Project Cost element mapping with Shop Order Cost

Hi,Customer needs to analyses material, labour and OH cost in project connected shop order separately in the project monitoring. So, I followed below steps in 25R1 environment. Create the posting cost group as Labour, Material and OH and connected to respective cost bucketConnect 3 WIP GL accounts for M40 posting using control type posting cost groupThen create the shop order connecting to project and release the shop order. Then it appears cost breakup correctly in Project monitoring pageScreen Preview 1 - Shop Order is in Planned Status Screen Preview 2 - Shop Order is in Released Status However, once I close the shop order all cost shown under one cost elementScreen Preview 3 - Shop Order is in Closed Status Is there any additional setup that we need to do or is this the normal system behaviour?Appreciate if anyone can give insight on this Best RegardsNarmada

Project function

We are wanting to start to use the project function within IFS Cloud, has anyone got any guidance on how to start to set it up. Currently, we really only need it for analysis purposes - we are not trying to collate it to invoice it.So the easiest way to get started is what we need at the moment,

Fixed Asset depreciation split

We have just started using the fixed asset functionality on IFS Cloud.We have numerous assets with the same object group, however, we would like only the depreciation to use different departments when creating the depreciation proposal.I have tried setting up a preposting (as i note in previous chats this has been advised), using the code part distribution and adding what i wanted, however, this does not pull through onto the depreciation proposal Any ideas?

Lobby Navigation - based on Invoice Type (v10)

Hello IFS Community,--IFS version: v10As part of one of our lobbies, we’re trying to enable users to navigate to the applicable screen/form based on the record from the lobby and its invoice type. In other words and as displayed in the image, trying to navigate to the invoice in Preliminary status based on its invoice type (eg. If Instant Invoice, go to such form and if Cust Order, go to Customer Invoice).Note that in order to join invoices in Preliminary status, we created a custom data source.Thanks in advance.

How do i connect an attachment from customer/supplier invoice to the voucher row

Dear Team,Am having a question, where i ahve an attachments on my customer invoice screen but when i check the invoice voucher on the GL voucher row screen, i do not see the attachments from invoice. Is there a way to connect the attachments from invoice to voucher or any other options?Thanks in advance

BACS Payment Advice Report - split by Supplier Code

We have reporting rules set-up to process individual payment advice prints.However, it appears that, when you make a BACS payment run, it doesn’t split the payment advice up into seperate Print Jobs. You just get one big file with all the suppliers details in. We want to e-mail each supplier their individually - has anyone had this issue/found a workaround/solution?

Supplier Remittance - PDF not attaching

Interco invoicing - IFSAPP not part of the company

Dear Finance experts, I’m testing the intercompany material flow and everything goes well  until I send the Customer Invoice in company A to company B.Connectivity Out Message is created and transferred.Connectivity In message - company B - fails with error message: ORA-20111: UserFinance.RECNOTEXIST: Access denied! User IFSAPP is not connected to Company B In case I don’t wanna grant access to IFSAPP to all the companies, is there any other way to setup the Outbox / Inbox messages so that they are run by another user?

Posting Proposals navigation from lobby in Aurena

I have seen the idea with title “Posting Proposal page search/filtering doesn't exist like other Aurena pages” , The explanation to this limitation is the following:The destination page - “Posting proposals” is designed in a different way than regular Aurena pages: it uses functions as the data source for the list element on this page. With this design, the current Aurena framework cannot support search/filtering support for this page. So navigations from the lobby or elsewhere cannot give the desired filtering here. (Note that even the “Search“option is not available for this page) As the posting proposals window is central in all invoice follow up, it is very unfortunate that filtering from lobby element is not working.My question to all you smart people in IFS Community is; Is there a possibility to navigate from lobby element and instruct the Posting Proposal page through parameters to open with a pre-defined search? Best regardsIrene

Cost Element mapping for Shop Order

Hello, Reaching out for your expert advice.I have a shop order connected to a Project. The transactions are generated as in the table. At the cost bucket, the Inventory value gets distributed in Labour, Overhead and Direct Materials, but at Project Monitoring the cost split between cost elements - Labour, Overhead and Material is also to be displayed.How should the cost elements be mapped to display those elements in Project Monitoring? Thank you.

Periodical Capitalization and Revenue Recognition

 Hello,I need your help to understand and find out if I am doing something wrong (perhaps incorrect settings).I placed a purchase order related to the project for a value of €1,000. The part is entered into stock at €1,000.I take the part out of the project and it comes out at 172.92 (Valo PUMP).I see that I have a value of 827.08 in my project stock, but I no longer have the part in stock, so it's 827.08. Different Currency Rates In Customer Invoice Postings

While reviewing the Cloud Environment, I encountered an error where the Customer Invoice posting lines reflect different currency rates, resulting in a mismatch in the parallel currency.Could you kindly help clarify the following: Why are different currency rates being applied to the posting lines? What steps can we take to prevent this issue from occurring in the future?

GL Balance Analysis - How to configure default Group Data

Hi IFS ExpertWe would like to improve the Group data by default to all the user of the GL Balance Analysis. This is our default settings and we would like to change themI have already prepared some basic changes in the Selection Criteria or the colomn order but I cannot find where I can configure the Group Data setup in the Page Designer. Payment Term 95 days after end of month of receipt of invoice

Hello I would like to setup payment terms such that the due date is 95 days after the end of month of receipt of invoice. So for example, if the invoice date is September 14, then the due date is 95 days after September 30.   Any guidance would be much appreciated.

CAMT.053 automatic matching of supplier payment

Dear experts What is your approach for the automatic supplier payment matching with a CAMT.053 file? On a customer environment (Apps 10, update 15), we have set up CAMT.053 and it works fine for customer payments. What we are missing so far is the automatic matching of the supplier payments with the corresponding payment order. When the CAMT file is loaded into IFS no automatic matching takes place and the order ID has to be added manually (e.g. in the mixed payment window):  Is there a way in IFS standard to automate this process. E.g. when creating a supplier payment order to add the order ID into the payment order XML file (reference tag), so that this information can later be used in the CAMT file for automatic matching with the referred payment order?   Many thanks in advance. Best Regards,Lukas

Segregation of Duties - Functional Areas Import

Hi,Has anyone implemented Segregation of Duties in the cloud.If so, are you willing to export the Functional Areas you have added so that others can import these?It seems crazy that there are none set up as default and that we all need to create these from scratch. There are obvious ones (like Supplier Payment Addresses) that we would all be interested in. Aurena SOD - External GRC Tool

We use Xpandion for GRC (governance risk and compliance).  IEE supports SOD through external sources by providing mapping.  However, with Aurena projections, we can’t seem to find the same support and manually mapping 70k projections is impossible.  Has anyone connected IFS to an external GRC tool?  If so, how have those projection mappings happened for you?  If not, has the internal IFS SOD Analysis been sufficient for your SOX compliance and audit needs?

Customer Credit Control - Group Level

Hi,Is there a functionality in IFS to check credit control on group level?For example Customer IDs are global and it can be assigned many companies in same group. The customer can have a credit block in one company due to credit limit. But still another company will be selling without considering that the customer is credit blocked in one company. IFS Cloud 2025R1 - ISO 20022 Payment Format for BofA USD Check Payments

Hello,My team is working on implementing a payment functionality for USD check payments to Bank of America (BofA) using IFS Cloud 2025R1. We were advised by IFS R&D to use the ISO20022A1 payment format for this purpose.We've set up the payment order and created the payment file. However, we've encountered a few issues and have a key question for the community on how this is intended to work. The Problem The payment format generates an application message with the MESSAGE_FUNCTION hard-coded to SEND_SEPA_CREDIT_TRANSFER.This results in the generated XML file using a SEPA schema and an explicitly defined SEPA namespace, despite the payment data being for a USD check.This seems to be a fundamental mismatch, as SEPA is a Euro-based electronic transfer standard, not a format for USD check payments. Questions for the Community  Is the ISO20022A1 format the correct and standard format to use for non-SEPA, USD check payments in IFS? Is the hard-coded SEND_SEPA_CREDIT_TRANSFER message fun

Received - Not Yet Invoiced Report in IFS Cloud

In APPS10 there is a Received - Not Yet Invoiced report.  I have searched and this report should be in IFS Cloud but I am not able to find it.  I understand it may be under GNRI or Goods Received Not Invoiced but I am not finding those either. Where is this report in IFS Cloud?

Configuration challenges in ISO20022 US for ACH payments

In the payment file group header, the initiating party details will be provided. As per the bank, there should be 2 other ID tags (i.e., Initiating party tags) in the payment file group header.In the first tag, it’s picking the Initiating party <Id>xxxxxxx</Id> and SchemeNm <Cd>CUST</Cd>, which we are able to generate in the file. When it comes to the second tag, the only possible option I could see in the ISO20022 Format specific Info per Institue is by providing the details in the ‘Debtor identification info’ and by enabling the option ‘Repeat in Initiating party identification level’ but the Debtor identification details are different from the initiating part details in our case.So how can we achieve the second other ID tag (<Id>REMITTANCE</Id> <SchmeNm  <Cd>BANK</Cd>) in the payment file group header?<GrpHdr>      <MsgId>DNB_</MsgId>      <CreDtTm>2017-04-03T09:27:40</CreDtTm>      <NbOfTxs>4<

TPAR -Australian localization IFS2531

Hi all We are implementing IFS Cloud for the first time.We can’t reconcile the Payments & GST on the standard TPAR report (TPAR, S108) in IFS 25R1. The file format is compatible with the ATO, however we can't validate the values on the report against Supplier Payments.Is this an issue for others?
