Express Order PR not re-usable

Is there any possibility to re-use the PR with Order Code 5 (Express Order) when the PO is cancelled?

Test Steps:

  1. Create a PR with Order Code 5 and Release the PR.
  2. It will automatically create the PO.
  3. Now cancel the PO.
  4. Go back to PR it is not reopening and unable to use again, similar to the Normal Order Code.

Appreciate any thoughts on this scenario.

Thank you.

Express PR is not supposed to be having manual steps to speed up the process, and that is why it directly goes to Closed status from Planned status. Hence reopening it and put it to status Released, and then require manual steps have never been the purpose.

Hi

I get the design…

BUT people make mistakes 🙄

So, if someone raises a PR and makes a mistake, with Express Orders, how do they recover?

Even if the PR could be cancelled after the PO is cancelled would be a good thing so they can start over. Otherwise we are left with a Closed PR. On the PR line it has the status ‘PO Created’ and the PO Num. Right-mouse and only then it opens and reveals the cancelled PO.

In our case, the PR is a Work Order based PR, so it makes aspects of the WO unusable.

Many thanks

Paul
