Does anyone know how parts are classified as “expired”? We have active parts that are still used on active BOMs but their lifecycle stage is expired. Is there a way to changes these to a different stage?

A customer of mine is getting the namened error message, when tryiung reporting or close a work task. There are more then one task for whom it is not working. The tasks have several material lines and also purchase requsitions. All Material is issued and all lines are closed, also the requisition is closed. I cant find the reason, why it is possible to close/report other tasks which also have already closed material lines.

Hi,Since installing APPS10 UPD18, we observe a special behaviour when entering a No Part Purchase Requisition line:If we forget to enter the tax code, this message appears correctly when saving: Now we enter the tax code manually or choose it from the list of values . . . . . . and jump with the cursor into the field “Tax Code Description” to display the description, the tax code disappears: With APPS10 UPD13 (before installing APPS10 UPD18) it worked correctly: RemarksIf the tax code is entered before saving, it works correctly.However, after the error message appears (“A Tax code is required when supplier tax validation has Transaction Level selected on Company, Tax control tab”), it doesn’t work.The error behavior seems to be related to the output of this error message.I’m aware that the tax code would be drawn automatically if it was stored in the supplier. However, that is currently not the case with all suppliers and it must also work correctly this way.Is there a bugfix for this

Hi There, I have requisition authorization rules set up and working, however once authorized and Req converted to PO, IFS requests authorization on the PO again? I checked the company set-up and “Enforce Order Authorization” is toggled on, so naturally I assumed this was the reason, so I toggled it off. However once toggling this off, my PR’s no longer go through authorization? Any help is appreciated. 

Hi, I am looking for any best solution for below case. ( mapping in IFS)we place PO to supplier A ( 10 m, bar) and asked to delivered to supplier B location.we place PO to supplier B ( supplier B uses the 4m bar , supplied by us from supplier A and deliver the final material)  ( remaining 6, bar will be lying in supplier B place and uses in next PO). how we can track material locations/ remaining qty/paper work - sending material from supplier A to supplier B)Thanks

Hi There,I have created a Purchase requisition authorization rule and routing templates, and for some reason all my routing steps are not being displayed on the requisition or routed as per the steps. I’m at a loss for what I may have missed. What could I be missing that I am not seeing by chance?I have been under the assumption all steps will show especially if I have “Include All Steps and Consider Limits” selected on the auth. Rule general tab. Auth. Rule 1 - Priority 1 <$500k - Maximum amount $500kRouting template linked to auth. Rule 1, using project roles, all with auth. limit of $500kStep 10 Step 20 Step 30 Auth. Rule 2 - Priority 2 >$500k - Min $501k to Maximum amount $10mlRouting Template linked to auth. rule, using auth. groups, all have max auth. limit of $10mlStep 40Step 50 Once the requisition is released only the following steps appear when I need all the steps 10-50 to appear (Screen shot below)Step 30Step 40Step 50  

Hello everyone,I have a shop order that was partially received with a transport tasks, but when I am consulting the receipt has the status “to be received” and the Arrived Purch Qty and Transport Task ID field is empty . When I try to close the shop order the option is not available Does everyone know how to change this status to “Received” ? To confirm and close the SO..I am working with Vr8.Thanks and regards, 

Is there an IFS process flow for rework purchase orders after purchase order is received..

We would like to know if anyone uses any additional software to enhance IFS capabilities to track inbound shipments.  The majority of our Distribution part of the business is 90%+ international.  Many of our purchase orders consist of 20-50 lines that may ship multiple dates and methods, some may even need to change to a direct ship to the customer. We are looking to improve the following:The ability to have a PO “Planned and/or Confirmed SHIP date” for tracking our inbound offshore shipments. We realize there is a Incoming Dispatch Advice for po ship dates, tracking details and ship vias, but we want to be able to see all the information in one place on the PO. We need better visibility of what is in transit. Hi,What exactly does Offset from Normal Time Span do in the Automatic Order Processing process?If we set up a Order Process type to only release Req’s and set an offset to 10, does this mean it will only release Req’s where the Latest Order Date is within 10 days?Not sure what date the offset uses and could not find in the help.Thanks!

Select Requisition to Order in the Operations menu. The Requisition to Order Parameters dialog box opens. Select the Centralize Purchase check box. The Site field will be enabled. (How to default to Centralized Site?) In the Site list, select the site that will perform the purchasing for the demand. You can choose any site to which you have access. A new fetch of the qualified purchase orders will be presented in the lower pane of the window.

Hello,  When we use IPR we can check calculation details with simulation file.Into this file there is  a column “Order day”  : States Yes if a order can be placed on that day othervice No.So it look like IPR and or MRP can take it into account to schedule orders, but how or where can we configure this data in IFS?    Regards

What’s the sigficance of IFS letting you manually enter this value? I mean, it automatically gets filled when the following conditions are fullfilled. The receipt status is Received All invoices that are matched to the receipt are posted. The complete arrived quantity has been invoiced or returned.This is fine. But my problem is this: Sometimes my user, immediately after a receipt, manually enteres a value in this field in order to complete the project activity. He dosen’t mind about invoice matching or anything about the received lines. I am wondering why IFS lets you manually enter a value even when Invoiced qty =0, given the situation I experienced? 

Hi,in the manual supplier invoice screen we need a way the match to be with summarized PO receipt lines because currently a lot of GL entries are created as per received serials or lots. I mean summarized per purchase order receipt and per purchase group without changing anything in financial mapping and not for every line.thank you

As per customer when trying to return the parts using “register inspection result’ in the return tab system gives error message “Puchase order of type EXTERNAL SERVICE ORDER’ cannot be return to the supplier.How can handle this in application? Is there any workaround or solution?

Hi Team,I need your help on count-in customer-owned inventory parts back into the inventory.1. The part was initially came to inventory from PO. 2. Then by using a count report entire qty has been counted out.Again this part need to be counted in using “Count per inventory Part” windowDefine cost structure dialog box will appearing when I tried to save the record.   Part will come in to inventory as company owned.How I can get rid of define cost structure popup every time I count in zero inventory part. (No cost structure is defined when the part comes into inventory because it is customer-owned part? How can I count in part as customer-owned using Count per inventory part window?Note:Part type : Manufactured
