Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

Can anyone suggest how to capture Response in FSM from a external system/foreign system while doing outbound integration.In short i am trying to send outbound data  from FSM to ERP. when i send(FSM) purchase requisition they are(ERP) sending some responses but that response i am not able to capture in FSM. Please help me what are the settings or configuration i need to do to capture the responses.

Hi ,FSM 6.7 Version can support till which ios operating system version ? 

The view, MMA_REQUEST_HISTORY_VIEW is what controls the product history on Customer records in FSM Mobile.The issue with how this is set up is that if there are multiple tasks on a request, it only shows notes for the first task # and nothing after that. As a business that uses multiple tasks this effects on mobile users.  Does anyone have a work around to this ? or have they modified these screens to accommodate this?

Hi,How to link tab in task to the request tab in FSM smart client, example how part need tab in task linked to request part need tab.Once part need is created in task, same will be reflecting in request part need tab, Please suggest how to do it for custom tabs. Which web browser is recommended for FSM Web client?

We see mass updates happening all day for 1 record at a time. Based on the user i can have a guess at what its updating but is there anyway to verify exactly what it updated? i looked up the run log ID in the server logs without any results. tried to pinpoint the time in the log but that didnt show me much either.  

Hi All,I am working on one of the FSM Mobile Project where I need to Add/ Edit the data on a screen saving the data 5 different  tables. The layout of the screen should be in the Tab struture and each table should be associated each tab of the screen. Can it be done by Mobile Designer or do I need to go for code customization?Any help would be much appreciated !!!

FSM 5.7 mobile users upload attachments, they are showing under the task. However there are some exceptions that when trying to access the attachment, turns out its not there and not savedThe follow error will populate( see below)checked the folder for attachments and can confirm it does not exist. How is this happening and is there any way to stop it?  haven't been able to re-create it unfortunately

Hi Team, I am getting the error as “Http failure response for api/fsm/insertUpdate: 0 Unknown Error” while using client script for web instance. I am using updateRow function in my client script. Even though the data is updated as expected but the error keeps coming on screen.

Hi,Something as a business we have wanted to do for a long time is build a fresh data set for our technicians along the line of a knowledge base. I believe in FSM that Solutions would be the place to start build this information. Looking at the table structure, I can build a solution for a particular model, product family and name and do the content that bit is pretty straight-forward.After that is there a specific business rule that would then link a request when created to a solution, or would that be a custom business rule?  I would then assume once the Request is linked to a solution this would be need to be synchronised to the tablet for the technician to view and also add comments. Any guidance, experience etc. using Solutions would be greatly appreciated. RegardsAdy

quick context:  we have FSM & NAV integrated within each other. Somehow, our the sequence of contacts stopped matching the last sequence in FSM is 55912 and NAV is 52614. So when NAV is making a contact that clashes with FSM, its overwriting tons of information, including place records. Anyways, is there a way to change where the series continues from? can i have it jump up to 60,000 for example on the next entry? right now when i click new it goes to 52767 (which is 3000 less than the last record)

I am getting an error while creating a package in fsm. The error message states that the sequence and sub sequence is already exists. Could any one help me on this.

Dear Experts,Please give us some input on the below scenario.A field technician will will upload a photo/document from his mobile and the same will be updated in FSM back office. Now the question is how we can send those uploaded  documents to a 3rd part system like DMS.Should we develop a interface for this? 

We have a requirement in FSM ,for any miscellaneous adjustment system should trigger a approval workflow and upon approval the adjustment happens.Is it feasible in FSM? Is there any approval mechanism present in FSM.Please let me know.Regards,RR Patnaik 

this is running FSM 5.7it seems that the service history for request and tasks is delayed in getting to the mobile platformi already checked the sync rules and it happens as a BATCH ALL at 9 PM every night. Nothing has been touched from the OOTB integration. For example i am looking at a request that was closed 10 days ago yet still doesn't show on the mobile platform.However when i initialize the history is immediately there.How can i fix this so that it shows up at least on the daily sync? 

Hi,Can we remove the post button from the Out of the Box FSM Mobile Stock Count Screen? As we don’t want our technician to post the stock Count.Can we do this with the New custom screen? Any help would be much appreciated !!!

what is the use of mm_message_out table in FSM?mm_message_out table is writing  2 million records daily and it is causing my table space to be increased by 40 GB per day oracle SYSLOB Segment. what is the use of this table. Need your support in finding the root cause of this issue.

Hello,New to this role but since Dec 31, it seems that our integration schedules are not running and are unable to use the Run Now too. I have restarted the following items but with no success. I have tried the following items that have worked before:Refreshing Cache Refresh Integration Cache Restarting FSMProd Integration Monitor Services (On Server) Restarting App Pools FSMLinkService Mgd FSMProd Mgd  FSMRestService Mgd We currently have IFS FSM, version 5.6.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In FSM Mobile how  to configure the mobile db to shared NAS Drive?In FSM, Mobile_Database_Directory is set to the server default path like ‘C/inetpub/wwwroot/xxxx/mobiledb’ . Is it possible to set the Mobile_Database_Directory to the NAS drive mapped to the server. So the user db will be created in the Nas drive.?  

Generating our quarterly contracts. using the contract PM request generation in Contracts Manager It’s stuck in processing and wont actually generate any of them. Checked the server log and found the follow message: Message: PerformContractPMRequestGeneration. This row has been removed from a table and does not have any data.  BeginEdit() will allow creation of new data in this row. Not sure what is stopping it based off this error @Mike The FSM TechnoGeek - any idea what this is pointing to?

How to access the smart client application through reverse proxy server?FSM Application has been installed in the application server. IN front of application server we have DMZ - Server which is exposed to internet where we have configured the reverse proxy.Now the end user need to access the smart client application through internet from the reverse proxy user. 

Trying to find out why this run is stuck in processing.Is there some where that will show me what is holding it back? I’ve deleted and regenerated more than once.
