Multilevel repair shop order issue

can you think of why on a multilevel repair shop order, after issuing the top level make part (serialized) the multilevel repair structure tab stays greyed out? I am currently experiencing this, this serial has been through a multi-level repair shop order once already to salvage some parts and now more parts need to be salvaged but its not working

Interim order error CTO by-products

Hello,When configuring a CTO with by-products in IFS Cloud, we need an interim order to be created. However, when attempting to create the interim order, I receive the following message:“No buildable routing revision/alternative exists for part xxxx at Site on the date 2-SEPT-25.”I checked part xxxx and confirmed that the part type is set to "by-product." It does not contain a routing and/or a product structure.What could be causing this error?Kind regards,Willem

How to allow user permissions for the Close Operation" Option In "Shop Floor Workbench"

We have encountered that the "Close Operation" option in "Shop Floor Workbench" is only working when performed by User Id: IFSAPP USER However, when same action is attempted using a different user ID, with same permission grants the action is blocked by the system (Error message states user has not been granted with required permissions

Disassembly Shop Order Scrap Factor

Dear community,When you create a disassembly shop order, we can see the supply quantity based on the scrap factor when when you try to receive it, the system populates the Remaining quantity to receive. Shop Order does not even close the shop order if you only receive the the supply quantity (highlighted below) and and it wait to auto close until remaining quantity is received. Is this scrap factory only used for a planning purpose? Is there a way to get the supply qty as the default qty to be received and auto close the shop order once received that quantity?

Purchase Order Cost - Charges and Additional Cost

Hello community,In the cost set 5, i am calculating the cost for a purchased material and copying the cost to cost set 1. Everything looks perfect here. When i do a receipt of the same part, the cost detail is not split by the cost buckets properly. it is only picking the first line from P-140 cost template. For testing purposes, i deleted the cost bucket 140 from P-140 cost template. Then the cost was created with next cost bucket in the template which is 160. Anyone knows how to split the cost properly for inventory transaction receipt?Thanks Furkan

Where can I find a date when component part was added into product structure?

We have Held for operation (component part) that we add when we hold a shop order for XYZ reasons, I want to identify when I am adding a component part of held for, where can I see the date when part was added, trying to see the dormancy of held for.

Attaching multiple objects in IFS Cloud

Is there a way to attach multiple parts to a change request at once.  In Apps8 we could copy and paste objects.  Also, is there a way to copy multiple parts to a document at once or multiple documents to a change request..

CRO - Repair Shop Order Project Connection

If a repair shop order is created from component repair order is there any way in IFS to attach the shop order material to project inventory supply type? After that we want PMRP job to create demand for those materials. IFS does not seem to have anyway to convert consumed materials to Project Inventory.

Time Clock is showing wrong time

We have about 20 timeclocks and they all appear to have the same time which is about 3 minutes behind the correct time.  The servers all show the correct time and the desktops running them all have the correct time so is there somewhere in IFS to adjust the timeclock time?

Is there a way to configure IFS to only Issue or Backflush from a specific location for shop orders?

Hello team, I looking to see if there is a way we can configure IFS only issue/backflush material that is in the Work Center’s Inbound location for a shop order? I’ve tried updating the the Work Center Outside Reserve/Backflush to Not Allowed (this option will not allow shop order reservations until they are moved to Inbound location) and Reserve Only (this option will allow me to reserve from where I would like but does not stop me from issuing material that is not in the inbound locations). Thanks in advance!

Direct Supply for Remanufacturing

Dear community, What is the best way to handle following scenario?You have a manufacturing part A with components B and C as purchase parts. Part A manufactured from a Shop Order and but it was faulty. Rather than scrapping it, we need to take out Part B out and Remanufacture Part A using that disassembled Part B and issuing Part C again from stock.I created Manufacturing structure for Part A,Created a Disassembly Structure for Part A and part B as the produced partThen Created Remanufacturing Structure for Part A However, when I try to set a Direct supply for the Remanufacturing to have a connected disassembly shop order to extract part B, you have to enter Part A and supply type Disassembly in the Remanufacturing Structure/Direct Supply tab but the system does prevents it saying “The direct supply part cannot be the same as the structure header part”.This works perfectly fine if Part B produced from different disassembly part but it seems functionality does not cover the above scenar

Traceability report - Lot/Batch tracking

Hi,Is there any page or report in IFS that shows full traceability for lot/batch-tracked parts?Our top-level part is serial tracked, and all components/subassemblies are lot/batch tracked, including raw materials. Lot/batch tracking is order-based.The main goal is to have something that shows the full path from finished goods (serial tracked) to the raw materials used (lot/batch tracked). Many thanks

Change from manufactured to purchased in DOP order

Hi, is it possible to change the supply of a DOP order from manufactured to purchased? A part in in my structure is manufactured. However, due to capacity constraints,, I want to purchase it. What’s the easiest way to do this update in the DOP?

Capacity alignment between Work Center and Labor Class

We can define for both Work Centers and Labor Classes whether they are going to use Finite or Infinite Capacity. Is it recommended as best practice that these 2 settings be aligned?If for whatever reason we need to have one value set to Finite Capacity and the other set to Infinite Capacity, which of the two will have precedence.What would the impact of this scenario be if we were to use Capacity Requirements Planning

Cycle count report will not generate for warehouse with availability controls on the parts.

We have a availability control on parts in one warehouse.  The availability control is set to Nettable, not auto reservation, not manual reservation, not order issue, scrapable, allow reducing (on Part Counting Control), all allowed for part movement control and non-order issue.  For some reason we can’t create a cycle count report for this warehouse location.  It looks like it is due to the availability controls on the part but I need to verify that is the case.  Can anyone confirm my suspicion or help me figure out why these will not pull on a cycle count report.  We used not counted in zero days to generate the report.  We are in IFS Apps 10 UPD21.

How to connect a change order to a Parked shop order ?

Non consumed items with the quantities in APP9

A quick functional question related to DOP which I encountered with one of the customers. Questions: In APP9 DOP orders have the non-consumed items with the quantities. More specifically, unlike in APP8, when we bring in DOP structures in APP9, the structures come in with quantity for all non-consumed components. Like your advice and view point on this regards.
