EDIFACT format support for EDI

Hi All ,

   Do we have any IFS Customer using EDIFACT format(flat file) for EDI messages ? As far as i know , most of our customer using XML format (ITS) for EDI . I would be really happy to see your reply and apreciate it .

Hi Deepal,

We receive EDI in VDA format (4905 and 4915) and have it transformed to EDIFACT DELSCH, and we output EDIFACT DESADV and then transform to VDA 4913. Currently the transformation is done by third party software rather than using IFS’s transformation capabilities.

Hi, GPIE

Could you please tell me which third party software you using to transform VDA to EDIFACT and EDIFACT to VDA?

For maping in EDIFACT we using Mapforce but mapforce does not support VDA.
