Go to Any Shipment ID and go to Available Lines sub window.

Available Lines tab is taking some time to load and after a while it is getting timeout notification as attached below. Has anybody noticed any workaround for this?

Hi,

Which version of IFS Cloud are you running?

In recent versions we have done a major code change to improve performance in this tab.

Best Regards

Fredrik

Any work arounds found for this screen?
We were on 24R1 SU1 and there were no issues. The screen loaded in seconds. We have now put 24R1SU10 into our CFG and UAT environments and the screen is taking an average of 4+ minutes to load.

This is not ideal (some could argue not manageable) for our shipping teams and IFS Support is unable to provide an Out of Band solution due to the complexity of the correction. The only path provided is to update to 24R2 which is not feasible for us right now due to a new site implementation.

It seems strange that the performance is fine in 24R1 SU1 and then bad 24R1 SU10. I don’t believe that we have done any changes to this tab and the underlying view between these service updates. I think you need to check and compare the SQL explain plans in SU1 vs SU10. Are the explain plans different?

Filtering significantly reduces the wait time for the screen to load. For our teams and setup they’ve found that filtering on Site, Planned Delivery Date, and Available Qty > 0 reduces the wait to less than 10 seconds.

I am a bit confused here. This thread discuss the Shipment/Available Lines tab. In that one we don’t have the Site column as this is given from the Shipment in the header. Are you more refereeing to the Available Lines for Shipments page?

Many customers are creating their shipments automatically with all the rules you can setup for that. Then you don’t have to use these pages and the performance will be really good. Not sure if you have evaluated this option?

My apologies, yes, I was referring to the Available Lines for Shipment screen.

Thank-you. We’ll definitely look into that automation option.
