing to 24R2 and SU14-19  any work tasks that have previously had an incompleted work assignment are not closing on completion of the final assignment. The MWO user closes the task and there is no further work to be completed, however the work task retains all the closing information but NOT the actual finish date and the task remains at work started. This is due to the time to completion field having a value on the Incompleted assignment. Prior to the update, no value was stored here and work tasks changed to Work Done automatically. IFS thinks there is still outstanding time on the task.It now requires manual intervention to close these tasks down.Is there a way to stop the time to completion field being populated? The engineer cannot set this to zero on MWO and I cant find a way to delete the time to completion field in the Assignment.We do not use the direct allocations method to send work to device. Assign work or PSO scheduling.Any advice

In 25R1, when we define the Service Notes in Request the same is not flowing to Request Work Tasks. can any one know about this ?

Hi, currently we have Task Notes being copied up to Request Notes as a ‘Task History’ line code note, what mechanism or process controls this? i cant see a Business Rule or App Parameter that controls this behaviour.  I need to add extra data to it (Original Text Block code used for eg). I could recreate this with a new Business Rule, but would need to turn the existing functionality off.  Is this possible at all?Thanks

 Hi all,Within the Edit Address work task, I’m able to define a task end location.We are using manual allocation.However, it’s not clear to me how this end‑location information is passed to MWO or the Dispatch Console (given that we’re not using PSO). Specifically, I’m trying to understand how the technician is informed not only of the initial task location, but also of the final destination.Essentially, it works like defining a route segment with a start and end point, but without using a linear asset.Could someone please provide some guidance on how this is intended to work?Thank you 

I am looking to create a business rule that performs an action at a 2x specific time of day, every day. For example at 8am and 8pm every single day.  Im assuming ill be using the ‘perform_send_to_monitor’ XML Business Rule, however the only implementations i currently have of this, trigger events at either a specific Time/Date value, or in x minutes or hours.  The specific Time/Date value would work once, but i need to to be a reoccuring event. Any ideas how i would need to achieve this? Also, the FSM documentation n the relevant section refers to ‘Perform Message’ report. Where do i find this report? ThanksMartinF

Hello experts,We currently use CSV XML maps to generate files and store them in an internal FTP location. Due to security concerns, we are changing our approach and plan to use an Azure File Share (shared location provided from the IFS side) instead.We have already requested and received the SAS token information, and we are able to access the file share using the provided SAS token via Azure Storage Explorer.Our requirement is to generate files using the existing CSV XML maps and store them directly in this Azure File Share location.We first attempted to use a message routing rule with the FileExtractHandler, but this resulted in an “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” error.   

Hello All, Is it possible to limit the list of locations to only the contract customer?  When the connection type of Location is chosen Cloud return all locations in the system.  Can we make the LOV list filter only to the contract CustomerId + any Additional CustomerIds?    Thanks to all in advance

I am trying to send Integration messages to PSO to create a bunch of resources & there shifts/skills/ect. Then send in an activity with an appointment template to then use PSO Workbench to book the appointment.However, i cannot seem to get it to work & have observed some very strange behavior that would love any information about.First let me set the stage!Here is what my resources & shifts look like:I created an activity that matches 3 of my resources (in fact you can also see its already scheduled above to 1 of them):But when i go to appointment booking i see this (all slots on Monday are unavailable):

We are facing an issue with the De-Kit functionality and would appreciate your guidance.When performing Kit functionality, after posting, all related items for the part are loaded correctly. However, the same behavior is not occurring for De-Kit after posting. The perform_create_kit MPM is not being triggered when executed via the XML poster, even though the correct parameters are being passed.Could you please confirm whether this is expected behavior for De-Kit, or if there are any additional configurations or steps required to enable this?Please let us know if you need any further details from our side.

Hello,I’m having an issue with a web client script. The script checks the current task_status and builds a dropdown list based on that value. If task_status = 'APPOINTMENT', the dropdown should include APPOINTMENT. If task_status ≠ 'APPOINTMENT', then APPOINTMENT should be excluded. Test 1: When I test this using my own role, the script behaves correctly.
