I have a Migration Job that uses the Excel Add-In and some of the custom fields are linked to views/tables, so I understand that the “_DB” value will be that of the OBJKEY/ROWKEY.  What I don’t understand is why I am receiving an integrity constraint error for NULL entries of the “_DB” columns.  one of my errors: “integrity constraint (IFSAPP.BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY5_CRK) violated - parent key not found”how can one prevent this for NULL values for non-mandatory custom fields? Sincerely,Vince K.

Hello,In migration Job, I would like to create a quick excel migration to modify a value of the field Tax_Liability in the LU Customer_Delivery_Tax_Info.But impossible tu update this field, excel add in refuse to let me modify this value. “Access denied. User SFAUR is not allowed to add/edit/delete users in the company”I tried with IFSAPP but same result… What is the option to grant me the right to update this kind of field !?

When trying to add employees through New Employment Assistant, upon clicking Finish button, an error message appears that states "The Employee Employed Period already exists." We think this is related to challenges with the DMM Data Migration tool.  The issue has to do with the EMP_EMPLOYED_TIME table. That table has a SEQ_NO field in it that is the primary key and was loaded during data migration. The Aurena client has a reference somewhere to a SEQ_NO that increases by 1 each time we try and save a new employee record. Somehow (possibly through the data migration process), the value in the client came out of sync with the underlying database. If you click save enough times (several thousand based on our load), it will eventually work and go through as the console log shows that each time someone clicks save, the SEQ_NO value in Aurena increments by 1. We need to have a way to reset the SEQ_NO for the EMP_EMPLOYED_TIME table that is stored in the Aurena client and set

In Apps 10, the set up for a Migration Job is in IEE.  Is there any way for a user to run an existing job from the Aurena interface?

HiI am migrating into Sales Price List Part (SALES_PRICE_LIST_PART)Method List is set to New and Modify.Ran the migration job and all records were imported.When I re-run the Migration Job I get an error ORA-20112: SalesPriceListPart.EXIST2: The Sales Price List Part object already exists.Does anyone know why I get this error? teh record does exist so it should be doing an update now, not an insert!Cheers,Graham 

We recently found an issue where we had to turn on a Data Mart Source. I noticed that all of them are set to inactive. Should they be active after an upgrade to 10 from 9?  Thanks!

Import fixed asset is not working properly.  Below is the test plan:Create an FA object with valid from date 8/30/2016, assigned to an object group with SL BP for 7y0m. Import the object with acc. Depreciation value for year 2022, period 12. Post the import transactions. Create a new depreciation proposal for the object above for year 2023, period 1, review the proposal, you will notice the depreciation will fully depreciate the object with the remaining residual value.  That is incorrect.  The object should still have another 8 months to depreciate. If you would like to review our data, object id TEST2 is done via external template, object id TEST3 is created in the system, both with the same issue.  The testing data is on my UAT database (URL: IFS Cloud). We are currently on IFS Apps 8 but not using the fi

Trying to set up an External File Template to import Customer Payments.  Whether I use a system-provided template or one I set up on my own using the great advice in this community, I get this error:  “ORA-20111: ExtPayParameter.NOTEXIST2: The Ext Pay Parameter object does not exist.”  For example, I’ve tried the system template CUP_USCUSCHK.  Does anyone know what this error means???Thanks.

I am trying to do a CSV integration export in which when opened in Notepad ++, it doesn’t have leading quotes (“). I am trying to send this file every week to a customer via EDI for billing and the testing keeps failing because of this.Attached is the integration I am testing and the file with the issue.

Hi all,We’re in the process of an IFS Cloud implementation and I’m setting up some Data Migration jobs to perform data loads for testing and later on in Production.When setting up the CREATE_TABLE_FROM_FILE job, there are some preset rules loaded but I always need to manually add SKIPLINES rule = 1, because I really want to keep the headers in my upload .csv template file.Any idea where I can add the skiplines rules in the default?

I have installed IFS Excel Add-in on my computer, I connect this to the cloud environment that I work with.I then update a record on table “Account Group” and when I go in to IFS, the record has not been updated. Excel in Windows10 environment User has gone to Add-ons menu and selected the following two: To create and update data in IFS Applications using Microsoft Excel you need to install the IFS Data Migration Excel Add-in. As a prerequisite you need to install Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime. Next Excel is opened. The new tab IFS Applications is visible. User uses the icon to connect to IFS: Nothing happens. No log in screen is presented. Anyone an idea what could be the issue for this?

HI All, In IFS Cloud, for certain customers we have created Functional Objects. Now when we are delivering a Unit, we need to fill in the Superior SM Object ID Field.In order for us to keep visibility where a machine is located and to have easy access in the Equipment Object Navigator. Is it possible that for certain Sales Parts this  “ Superior SM Object ID Field”  field becomes Mandatory ? Looking forward to your input. Regards, Marcel

We were in progress of debugging why a certain data migration job was not importing data correctly and we got a couple of issues/bugs while debugging.  Attribute string fieldWe wanted to use the attribute string to verify if the data was read correctly BUT it looks like the attribute string is cuttoff at a certain size? (1922 chars?)This is quite tricky as we could not debug if the data went in or not? View Temporary table created by job?When creating a job with CREATE_TABLE_FROM_FILE it seems its impossible to view the table created by this job? For example with Quick reports?

Hi together,we are currently in an Upgrade Project to 22R2 and we want to migrate Notes.We found the topic Job migration of Business Opportunity - Note issue | IFS Community but when we enter the method BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API.Write_Note_ in the Method List of the Mig Job we get the following error. So we checked the API in PL/SQL Developer and saw that the datatype for rowid_ is ROWID. This seems wrong.Does anybody have the same issue? Do you know how to fix that error?

Hi All -- hoping for some help with a migration job issue I’ve been struggling with. I need another pair of eyes to see what I’m overlooking.I’ve got a job containing two separate views, plus the custom field view for one. Validating my job results in “Validate OK”, however upon execution I receive “The Sales Part Base Price already exists.”  I’m trying to update the custom field (CF$_ACCEPTABLE_USE_CODE_DB) or any field in the line, and not create a new one. Attaching screenshots of everything I can think of… I’m also a rookie when it comes to data migration. 

Is there a way to do mass part uploads on sales campaign or in customer agreement at deal per part level. Regards, Urvaksh 

I am using FSM with a SQL database and wish to produce a new Test DB from my existing PROD DB. I have tried restoring a backup of the Prod DB to the test DB and this doesn't work as it says DB not available. I have tried doing and export from the Prod DB to the Test DB but I get an error about writing to a read only table. Does anyone have any advice?
