Hi,scenario:Sites: “ELDIS” and “RETIA”Supplier: 21273Supplier Purchase Parts:390040336199 (Purchase Part for supplier “21273” and Site “ELDIS”)100015100500 (Purchase Part for supplier “21273” and Site “RETIA”) I make Purchase Order on Site “ELDIS” (header) for Supplier “21273” and check Centralized. There are two lines. First line is for 390040336199 automaticaly with Site “ELDIS”. Then I add second line, change Site from “ELDIS” to “RETIA”, insert part “100015100500”. In this moment system show a info message “This part does not exist for the purchase site”.Question is, why is necessary to have Supplier Purchase Part (100015100500)  for Site “ELDIS” too? Or I need some another settings…?  Thank you

Hi, we use a lot the pre-defined pre-posting for projects:  I was wondering: is there a chance to set a pre-posting related to a single Activity of the project? Currently we are only able to set the pre-posting at Project level or Sub-project level. We would like to have, for each activity in a project, a different pre-posting. Paola

Hi Everyone, I’ve been breaking my head with this one today.  We have two sites, site 1 is the supplier for site 2 (customer).  We do have multi-site planned checked on the supplier for purchase part on site 2 for this part number.I cannot figure out why my inventory goes negative on site 2 on 1/16, and a distribution order is created by MRP and scheduled to arrive until 1/20 -  and not the day before ( 1/15) to satisfy demand. 😣 This is a screen shot from the Inventory Part Availability Planning (IPAP) screen: Any ideas how i can make the dist order to arrive before inventory goes negative?  Thank you!  

Hi,  I have tried running the ‘Cleanup on Inventory’ parts for the first time since we started using IFS and although I can see some lines have been removed, I am still seeing lots of Qty on Hand = 0 Can someone explain how I can run something that removes ALL zero qty on hand as of today?Also, the Date filter in the Clean Up - How is this working? Will it only remove lines that have been zero for the days specified?

Hello,   Is there a way to add free text / notes on a purchase order?  In addition to our standard terms and conditions per supplier per part number we tend to give additional special instructions and we would like to add notes / free text on a per PO basis. Any help on how to do this is much appreciated. 

We have a customer who has some control or special characters at the end of manu_part_no column which looks like a space. When the .NET client validates during the save operation in supplier for purchase part/manufactures tab, it results in error “ORA-20111: Manufacturer part number MDM-15SH006B-F222 does not exist for manufacturer 100074 of part number 112-17-728.”.It’s because it is stored in PART_MANU_PART_NO_TAB as “MDM-15SH006B-F222 “ (note the special character at the end of 222. If I run the following SQL, I get a number of rows. And this looks like migrated data.SELECT  a.*FROM PART_MANU_PART_NO_tab aWHERE  (SUBSTR(manu_part_no , -1,1)) = CHR(49824)Do you know how you can get a character with ascii value of 49824 using the Application?If I type Alt 49824, I get á.   

Hi, I want to just update the price on the PO line. I am able to do this in the application but i want to do this using the API without updating any other values. Is there a call to just update the price? 

We are on Apps8 and we would like to manage through IFS, supplier contracts like cell phone contracts, electricity contracts, contracts with universities… The need is basic as we want to be able to identify contracts per supplier but also to manage the deadline of the contracts.All these partners are codified as a supplier. Is the sub contract menu appropriate for that kind of contract or are there alternatives to do so ?Thanks for your help

Hi Mates,it is possible to delete a line from Activity Demand without cancelling Project Supply Request and the line is also deleted from PR automatically (even though the PR is in Authorized state).Is there anyway to stop this ? (and allow to delete the demand line only if the PR is in Planned state) Thanks in advance

Hi,On Apps 10 UPD15 - EE Client We are investigating the SRM Panel Outlook plugin.We have figured most things out, however the last piece of the puzzle is if there is a possibility for a Business Mail to auto select a Main Representative when it is created in IFS. For example:Whenever the ‘Save to SRM’ plugin option is selected in Outlook, the Business Mail is created in IFS. The only people who can see this record in IFS are Admin users (Or everyone if we have the ‘Include Records Without’ checkbox selected) As the user has to authenticate with their IFS login credentials, I would have thought there would be a way to auto set the Main representative (or at least give access to) for the business mail for the user who uploaded it into IFS. Ideally, we want to only have IFSAPP as the admin user and deselect the ‘Include Records Without’ and for the Business Mail to auto choose the Main Representative who will have access and then be further able to share the access accordingly. There als

Hi, I have a user that is unable to see the list of Purchase Order Authorizations pending in Aurena. User is unable to view in My Purchase Authorizations, Purchase Order Authorizations, Or on the Authorization tab on the PO.  User is an active authorizer and part of an authorization group. I am using the same settings for other Authorizers who are able to view the list. And ideas?

Hello :) I have a customer scenario where they will create a maintenance purchase requisition and convert it to a PO. On the PO line, I tested changing my PO Line to an alternate part, and it creates me a new PO line which is fine however it is not work order connected. I then cant cancel my oroginal PO line because its pegged to the work order. Has anyone else come across similiar scenarios and how to overcome this block? When we send parts to a subcontractor we use a freight company to ship these items.We create a PO with Supplier A to do the subcontract work.Supplier B (UPS, Old Dominion, etc) is paid for the shipping costs.  How can I associate the shipping costs with the cost of making the part?

As solved on the following post, I understand how automatic sending of reports are triggered via event actions.  Reprint Invoices Automatically Emailing | IFS Community My question is, only one of the users, when trying to make changes and print / reprint the PO, sends it automatically to the Supplier. When I try it with my user, it doesn't happen. I’ve checked the conditions for the event ‘PDF_REPORT_CREATED’ and this is how it looks like:This PO dosen’t belong to the site above as well, fyi Happens with only one user, not for everyone. 

Hi Everyone, while counting the part the unit cost and the quantity is not equally distributed, so basically, I need to count 15 quantity in and count in 3 quantity with an equivalent cost. any probability ?? Thank you in advance

Hi,We have several inventory parts that should be purchase parts only. Is there anyway of setting the inventory part to inactive and only use it as purchase part. We have already tried creating a part status to inactivate the inventory part but this doesn’t work when you try and use the purchase part. It gives errors on register arrival. Any suggestions or work arounds would be greatly appreciated.CheersMaggie
