Replan Customer Order Lines

Hello everyone,I’m trying to use the REPLAN Customer Order Lines function in IFS Cloud, but my customer order lines are not being updated as expected. Here’s my scenario:Part setup: Inventory part, MRP planning, availability check enabled. Stock: No parts in stock. Supply: Purchase Order is planned and expected to arrive (see details below). Customer Order Line: Created and released, linked to the above part. When I run REPLAN CO LINE: The customer order line is not updated (planned delivery date does not change).Questions:Are there any specific settings or prerequisites I might be missing (e.g., supply code, sourcing rule, capability check, etc.)? No parts in stockPO planned to arrive as per below  Customer Order Line as MRP Planning

Two stage RFQ and Quotation available in IFS cloud? If not, is this on the IFS roadmap?

Two stage RFQ and Quotation available in IFS cloud? The two-stage RFQ process involves the submission by the suppliers of a technical quote and a commercial quote. The technical quotes are opened and evaluated first to determine a list of qualified suppliers, and only then are the commercial quotes of the qualified suppliers opened and evaluated.

Handling "Other Charges" (e.g. Customs Duty) Invoiced by a Different Supplier in PO Process

We are currently using IFS Applications 10 (UDP 10), and we would like clarification on how to properly handle "Other Charges" such as Customs Duty that are invoiced by a different supplier than the one supplying the goods on the Purchase Order.Scenario:Goods are ordered from Supplier A via a standard Purchase Order.Customs Duty is incurred as an "Other Charge" on the PO.The duty is invoiced separately by Supplier B (e.g. a customs broker or freight forwarder).We want the customs cost to be included in inventory valuation and cost of goods, but the actual invoice is from a different supplier than on the PO.Questions:What is the recommended way in IFS Applications 10 to:Add such "Other Charges" to a PO?Ensure correct accounting and costing (including inventory value)?Book the customs invoice from Supplier B correctly?Is there a standard process or best practice for this scenario (e.g. use of manual supplier invoices, linking to posting control, or landed cost configuration)?

Associating/Linking Two Orders

Does anything currently exist that allows two orders to be linked or associated. Currently we have multiple orders that are associated based on Customer, or work requirement and it would be advantageous to have something that allows us to see the orders together.

Customer: Contact, Communication Method and inheritance to Custer Order Reference

Is there a screen to view all accounting errors in tax documents?

Hello every body!There is a screen to check error but is necessary to enter one by one to analyse.Don´t see option to run the post tax documento after change the setup error.Is there a screen that help to handle this errors? Thanks in advance!

Changing the Route Order for Report Picking of Pick Lines Sequence

We need to change the way our warehouse personnel pick parts from the warehouse. I believe the way we setup our warehouse locations when we first launched IFS may be the problem. This is one of our warehouse locations: 4012A. We assigned 40 to the row, 12 to the Tier and A to the Bay. So the row is correct. But the Bay or column should really be 12 and the Tier or level should really be A. This mis-assignment is causing our picking sequence to be inefficient. I believe the IFS default route order is Bay first then Row.So in our current situation a picker is routed to pick all parts in Bay A, row 40 first before picking any parts in Bay B, row 40. So essentially the picker is having to loop back to the beginning of Row 40 every time that person has to start picking from a different Bay.How do we change the Route Order so that we can pick by Tier first, then row since we are just reversing the default route order due our assignment problem? Message Setup by Customer Address

Is it possible to set a ‘Message Setup’ by customer address instead of having it either by customer or by the company connected to the customer?Would like to do E-Invoicing based on the Document Address on the Customer Order. Sometimes the address is going to a country that doesn’t require E-Invoicing even for the same site.Is this possible now? I can’t seem to find a way in standard. Or is there a future enhancement for this scenario?

Assembly cost from deliverable

Hi All, How I can get assembly cost in IFS specially if  I want to get the assembly cost for a particular deliverable. I tried to check in cost/hour tab in deliverable but it is taking the cost from supplier for purchase part not from the PO for that particular deliverable.

Customer order pre-posting 25R1SU3

Hi,We have upgraded to 25R1 SU3 last week and we can no longer pre-post our customers orders to accounting projects (financial project). IFS has introduced a bug fix SCZ 27798 and it is now mandatory to enter a project id (WBS project) in the customer order details tab if to want to entre pre-posting on the customer header.Has anybody else experienced this problem or can help us out ?Thanks and Regards,Anne-Sophie

DEMAND & SUPPLY (SUPPLY CHAIN) ORDERS

I am trying to create a Demand & Supply chain table (in terms of SO/PO). A is my top level demand (final product) and requires various other supplies to manufacture this, I am wanting to see all the supplies (multi level) that goes into that demand. Does WADACO_MOBILE_USER set need to be configured at an LTU permission set ?

Customer concern is related to : SCAN IT : WADACO_MOBILE_USER permission set. Customer was able to successfully conduct scanning operations with but users assigned to this permission set are classified as taking up a full user license. MRP Error

Hi, We get this error in the mrp for one of our sites, error is recieved during the MRP snapshot summary :Error ORA-20110: DeliveryRoute.ROUTEDATEPICK: Retrieving next work day from 02-FEB-53 using route has failed. The date is outside the interval of the calendar XXX. occurred while running Snapshot_Summary for Contract XXX. We do not want to extend the calendar this far ahead and would like to find what is causing this issue. We suspect user error inputting some data but are not able to find what is causing it.Checked parts with extremely long leadtimes, Demand far ahead, Supply chain matrix settings, Transport leadtimesWe are running IFS Apps 10 Any tips would be greatful/Anna

Internal trade setup

Hi,I try to setup an internal trade between company A & B where company A (site 1) is the buyer and company B (site 1) is the seller.  I can create purchase from A and send it to B but in Incoming customer orders there is something missing. I´ve seen in the community that this is a common error message and I´ve tried everything that was suggested but it is not picking up the customer. In the picture below I added customer manually but still gets an error message.   Is there some sort of check list on setting up internal trade as there are quite a lot to tweek to make it work :) Thanks! /Emma

Shipment ID Not creating

We have Shipment Types on our Customer Orders set to NR for “at order release”. However, when releasing the CO, it is not creating a shipment ID. It also does not allow for a manual one to be made. Any reasons why this is happening?

Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) field

Hi,Has anyone used the ECCN identifier in IFS?  Currently there doesn’t seem to be a place for this in the Item Master or other supporting tables.  If you have, how did you work around this?   We need to have it appear on certain outbound documents.

Able to authorize forwarded PO Authorization with lower limit

We have a case where we have forwarded the PO authorization to a person with lower Max Amount for PO. This person to is able to authorize even having that lover limit.Is it so that, if the original Authorization Step is assigned to Person A, he forwards the authorization to Person B, and Person B tries to Authorize. Then IFS checks the amount against the step in the Routing Template? That means, it still checks against Person A’s max amount and allow person B to do Authorize.

No Supplier fetched for Non-inventory part

Recently we encountered a strange error for a non inventory part which we used for a long time. We don’t know what has been modified in IFS for it to give this error:The supply code remains empty after I enter the non inventory part even though in the basic data it is set to Primary Supplier Direct.

Delay Cost of Goods Sold for Weighted Average Purchased Parts

I have a Purchased Part with Inventory Valuation Method set to Weighted Average (WA). It is also a Sales Part and the Company is set to Delay Cost of Good Sold to Delivery Confirmation.There is an existing quantity for this part with WA let’s say equal to 100 unit cost. I have created a customer order, reserved then delivered it. This created an inventory transaction history DELCONF-OU and DELCONF-IN with unit cost of 100. Before I execute a delivery confirmation, I created a new Purchase Order and changed the price to something that would change the WA. Received it into stock. WA has changed to for example 150 unit cost.Executed the CO Delivery Confirmation and it created a transaction DELIVCONF with unit cost 150. If I look at the overall postings for the CO, it is causing my GL Balance to have a balance for account in M1 posting type. Is this correct? Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Several lines on Transport task => new transport task

Hi, all of you experts,I’m using IFS Cloud and I have a question related to multiple lines to be moved with transport task. When using move inventory with transport task from Inventory part in stock I would like to have a new transport task created for the picked lines.In my case the selected lines will be added to an already existing transport task which is not yet executed. WMS Receive Outbound Delivery Confirmation in IFS Cloud

Hi All,How do we receive the outbound delivery confirmation from WMS now in IFS Cloud?In APPS10, we had been using WMSINT integrations for this functionality but since we won't be having this in the Cloud version, what are the alternatives in place?How do we receive info from WMS in Cloud?Do we have projections which can be used as replacements to achieve this? BR,Sumit K

Int Purch Trans Issue

Anyone have an idea on why this Int Purch Trans order isn’t flowing though completely? Both sites are setup as internal customers/suppliers. Other orders have flowed through these sites without issue. We’re currently on 24.2.6.

Functionality of Customer Calendars and Backorder Options in Apps with EDI ORDER Messages

We are working with EDI Orders and also intercompany MHS orders.In our customer settings, we have customer calendars, which are useful to enter Dates on which Customers will receive goods (as example, customer want to receive only on Monday goods, than the system will calculate the possible delivery date only on mondays.)It seems, that this function does not work, if the customer order is create from an EDI ORDER Message. Is that a bug, or depends it on the different way of order creation by EDI functionality? Same issue for Backorder Options, they will also ignored for EDI Orders.Is there any way to solve this problem?Thanks for your feedback.Andre
