In Cloud 24R1 we have an issue at a customer who is not able to match a supplier invoice against a PO which is created from a Work Task as WT is closed and PO also closed.Users have finished the work tasks,  When trying to match the PO receipt once supplier invoice is received it is not possible unless user re open the closed work task.There should be a way to avoid this right? there has been a bug fix around this in App 10 it seemsfound a similar case year ago but don’t know if it was solved , anyone facing similar issue in new cloud versions and found a fix? Issue on matching invoices on PO receipt from Work Task | IFS Community

We’ve created a Customer Order that includes both regular order lines and rental lines, all of which are linked to the corresponding project and activity sequence. However, in the Project, the planned revenue is being updated only for the normal order lines, not for the rental lines.Am I missing any specific setup for this?Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Comminuty, I have been trying to get multiple external payments created for different cash accounts (multiple currencies) through the same CAMT054 file with no luck. Receives the following error: ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$PermanentFailureException: ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [LOAD_FILE_ID] is mandatory for Ext File Log and requires a value. The file contains 3 notifications for EUR, USD and SEK iban numbers. Is this not supported by us or are we missing something in the configuration? When I remove the rest of the notifications and try the same file with a single notification, it works and creates an external payment for the relevant cash account.   Appreciate if someone could assist to confirm if this is supported as the customer is currently receiving this from their bank.  BR!

Hi,I am trying to load a bank statement in CAMT.053 format into 25R1 Cloud DEV environment.File is successfully loaded through IFS Connect but I am getting this error message:“A Payer/Payee Identity does not exist. A parked payment will be created using company '500'”Supplier is created. Manual Supplier Invoice was posted and supplier payment proposal was generated from the same environment in ISO20022 payment format.The message codes are created as follows: In this example, in the xml file I have message code “225” Supplier Payment and “249” Bank Fees.Can someone please help me understand why message codes are not recognized?Thanks.

When making changes to the Invoice Posting Authorizer Groups, is there an automatic update task that can be run to update existing invoice posting proposals to display the new authorizer and update the Invoices to Authorize page?I start by updating the Authorizer Group: Then navigating to an existing posting proposal with pending authorization that is assigned to the same group: When I view Authorizer Group Members, the changes do not seem to have been carried over: The system will still let me authorize the posting proposal, however this invoice does not appear on Invoices to Authorize page: The only way I can resolve this is by manually changing the authorizer on the posting proposal and pointing it back to the same Authorizer Group, but due to the volume of invoices that are processed, this is not really a feasible solution. Whilst I appreciate that new invoices will reflect the updated authorizer group, we still need existing invoices to be updated when a user has left the business

Hi IFS network,I have an issue at a customer who is not able to match a supplier invoice against a PO which is created from a Work Task. The Work Task is in status finished, now it is not possible anymore to match the invoice against the PO receipt (only when you reopen teh work task it is possible again). I see that from UPD16 there is a fix deployed, see  This fix was related to invoices without a PO reference. I think it should be possible to match an invoice with a PO Receipt, even when the connectexd Work Task is in status finished. Normally the person who is responsible for the status of work tasks is not the same as the person who is booking the invocies. The invoice will come weeks later than the work is executed, so this is really a timing issue.Please advice on this issue @Thommy and @Nethmini Kosvinna

Hi,We are recording customer advance payments through Mixed Payment, and we’ve noticed that the voucher is sometimes generated with PP10 (Parked Payments Received) and other times with PP8 (Customer Claims, Pre-Payment). We’re unable to identify the reason for this behavior, even though the input details are the same in both cases.We are selecting the Payment Type as ‘Enter Customer Payment’ and entering the Customer ID in the ‘Payer/Payee Identity’ field along with the amount.Could someone please help us understand the reason for this inconsistency? Hi IFS Community, We’ve come across a bit of a challenge on one of our projects and I’m wondering if anyone in the community has dealt with something similar.A supplier delivered materials that didn’t meet the required specs. Unfortunately, these materials were already used in the build before the issue was picked up. The project team has since identified that this could lead to issues down the line, so they’ve raised a charge back to the supplier.The complication is that the team recorded this charge back as revenue recognition under a contract change order. Executive management has pointed out that this may not be correct, since the supplier was not a subcontractor but a vendor we engaged through a purchase order.Has anyone else experienced a situation like this? How did you handle it in terms of both financial posting (IFS Finance) and project setup (IFS Projects/Procurement)?Any guidance on best practice for processing the charge back correctly in IFS would be really appreciated.Th

Hi allI have an issue. i try to send a supplier payment advice via media output email. i do receive an email but with no attachment. here is the event action i createdwhen i checked the archive all advices has printstatus 0. the ones with the 1 i printed manually from the report archive. also the application message is finedoes anyone have a clue why i dont get an attachment. Best RegardsSophal

We have 5 fixed asset objects in IFS that we had in our books for several years but no depreciation has been made on them, they have been marked exclude from depreciation.Now we have to depreciate them this year but when we change the setting to be included the depreciation is starting back in time, from when they where acquired.  We found a solution to starting depreciation a specific date by creating a new depreciation method but we still have an issue for 2 of the 5 fixed assets objects. They where depreciated once in 2018 and therefor we can't change the depreciation method so we still need help with a solution for those two objects.  Its not possible to add a new line or remove the existing line under the book tab 

Hello,How have Swedish IFS customers resolved the case about business presentation when the deductible tax is not based on VAT percent but an deductible amount?For example, the VAT in total is 314,32 SEK ( food is 12 % and alcohol is 25 % VAT) but depending on how many people there are, you can deduct more or less VAT. what is the difference between the raw mathing and head matching?

Jinsu virtual invoices are  transferred from “Virtual Invoices in Progress page”. The file automatically goes to the user download folder.  The customer requires it to be stored on the FTP server. This is only possible if running the Jinsui Export file once again using the External File Assistant. Through a routing rule / routing address setup, it is possible to set the path to the folder on the FTP.Issue is that the export can only be done for one virtual invoice at the time. The customer has around 1000 invoices so this solution will not fit.Is there anyone who have come across the same issue and found a solution to have the Jinsui file stored on the FTP without having the user to manually move the file from their download folder to the FTP?

Hello , Since October 1st, we no longer receive the return receipt for invoices sent by Hacienda Spain. The invoices are indeed received by Hacienda, but we receive the error message at the bottom. Hi,In some instances we want to enter a Supplier Invoice but we do not want IFS to automatically match it to the Purchase Order receipts - for example if there are lots of received lines for a PO but multiple invoices, each with only one or two lines. The first invoice for the PO matches to all the PO Lines. Then subsequent invoices match to nothing.We can remove the lines that are automatically matched and then match manually.Just wondered if you could switch the automatic match of for a single Supplier.Any help, much appreciated.Cheers,Graham

Could someone explain under which conditions these postings are created? We have some trouble understanding the mathematics of these postings and I have tried to provoke the system to produce them in a test environment. But so far I have failed.  My test cases are built upon serial tracked parts with Weighted Average, Cost per Part or Cost per Condition, and Distribution Orders between sites in the same company. NB that the same parts and sites have resulted both in INTORDTR transactions with ORDTREVAL postings and without such postings. 

Project Time Transactions are creating a T Voucher in the General Ledger. The Voucher Row for PRJT2 is being summarised and shows as a single line with the description “Summarised customers costs”. Is there a way to show the detail. Same is happening for PRJT13.We are time reporting for Contractors and would like to see the details for each contractor so we can  use Account Matching to match the Supplier Invoice Postings with the Time Transactions. Otherwise we have yet to find what report we can use to identify the balance left in the Account by the PRJT13 postings (similar to a Received Not Yet Invoiced Report).Thanks for any help.Graham

 Hi Everyone, A few questions for you... Has anyone got any examples of how customers have created structured reports for the cash planning details? Has anyone done any work with a customer on long term cash planning, and any advice on how to best use cash planning without too many manual cash flows given there might not be sufficient PO/CO detail to cover long term supply/demand? Has anyone used business plans or budgets to feed into cash planning, if so, how?Many thanks Udanee
