Warranty Not Applied to Request Scope When Created from Case Handover

Hi,

I have observed the following behavior and would like to understand whether this is expected or if there is any setup that may be missing.

When a Service Request is created directly for a Service Object that has an active customer warranty, the warranty is automatically applied to the newly created request scope, and the price rule from the warranty is correctly derived.

However, when the Service Request is created through a Case handover process, the warranty is not applied to the request scope.

Has anyone come across this behavior before?

Is there any specific setup required for warranty validation when a request is created from a Case handover?
Should the warranty and associated price rule be automatically inherited in this scenario as well?
Or could this be a product defect?

We are using IFS Cloud 26R1 and would appreciate any guidance or insights.

Thanks,
Nethmini
